Even better, he did so in about 3 hours on a Saturday. On top of that that, he did the job for about half of what the Dodge dealer was asking (my wife) for. Also, he didn't try to rip me off with an up-sell, even though the opportunity was there...he correctly identified a few other issues (that actually were known issues). He mentioned these issues, but didn't try to pressure me to have them addressed at this time. They were really nice and honest -- they could have told me anything and I would have believed them. They charged me 1/2 hour labor and that was it. We do NOT recommend this mechanic…read more Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. We received a quote to replace our brake lines and paid him for the work. However, after the repairs, the truck was still not drivable. He then told us it would cost even more to repair the brake lines, even though repairing the brake lines was part of the original quote. If you choose to use this mechanic, make sure you get a written, itemized estimate before any work begins, and confirm exactly what is included in the quoted price. He accepts Venmo and Cash App, but I would recommend paying by check made out to the business name rather than sending money to a personal payment account. It may provide better documentation if a dispute arises. Based on our experience, we now have to pay someone else to complete the repair because we no longer had confidence that the work would be completed correctly or at all. As a result, we are out the money we were quoted for the repairs and still have a truck that we are unable to drive.
