This is a more upscale dispensary than others I've visited. It a beautiful store and gives the modern vibes of an apple store converted to a dispensary. The parking lot is huge making the store easy to access. Although I do have to say I noticed that the handicap ramp was quite long. The doorman did not welcome me, only asked if I med or rec and directed me to man in uniform. The security guard didn't make eye contact or say hello as he grabbed my ID and proceeded with the check in process. Overall, not a really warming start. Thankfully, that all changed as I got to the counter and was greeted by a very friendly budtender. He happily gathered my order and listed off what I was purchasing. I called ahead to see what types of incentives they have for new customers. Online it advertises a 25% off discount for new members and after calling I was informed this is applied to full priced items only, but there was a 10% stackable discount. I'm glad I mentioned it at the register because it did not automatically apply and manager's approval was needed - so if you visit on your first trip, don't forget to tell them. Overall, I think the prices were a little higher than the dispensaries around but I appreciated the extra 10%. However, we all know the deals are what drives a dispensary. what I noticed is they had about 20-30% off most products with deals on 2g carts. With those types of promotions and the fact I live nearby, I'll can definitely see myself returning. read more

Love Hatch! I frequently take a 30 minute drive to go to Hatch and Earthmed, which is around the corner. I always find what i want at a good price between the two. I love the way Hatch looks inside, the people who work there are knowledgeable and super nice, great selection with decent sales, and ample parking. Hatch has the better parking situation compared to earthmed. As in, there's available spots at any given time and you're not forced to park on the street. From here, the pros and cons are about the same as with other dispensaries and quality varies depending on the employees you encounter. After seeing some of the livid reviews I figured I'd try to say something less biased. Check websites for prices. Although I usually prefer to go to Hatch, at the time of reading this review earthmed had the better deal in the products I wanted. Don't forget to sign up for rewards, some products even give cash back. Yeah, almost all the product sources that these dispensaries are buying their products from short you on larger amounts especially shake. It's unfortunate. You're not going to weigh it in your car and bring it in for a refund like you would a street dealer, there's a lot of senseless redtape in legalization. I've been coming here for a long time now (2017). I really like all the Budtenders. They are all very nice and knowledgeable about their menu. They also give reward points and birthday gifts. They used to have the BEST water, but since the Pandemic they have not been giving out water. Bummer. I have truly seen the evolution of Hatch and it makes me so happy to now see them as a fully branded organization. Great shop, only wish they were closer to me. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a really good selection of product and usually carry most things when other local places are a hit and a miss. They even went so far as to tell us that a competitor made the specific edible we were looking for so that dispensers would be the main source for that product. It was so refreshing and will earn more of my business for that reason, even with the longer drive. Only thing that I would suggest is perhaps a different line or set up for pickups without add-ons. Usually, when I order online, I just want to run in and pickup. But we noticed that people would order online and then add additional pieces, which is great but it made the stop.a bit longer. read more

I would rate 3.5/5 if you could. 3 feels slightly too low. Honestly, this is the nicest dispensary in the area. Other dispensaries look like the DMV, and this one is definitely a boutique feel. Very aesthetically pleasing and personal exchange with the budtenders. The reason for my low rating is the lack of physical menus. They only allow you to look at the screen when you walk in, and it's hard to compare everything when the screen is constantly changing to a different section of the menu. Also, other dispensaries include all taxes and fees in the price, and that's not the case here so it's hard to gauge exactly how much money to withdraw from the ATM. I mean let's face it - these are nice problems to have. But in my opinion, these were the negatives to the experience and because of this I don't think I'll be likely to return. read more

Been there twice the card machine never works. Than they don't let you tell your friend who walked in with you to loan you 50 cents if your short. My second visit I'm waiting in line and someone lady walked up after me and they told me they have to help her first (I think because of my skin color) and when I stated my opinion they told me I had to leave. WORST DISPENSARY!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ESPECIALLY IF YOUR A MEDICAL PATENT AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. On June 19 I went in and I purchased 14 grams of shake/trim of Layer Cake by GRASSROOTS. When I got to my car and scaled it out like I always do, it only scaled out to be 7.03 grams. I immediately went back into Hatch and asked to speak with a manager. The first manager I spoke with was Shelly. From the beginning she approached me with a rude attitude. I explained to her that I just wanted a refund or an exchange for the 14 grams that I originally paid for. At first she said that she would only give me a credit of half of what I purchased since I got 7 out of 14 grams even though I didn't want the 7 grams because I needed 14 grams. I told her that's not right when it was suppose to be 14 grams that I just paid $80 dollars for. We went back and forth on getting a refund or an exchange then once she didn't want to exchange it for another 14 grams she decided to give me a CREDIT not a refund for $80. Since I still needed 14 grams for my pain/anxiety and they didn't have any strains to help my pain/anxiety except a 14 gram shake by HIGH SUPPLY, I asked if they can price match the 14 gram shake that they had for $100 and EarthMed a dispensary which is 5 minutes away from hatch had for $78.62. She said no they will not price match. On top of that they wanted to charge 7 out of the 14 grams recreationally even though I'm a medical patient. After that I had my boyfriend come in the store because I started having a panic attack. In that moment another manager Kim got involved and immediately was rude to my boyfriend. My boyfriend tried to explain to them that I'm a medical patient and I need my medicine because of my severe pain and anxiety which is why I wanted an exchange. But since they charge more for the same shake that another dispensary does; that's 5 minutes away, they would not price match or do an even exchange even though hatch should take responsibility for the product that they sold being 7 grams short. After this Kim started acting hysterically and that's when I started recording because they wouldn't give me proof that my account has a credit and I felt unsafe because Kim was trying to snatch my phone and she had the security guard involved. Then she started saying that they're closed now but we were there before they closed and their were still a lot of people in the store. At the end of the day I was kicked out of hatch with no refund, no exchange, and no proof that $80 was credited to my account and 14 grams from my medical card allotment was deducted that I'm not going to get back until 2 weeks. That's 2 whole weeks of being in pain because hatch did not take responsibility of the inconvenience caused by a product they sold to a MEDICAL patient. As a dispensary that caters to patients and people in pain, the security guard should not tell you "enough with the excuses" when you can't walk as fast as they want you to when they're kicking you out of the store while your trying to explain you can't walk as fast as he wants you to because of the limp in your leg. The 2 years that I've had my medical card I've had inconveniences with other dispensaries and HATCH has been the only one to not take responsibility for the products they sell, has not made it right with the customer/patient, and they have rude/disrespectful inconsiderate staff members. For this reason I will NEVER go back to HATCH. ANY OTHER MEDICAL PATIENT THAT IS READING THIS PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND GO 5 MINUTES AWAY TO EARTHMED, which has impeccable customer service and great deals. Pretty happy this location is for medical cannabis users only (so far)! It's very clean inside, nicely remodeled, and friendly people. I came here on a Tuesday afternoon and the line was short with no wait time. Although their menu is small compared to other dispensaries, they update their menu 4 times a day to have the current inventory. Again, there is a shortage of flower in Illinois so it's very hard to find half ounce of flower. I will try out this dispensary and hopefully it will continue to satisfy what I need. Just glad I can find something near by work. read more

I understand how coupons work as well as retail so I see both ends. So I wanted to get cones just a few bucks and some pre rolls ok cool I have point , so yes no cause then they would own me money and they can't go neg. I was try trying to use my point I don't come here often enough and now I really get why. Other dispensary guess what you can use your points no matter if it makes them neg cause we as the customer earned it. Is this really worth $20? And let's talk about speed, god forbid being on a break. Per my last visit wanted to switch something out while still in the store for something that was $2 cheaper and seriously took over 30 between this guy walking up to me, asking me questions, walking back to manager, back to me. I had originally signed up with another dispensary also in Addison, but literally ran out of that place when I visited it for the first time. I switched to Mindful after meeting the staff and being so impressed with the facility and product. Don't hesitate to come here. They'll take good care of you. I live on the North Side of Chicago. Hatch dispensary in Addison is the best!! I've been to a few and this one is family owned but it's the best customer service. Each employee is so kind caring and compassionate. They take their time to make sure you get what you want/need. The manager Tyler is so sweet and wonderful. I had a issue and she took care of it instantly with so much care and compassion. Completely made my day also went over terpenes and what would work for me and wouldn't. Tyler was so knowledgeable and took her time to make sure I understood what would work for me. The way she explained everything to me was, in such a manner that I completely understood her and felt so comfortable with her recommendations. Robin is another great employee at hatch. I've seen her start and not know much and she took it upon herself to learn so much. Robin also always gives me the best recommendations and is so knowledgeable. Tyler and Robin don't just clock in and out they both value their jobs. That is so important. It's always a great experience at hatch. They make me feel so welcomed. read more

I have been going to Mindful for quite awhile now. I have always loved it there. The staff were so caring and conscientious. Not long ago the management changed and now they are both medical and recreational. Since the change I have noticed it isn't the same anymore. I emailed them about a product issue that no one seems to care about (when I had a product issue before they called me and addressed it. Now they aren't) The staff seem unhappy. The last two times I have come in the security guard who holds the door open hasn't had their mask on all the way. Today the security guard had it off all the way. He was holding the door open for all the patients walking out. Saying to them "Have a good day." probably a foot and a half from their face as they walk out. Many of those people walking by have serious illnesses. Cancer. Autoimmune diseases. I am a medical client and this really concerned me for myself and others. I told the mindful employee who was in the foyer that the security guard doesn't have his mask on and the mindful employee told me he doesn't enforce their mask policy when someone is outside. And he wasn't very kind about it. Even though the security guard with his mask off was holding the door open for medical patients coming out so he was very close to us and talking to us and facing our face. I felt safe and respected going there all this time...not anymore. I'm so disappointed in the direction this previously safe and supportive place is going. read more
