Highlights: Baiting and deceiving advertisement. Offensive and confrontation sales staff (except for the female teams members; thank you for being nice). The team will not acknowledge nor take responsibility for their actions. Hatfield RV will waste your time, effort and money. If I could do a 0 star I would. I am appalled at their behavior. STAY AWAY!!! Corrective actions: Be truthful and honest about the condition and price of your sales items. If you are firm or wish to sell a bike as-is please post it in the ad. Treat your customers with kindness and respect; they chose to visit you. Teach your team the art of the soft sale. No customer should ever be ganged on by 3+ members of your staff at one time. DO NOT WASTE people's time. There is a cost to every minute and mile your customers choose to invest when looking at your sales items. If you or your team makes a mistake own up to your mistakes and do not ever call a customer a liar. READ ALL the other reviews before taking business their way especially on used equipment. Hatfield RV posted a classic bait ad on CL for a '07 Sportster 883 in "excellent" condition for 2995. I corresponded with their team to define the condition. I was assured through email the bike was near perfect. When I arrived the bike had small scratches on the tank, corrosion all over the engine, polished covers and some of the chrome. The bike looked like it had been in a dirt floor barn for 10 years. The engine was missing and backfiring through the throttle body. The tires were cracked as long as 1" x 1/4" in the sidewall. Based on the tires the bike is not road worthy and is unsafe at any speed. I proceeded to attempt to cut a deal based on the fair-good condition. The sales team became confrontational and argumentative and immediately moved to a hard sale tactics. The team told me I was told the price was 4000 not 2995. My son and I were put through strong arm tactics to purchase the bike in the as-is as-was condition. They appealed to my son when he was alone how good a deal this was and how he needed to appeal to me to buy the bike. I was told I was lying about the ad and the condition of the bike. I pulled up the ad and the correspondence with one of their team. The salespersons (multiple were pushing for the sale and denying the facts) finally called the owner who said they would honor the price on CL as -is firm nothing else. I explained they wasted 4 hours of my time by posting this ad and using baiting tactics. I also explained how offensive the team was in their strong arm argumentative sale practices. The owner has no interest in working to a compromise. Jason Hatfield explained to me that my definition and his are different on the term "excellent". Jason Hatfield has no issue with their ad, sales tactics, offensive behavior or unsafe condition of the vehicle. Hatfield RV successfully placed the order for us (word for word, phoned in, as we already knew what we wanted), and delivered the unit in a timely manner. That's about all I can say for them. They failed to deliver the order as placed (the unit was not exactly as we had ordered, with no repercussions). It is now four months later, and we are STILL waiting on our return of our $1000 deposit - even after paying in full for the unit via financing. We also have yet to receive our title/registration. We are never able to speak with the right person. Phone calls are never returned. And, of course, warranty work will only be performed if we bring the unit in - they do not come onsite, as their delivery personnel assured us. Jason and team are super nice and customer service oriented when they think they you are making a purchase. Had rented a camper 2 weeks in advance and was told the day before we were picking it up that it had been sold. A comparable camper was offered (New) but was a hitch we could not hook up to our truck. We had to cancel our camping weekend for family reasons and Jason refused to refund my deposit. My deposit was on a trailer I could pull that they sold. So in essence he was trying charge me to clean an already clean and new camper. After arguing with him for 10 minutes and demanding a refund having him shake his head in disgust at me he defiantly offered $100 of my $200 deposit back. When I expressed my distress with the situation to the owner, Jason, he told me to "f*** off" and that he wasn't there to provide service to anyone but people who purchased something from him. ought a used Gulfstream class C rv this past February. I was told small roof leaks had been repaired. It leaked like a sieve when I got it home, 200 miles away. They put a whole new roof on, but took six weeks to do it. During my recent preparations for a trip, I have found a spongy rotten spot in the flooring. They claim they didn't know about these issues which means they suck at what they do or they are liars. BEWARE. Update, June 20, Wednesday. I had a phone conversation with the owner today. We had an agreement that the cracked bathroom/hallway linoleum had to be replaced as part of the deal before I took possession, so his crew had to have seen the rotten wood subfloor. He told me to bring the rv back for his maintenance department to look it over. I said Jason, it's a 3 hour drive. We have already been back for the roof leaks. Every trip back costs me $200 for gasoline. I need assurance this will be taken care of at your expense. He would not commit to that. Jason said "you bought a used rv from me, what do you expect". I said I expect an rv with a roof that didn't pour water inside and a floor I wouldn't have to worry about falling through. On May 27th, I placed an order for a 2019 KZ Sportsmen 130RB camper. and made a $1,000 down payment to order the unit. The camper was delivered on or about the end of June. Upon inspection we became immediately concerned as to the quality of the new camper. The roof of the camper had indentions at every screw that had been placed. Aesthetically, it looked awful. I climbed up on the tailgate of my truck to inspect the roof and discovered it was a metal roof that was very, very thin and rippled from its travels to the dealership. Also, the manufacturer had used a 3" (+/-) black caulk to seal the seams in the corner because the corners were damaged and beaten down where it had been screwed. It was very unsightly. The other screws were not caulked at all. I went inside the camper to inspect the roof and I was able to physically push up on the ceiling very easily. It was very poorly constructed. I expressed my concerns and was told that it was "better than most" but I believed it was of very poor design. Any other camper on the lot of this manufacturer had a much different roof design. This was NOT what we had anticipated based on all of our research and observations. We decided that this camper did not meet our standards and was unacceptable. We declined to take ownership of the unit. However, we felt that because Hatfield had special ordered it to their lot that in good faith, we offered them $200 for their efforts. Hatfield declined any refund on our deposit stating "customer ordered a very specific build that we have never stocked". Although it may not have been previously stocked, this was not a special order. It had not been retrofitted or changed specifically for this order ... it simply was not already on the lot. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a camper. I also attempted to work with them to mutual satisfaction but they were unwilling and I feel treated us unethically. There are many places that value the business of their customers; unfortunately, Hatfield is not one of them. read more

I have been using Hatfield for a couple years for car repairs. I don't own an RV. But when I am ready to buy one, I will get it from Jason! Mike, Jason's mechanic replaced the timing belt, idler, and water pump on my minivan last year. The arm failed and the whole job had to be redone. The parts company covered the cost of the parts, but the labor was left to Jason and I. Hatfield graciously covered half of the labor costs even though the labor was well out of the 90 day warranty. Given the circumstances, I am very satisfied with the fairness they demonstrated in a tough situation. read more

We purchased a Class C motorhome in May of this year from Hatfield. There were a few issues that needed repaired and they agreed they would fix them. From the day we signed the paperwork our nightmare began. One of the major items that needed replaced was the large window over the table. We were told lie after lie regarding replacing the window. They (Ken) told us that Gulfstream kept backordering the window. The truth was (Ken) never ordered the window!! I contacted Gulfstream and they helped me by ordering the window (free of charge to Hatfield) because they felt bad about the way we were treated. Four months later we have our motorhome with the new window. I will never recommend Hatfield to ANYONE. Not a trustworthy company. read more

In general I received the service I wanted for my RV and the price was reasonable. A couple things concerned me: 1. Parking is horrible. My RV was on the back lot inches from a tree and other RV's. 2. The office is cluttered and seemed disorganized. 3. Communication was poor to nonexistent. I purchased an Evergreen Ascend travel trailer in 2015 and got a great deal, so when I had some warranty service needed I brought it up from Cincinnati to get it tackled. The repairs took two weeks but were done correctly and they had even fixed a hole in the fiberglass where some jerk hit it at my storage lot, and at no cost. Bought a new 2018 Stryker 3212 about 2 weeks ago. Had no intentions of buying until this fall/winter but they gave me a great price and more than fair value for my trade. Dealt with Andy and Dave on the sale and they were very friendly, informative and helpful. After agreeing to a deal, they were able to get it prepped and ready in just a few short days and I was able to pick it up. We did have a little issue a few days after we purchased it but the owner called me personally and ironed everything out within a short time. I have already referred other people to them and will continue to do so as well. I hope to do further business with them in the future!! read more

This review was from last April and was posted on their other location. Wanted to make sure it was put on the correct site. We had been thinking about purchasing a camper and had taken it to Hatfield's in April for them to inspect it. That went well and they gave us a small list of things to do. We purchased the camper an had a few things left to replace and figured we would give them the business and took the camper back up to get this done. While they had the camper apparently the tech must have inadvertently ripped our canvas insert away from our camper as we have a hybrid with a bunk sleeper on each end. Of course no mention was made and since the work being done didn't require us to open the bunk prior to leaving the property we didn't. The day after we decided to put more water proofing on the canvas windows and low and behold saw the damage on the one side. We left a message with them regarding this and when I got a chance to speak to them...of course they didn't do, it was like that when we brought it them. Uh no! Then they had the audacity to tell me that we told them that we had mentioned we were going to replace the canvas. Again NO, the canvas is in awesome condition and doesn't need replaced. They are LIARS and will never get business from us again. We actually are looking at selling this camper and buying a new one next year, but you bet it won't be from them. This place does not even deserve one star. Made a deal to purchase a 2003 Sunvoyager motorhome. Made arrangements to go out to Ohio from PA to look at it and sign the paperwork. Upon arrival we realized that the RV did not have the TV or radio in it that was shown in the picture. Our salesman was no where to be found. We waited and waited around the parking lot forever. There were issues that needed to be taken care of and they assured us that upon pick up that everything would be in working order. They told us it would be about 2 weeks for them to put new tires on it and give it a complete check on "everything" bumper to bumper. Finally after waiting a month we went to get it. They said that they didn't have time to get to everything so it didn't have a backup camera and they couldn't order the backup camera because they didn't make them for that RV any longer. But miraculously we found one on the internet. They supposedly say ALL UNITS COME FULLY PREPPED WITH ALL MAJOR SYSTEMS IN WORKING ORDER. Not true. The air conditioning didn't work, lightbulbs were missing, the couch was not even attached to the wall, on the way home to PA the windshield popped out, no backup camera, tv they installed was not the one in the original picture, it was filthy, and they never sealed the roof. Water pours in behind the TV in the front and in the drivers side upper cabinet. They avoided phone calls and brushed us off. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JASON HATFILED RV. read more
