The team that worked on my vehicle was very professional and up front with me from the beginning. On August 13, 2026, I dropped my 2021 Honda CRV Hybrid Touring model off at Honda Marysville, Ohio because the steering wheel habitually became stiff and hard to turn after driving for 15 miles, which I saw as a safety hazard. Service Advisor Brian Liska, called a while later that day to report that the power steering unit had failed and that it would be an expensive repair for both parts and labor. Meanwhile, Mr. Liska researched for any recalls of 2021 Honda CRV vehicles for this issue with the power steering unit and found none. He also inquired about any warranty that would cover the repair, but the vehicle's warranty had expired. I agreed to the repair, estimated at a cost of $5,000 for parts and labor. Upon completion, the total for the repair of the power steering unit was $3,501.86, considerably less than the estimate. The vehicle required a new four-wheel alignment as a result of the need to remove the power steering rack to perform the repair. The cost for the alignment was also less expensive than what my local Honda dealer charges. That repair held up great. More recently, another fender bender and I was going through insurance and they recommended a different shop, but I didn't really agree or understand the other shop's guy, and I took it to Jim for a second opinion. Jim's estimate came in slightly lower but more importantly I felt like he was able to explain to me the different options clearly about either quitting the claim so it didn't get totaled or doing the salvage title or just getting the money and giving up the car. The car ended up getting totaled by insurance and we had Jim fix it to do a salvage retitle. Should have gone to Jim in the first place!
