Went to pick it up and what was done was done sloppy and wrong. Out of 7 items on the list 2 was half a** done. The rest was not even looked at. I would not buy anything from this company again. Have purchased 2 campers from RV Wholesalers. If we have had any issues with our camper it has always been taken care of. They were even able to get repairs made that were found after warranty was up. Our current camper we first found at another national chain, not quite set up as we wanted. RV Wholesalers had one exactly as we wanted, minus a 55" TV the other dealership had installed. For over $5k less and over $5k better options that I wanted. They are willing to work with and fought with equipment manufacturers to make things right that came up. Will be first place we look if we ever decide to change campers. read more

Our auto leveling tongue jack locked up on our new camper a few hours before closing time, the day before Thanksgiving and days before we were supposed to leave on our first out of state camping trip with it. I called RV Wholesalers in a panic, and everyone began to work together to come up with a plan to save our trip. They sent out (the incredible) Bob, who worked in freezing, windy conditions to troubleshoot. Do not use them. If you have any kind of issues, you will be met with resistance. They will try to place blame on you and Mike Durnell one of the owners will argue with you and tell you to "go away" and that you "don't know god" and "don't call them for service". The finance guy Dallas will argue with you. The service manager Laurie, will try to place blame on you or the factory. They will slip extra insurance coverage into your loan and then tell you, you don't remember when you object to it. You will be given the wrong hitch and things you did pay for and special order will not be installed when you pick up your camper. read more

I bought a brand new XLR Hyperlite in 2023 from RV Wholesalers in Lakeview Ohio. It was advertised as half ton towable, which it was not, so I had to purchase a bigger truck. I took it back because the outer lower trim was coming off. The service rep, told me, with an attitude, this was customers responsibility, and preventative maintenance. I told him, "I've owned it for a month, you fix it!" Which they ended up doing. I've had other issues, and always get a foul, nasty attitude out of the service department. One issue I had was, I purchased a window shade for the entry door. It was installed incorrectly, and fell with every bump. They ordered and replaced the shade, and attempted to charge me for it. I paid for it once! The service lady was extremely rude, and ended up writing N/C on the paperwork, very angrily, and stormed off pouting. Now, I have issues with the roof and need assistance getting it fixed, with the very expensive extended warranty I purchased. I find out, the angry lady put me on a "do not service" list, because I supposedly owe $45 for a window shade THEY damaged. Frustrated, I contacted the owner, David, and thru many emails, he backs his rude, unprofessional service team! It's a shame that a $45 item, and an extremely rude service department will lose a valuable customer. When I told the owner, I was going to write a TRUTHFUL review, the email I received from him stated, they were going to contact the county prosecutor, and sheriff's office for the false accusation of physical harm to their staff. The photos the we were sent by the salesperson were not the same RV we thought we were purchasing. Different interior color scheme and slightly different layout. My wife and I bought a new 2023 Forrest River Rockwood Ultra Lite 2608BS trailer from RV Wholesalers (RVW) on March 25, 2023. Our buying experience could not have been nicer nor easier. Unfortunately, we experienced several major warranty problems with our new trailer (bad axle bearings, bad brakes, failed thermostat and failed battery - all third party vender issues) none of which were RVW's fault. I guess all of the COVID issues were not quite out of the supply chain when my RV was built. The support staff at RVW have been very accommodating in getting the warranty items repaired or replaced to the best of their ability. I heartily recommend RVW as a good place to purchase an RV, but be warned, there are still a lot of quality control issues with new RV trailers that the dealers have no control over. read more

So when I decided to change from a gas motorhome to a diesel motorhome I was stuck. Stuck like a pig. The only way I could cancel the contract was to give away my $5000 deposit. They had me by the shorthairs. I wasn't happy. They would allow me to switch the deposit to another RV they had. They had one of the campers I had on my list of ones I liked, (it was not on the top of my list but was close) They did get the price down but I was still interested in another, but they did not have it on there lot. After multiple phone conversations with Josh, we were told that they do have the one I was interested in on their lot. (sent a picture) They lured us down (an hour drive) to take a look at it. The good with the bad: The Good: My Camper purchase with RV Wholesalers was fantastic. Especially considering they are in Ohio and I am in Florida. When I received my Camper in Florida there were a few issues that were very quickly resolved. The Bad: My camper was initially located at a camp ground where I had it delivered on October 26th 2020.. It is a Destination Model so needed a place to keep it while I prepared my camp for it. At the campground it was hooked up to city water, sewer, and power. While packing up the camper I was outside while my a member of my family was taking a shower and notice the shower was also draining on to the ground. On April 27th 2021 I had my camper moved to my property where I had no well or water hookups. I filled the fresh water holding tank and to my surprise all the water leaked out. I contacted RV Wholesalers and they had a service provider come to my location and inspect the problem. That was April 28th 2021. The service provider stated it was too big of a job for him to repair and a larger outfit would need to perform the repairs. I contacted RV Wholesalers and informed them of what the service provider said and I had not heard back from them until I sent my 3rd follow-up email threating to take action around Nov 3rd 2021. They found another service provider who I spoke with and began to make arrangements to have them come and inspect my camper. Once I emailed the owner and a few other that I had worked with during the purchase they became very responsive. This part is very important I received an email from RV Wholesalers and they asked me to sign a docusign explaining it was just in case I failed to send some parts back that the factory asked for. The document reads: RVWholesalers is not the warranty provider for your new RV. We also do not control the factory decisions making process on your warranty. We are happy to provide replacement parts on behalf of the factory to you and will submit the invoice for the part to the factory on your behalf. If the factory decides not to reimburse us for ALL or PART of the invoice for the work we have done then you will be responsible for the amount not covered. Any part of the invoice not covered will be charged to your credit card and you will be emailed a receipt and proof of factory denial. Also if you fail to gather and return part, pictures, notes, etc. requested to ensure or enable payment you will be charged the full amount of the invoice. This is pretty scarry. Just imagine you take your new car to the dealer you purchased it from to get warranty repairs completed and they told you this same thing. Would you go back to that dealership? I know this is not a car, but it an expensive purchase and I made my decision to use RV Wholesalers not just base don their price, but based on their feedback specifically regarding warranty. I called a few local RV outfits and they we baffled by this as well. I then had an attorney review the document and I was advised now to sign it. I informed RV Wholesalers of this and this was their response: Me: Signing this document is essentially giving you a blank check. RVW: not at all and if we did we would not have a 4.6 rating on google, 5 star on customer lobby and A+ with the BBB Me: Why are you asking the customer to sign the document? many times customers do not have an issue, it is operator error. Or the part tests good at the factory so again, no issue, just operator error. This document causes the customer to double check things and get permission before getting repairs done. Today it's November 18th 2021 and my camper is still not repaired. It has been 204 days since I opened the warranty issue. The response stated "again, we would love to have helped you, we are not too busy and we love our customers." I'm sorry but this doesn't align with 204 days and no response to any communication until I threaten to call and attorney and start a lemon law case. Very disappointed. Would not purchase through RV Wholesalers a second time. They spin a good line but beware. Warranty: it's great if you can find a place to take your RV to. The repair Facilities in my area are book 4 to 5 months out. I have found that most repair facilities Will not honor heartlands warrantee due to there abstinence in paying there claims. Pick up: we traveled 2500 miles to pick up our RV, RV Wholesalers had more than two weeks to prepared our unit, and on that day it was not ready , items I purchased were not installed ie satellite dish. Not to mention there were no less than 9 people picking up there RV's the same day, needless to say there was absolutely no time and an extreme rush rush to get us off the property due to it being Saturday. So I still don't have a good understanding of our RV, in regard to it's functionality. I don't have a clue, yet , but learning. READ the Owens manual, that be great if I would have received one. All we received was a flash drive with all the units manufactures warranty and instructions for the appliances included on it. Also, not one switch, button, nor valves, was or is marked as to it function. This is frustrating to say the least. I have already repaired most issues myself, which is what the manufacturer counts on. To be fair, RV Wholesalers tries to accommodate there customers, however the small size of the company and their large inventory and large customer base does not enable them to give personalize customer service in anyway. Was there to take delivery on an expensive Class C. They couldn't care less. Put us with some greenhorn tech who didn't know anything. The sales guy was powerless. I almost walked away after driving 4 hours. I stuck with it and took delivery. I'm still teaching myself the stuff I needed to know. I am going to deal direct with Forest River. I have no idea how and when my tags will arrive and nothing on my 1 year roadside assistance. I'll never cast a shadow on that place again. We purchased a XLR Hyperlite 3310 recently from RVW in Lakeview, OH. After a 2,000 mile drive from Phoenix, we arrived at the dealership on time for our 10:00 AM appointment. The first thing we noticed was that the coach hadn't been washed. Our service tech was helpful, but not familiar enough with this model to adequately explain switches and functions specific to this coach. Since getting the coach home, we have had several questions regarding some lighting functions and status of the bunkhouse ladder which appears to be missing. We've asked our salesperson and customer service person several times but all we get is crickets. Even tried customer service at Forest River. More crickets. The only redeeming value is that we saved over $20K buying from RVW opposed to local RV dealers in Phoenix. read more

Purchased a Forest River Wildwood KQBTS from RV Wholesalers in July of 2021. I ordered the camper in December of 2020 and did not receive it until July. I get it not all their fault but there was not any communication as to the delay. I picked up my camper and as we looked through it found the drawers were not even, the shelves were falling down, nails coming through the wood, many many more. We used it 3 times where I found water coming through the slide-outs leaving water stains on the floor. We submitted a claim on December 1, 2021 and as of today, May 8, 2022 we still do not have the camper back. I asked RV Wholesalers for assistance and they simply called the dealership and provided zero support. When I explained my frustration the response I received was, "I will remind you we are not the manufacturer and repairs are a manufacture issue." I purchased this lemon from RV Wholesalers with a miserable experience and they could care less about you once you purchase. I would stay away!! read more

Unfortunately the RVWholesalers service so heavily advertised is not at all what it's advertised to be. I requested an extra fan be installed at the front of the trailer by the dealer as it was too late in the process to have the manufacturer add it. About a month after delivery, I climbed on the roof to do some maintenance on the AC unit however noticed something was not right with the installed fan. Upon closer inspection it appeared that the fan was not installed flush with the roof and large gaps were left where you could see the middle of all the screws. In an apparent attempt to mitigate this, no less than 20 extra screws were haphazardly drilled around the frame. There was exposed wood, an extra hole in the roof, and extra screws covered in sealant strewn next to the fan. On the inside, the mounting frame had but cut up in the middle for the bottom to be able to reach the ceiling to be screwed in. You would have to imagine they TRIED to make it this bad. I got in contact with Noah who was very understanding of the situation and agreed that it should be taken care of immediately and they will find a remedy. Another sales agent got involved and assured me that they will have it figured out by the Monday after. Imagine my shock when Susy came back and the first email was "we did not install this", with Dave the owner chiming in to confirm this fact. I was even further shocked when Susy asked me to call the service department myself to verify the work order (as opposed to her walking over to verify) and that later she talked to them and she claimed they said "they said they didn't install it". It took a few emails back and forth for them to even admit they installed it (pointing out the obvious) even though the paper work for the order clearly has 1 factory installed fan and 1 dealer installed fan. At the same time I contacted the local Forest River Authorized repair center they referred me to to look at a couple manufacturer warranty issues to get an idea of what it might cost to fix the problem. After showing them the pictures, they couldn't believe it as it appeared to have been installed "by a 10 year old". Maybe someone's 10 year old really did install it at the service shop, who knows. I communicated to RVW my conversations, findings, labor rates etc. It was unfortunately going to be a couple months before the shop could get my trailer in. I bought the replacement fan myself as I did not want it sitting in the shop for potentially many more weeks after that as we waited for inventory. This was immediately communicated and receipt was sent over. Per RVW's pay up front for warranty issues, I thought it was all settled when Dave Durnell (owner) agreed to pay for the resolution with credit card. Fast forward a month and half later when it actually made it into the shop, the labor was done however Susy and Dave decided they would only reimburse the amount that the fan was originally paid for at the dealership, not how much it actually cost to get it to the state it should have been sold as. The trailer was in WORSE condition after their service department got through with it. After Susy and Dave insisted I take 50% of the actual cost to fix the issue roughly 10 times and my corresponding declining, they stated they would just send the check and that will be the end of it. Dave even suggested I try to sell the broken fan to get back some money that way. I offered to have it shipped back to them but obviously they were not takers. Susy suggests that I took it upon myself to get the fan issue resolved by contacting the same repair shop she sent me to for the warranty issue (part of their network) which only makes sense. She had conversations with the repair shop about the fan, their labor rate, and Dave the owner 1 month before going in asked her to follow up on the situation with the repair shop. There was no surprise of what was going on and the course of action outlined both 1 month and 1 week before. It seems they are trying to find any excuse to not address the issue properly from "we didn't install it", ignoring you to "take it or leave it". In the end I had even offered to meet in the middle on the cost difference just to get the nightmare over with, but Dave insisted nothing more would be offered. Instead of providing a reason why my request for the full amount was not reasonable Dave suggested what a great parent he was raising 3 kids and whenever they got too persistent he would cancel and they would get nothing. In order to even get the 50% reimbursement, they insist you sign a release document and force you to stay quiet and release them from other issues with the trailer. I have just asked for the trailer to be fixed to a condition that it was sold to me as before their service department caused more issues. RVW insists you try to work with them direct to resolve any issues, however the opposite does not seem to be the case. read more

He answered every question we had (we had many) and told us what to expect every step of the way. From the start with Mitch to the final walk through with Scott the lines of communications were always open. We had made changes at factory and everything was just what we had ordered. Sales team was excellent. However, they almost make you finance through them, and have a fancy video explaining why. But the finance team dosent get back to you. I needed an RV shipped. But finance and shipping have to coordinate for that to happen. They dont. I tried to get everything ready early, however they do not allow you to coordinate with shipping dept untill exactly 7 days before you ship. And you have to have your ducks in a row in those 7 days or they threaten to "not ship" . If I could have started the process earlier, it would have been much less stressful, but my insurance had to wait till precisely 7 days before shipping date before their shipping dept would communicate with me. Also their idea of a bluetooth system was to shove a boxed up bluetooth radio in the closet. Had to rewire cable brake for a weight dist hitch. And there were a couple screws missing under the frame. They misrepresented how the licensing works. (They may not know for my state) I had to order a title from the bank after waiting in line for hours (plural). And they are a bit religious, with their website, which I dont care for. read more

9/25/2020: So two weeks ago, when we were wrapping up a camping weekend, we discovered an electrical issue on the camper. The power cord got hot and fused to the camper's receptacle. As we were leaving the campground, We called the dealership in Logan County whom we purchased the camper from to make a service appointment to get it looked at and repaired. An appointment was made for last 9/25/20 Friday. The soonest they said they could get it in. When we arrived for the appointment, we were pleasantly surprised, it looked like they were waiting for our arrival. Really living up to "Get the Best RV Prices & Service In the Country... Guaranteed!" as advertised on their website. We were instructed to back the trailer onto their service pad. I showed the person who initially greeted us the problem. He said that he was going inside to get someone from the service office. The pleasantness of our visit soon began to wane. The service representative came outside and got some information, told us to move off the pad and drop the trailer in the parking lot. She then explained that they had got more RVs in for service than expected and were behind. They would not be able to look at our camper until sometime next week. WHAT ABOUT OUR APPOINTMENT! Before our arrival, I did not have an expectation our problem was going to be fixed on the spot. I thought I would have to leave the camper for repair. After some low key grumbling, so as to not piss them off too bad, since they seem to be in control of the rest of our camping season. I was told other businesses are busy too and she offered for us to take our camper with us and bring it back when they were ready. I guess so that we did not miss any camping adventures. My wife and I explained, again, that we did not have electricity and should probably not connect to power, because of an obvious, or should have been obvious to them, that the concern was a significant safety issue. This is the second time I have made an appoint for a service problem and then was told they were behind and not able to look at it until next week when I arrived. Since there is no where on their website to write a review, I am posting here. My rant for now is over. We will see what their next week holds. Called them almost a week later, after our appointment. After the sale service is really not as promised during sales pitch. Our salesman had left the company prior to our picking up the trailer. No notice and no one took over our sale. Went thru sales manager at pickup to get finance paper pushed thru - no offer to help in getting unit hooked up to our truck. Finance company they used has been HORRIFIC. Our temporary plate will expire for 2nd time and still unable to get tagged in Georgia. We have a warranty issue and when we were purchasing the trailer were told not to worry, someone will come to you for any issues - this is NOT true whatsoever. Prices seem good. I am from the west coast. I was willing to buy a unit and have it shipped to me in the Pacific North West. Props to the sales men for mentioning UShip, but I ultimately told him I'd rather go through with the dealer. All said it done, I sat on it for a couple days. 1st time buying an RV so I was pretty excited. Then texted and called the salesman I was ready to move forward. No response, seems more like he blocked my number. And no, I am not another dealer trying to discredit you. Just a military veteran, that didn't appreciate your lack of customer service. read more

Just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed meeting all the staff at RV wholesalers. Ours was a purchase of a travel trailer (2017 Rockwood Ultra Light 2902WS) to replace a very large motorhome which we had for 10 years. For numerous reasons, we wanted to downsize, and the process of selecting, researching, and purchasing over the Internet could not of been easier with the website and the sales staff at RV wholesalers. Ryan Bias was very knowledgeable and courteous throughout the process. We ultimately had to special order our trailer, and Brad Jackson, the general manager, got involved and made this purchase an extraordinary experience. I don't want to sound like I'm overstating this, but these guys are fantastic on multiple levels. Price is, of course, a very important factor. When I tell you we saved over $7000 from what was available close to us in South Carolina, I'm not kidding. The dealers close to us did not even act like they wanted to sell their product. It was well worth the mileage and time to travel to Ohio and pick up the unit. They installed all the necessary equipment (hitch, etc.) prior to spending all the time we needed to understand all of the systems and have everything explained to us before he we left the facility. So I've waited a bit to review this but I honestly hope it helps when dealing with RV Wholesalers. After searching long and far, RV Wholesales has the best sales price for Geo Pro 19FBS. I contact one of their sales person and informed him exactly what I wanted which they didn't have on their lot but said I could order it. After sending me information on the different options and prices I shopped around and compared. After thinking it over and the sales man being pushy I decided to pull the trigger and do the $1000 down and placed the order. He dropped the price $500 from what he originally quoted me so I did it. After placing the order, I did not hear from the sales guy or RV Wholesalers on updates unless it was them to try and push their warranty and other products on me. During this time they relaxed the updated models with front windows, roof ladder and solar being standard. I had to call and see which model I was getting and the sales guy did not know they updated their trailers. After him speaking to the factory he was able to get me answers. I had to call and check up on the trailer which had a 8-10 week time from ordering. One week before I travel 5 states to pick it up the sales guy I was talking with quit. I received no call or communication from them to inform me not check with me on the status of the trailer. Thankfully I was able to talk with another salesman and he help with the last questions before we left to go pick it up. Like I said Never received a call from a manager or anything. It appeared to be little to no management. We arrived for our pickup and during are walkthrough I noticed that the convection oven i ordered was not installed and instead the base model microwave. I asked the guy doing the walk through about it but was told to talk to them when i signed the finance paper work. When I went to finance and mentioned that I finally had a manger come and apologize about it but said there was nothing they could do but remove it from the price since it was done at the factory. It was upsetting considering this is what I request when I ordered it and the lack of communication from when the trailer arrived, they could have installed one. I even asked the salesman before we came if every option was on the trailer that I ordered and was told yes. Was also quoted $470 for a hitch that I was gonna purchase there but then when i went to purchase it, it cost $650 with tax and install. Overall the camper was in great shape with very minor issues, we got a great sale price but had to finance with their credit union to get the discounted price. The interest rates are 8-9% depending if you get a warranty. Just with if they had better communication with their sales staff to their customers it would have been a better experience. Thankfully we the buying process was about 1-2hrs and we were on the road to camp all the way back home. read more
