My experience with Haug Barron Law Group, LLC, and Katz Personal Injury Lawyers has been deeply disappointing. Communication was inconsistent, and I constantly had to push for updates. The firm arranged costly, unnecessary procedures with a lien-based doctor, which could have been covered by my insurance, leaving me with substantial bills when they abruptly withdrew from my case. I wasn't informed of their withdrawal until a text from the lien doctor canceled my appointment due to a "lack of representation." By law, I should have received a formal 10-day notice from the firm before any third party was informed. Instead, I was left embarrassed, confused, and blindsided, with no explanation for their decision. The attorney handling my case, Somalia Dixon, barely engaged, and most work was delegated to her assistant, which resulted in poor handling and lack of expertise. Overall, their actions showed a lack of integrity, empathy, and professionalism, making my case feel unimportant and leaving me to pick up the pieces. If I could give them 0 start I would, this is probably the worse experience that I had with a law firm. I got my case open with them since July 2021 for a car accident. This case should have been close a long time ago. Not a lawyer but my case was a no brainer from day 1. The lawyer that they assigned to my case quit and another lawyer took my case. It took him since July 2021 to finally settle my case on November 2023. My second lawyer quit to the firm. 'Not surprising at all' and just let me know through an email that another guy name Jeral was going to call me for my final disbursement. I reach out to that guy; he never answered my phone calls and send me another email apologizing and explaining that they were waiting on the Hospital final balance to close the case. THIS LAST EMAIL WAS ON JULY 2024. Since that date I've been waiting on my final disbursement. If you are looking for a lawyer, please think twice before choosing them. read more

This law firm has done nothing in my best interest and literally has only been working to pay themselves. Out of a terrible car accident with 5 years of treatment we ended up settling below what was told to me the entire time I was getting these painful treatments for $100,000 in April. Now it is June and they tried to get Me to release my claim and receive $1500 from the entire settlement. I had $80,000 in doctor bills and a surgery estimate for $80,000....my attorney advised me to settle and after mediation she informed me that she was leaving the firm. The attorneys have paid themselves $20,000 + expenses twice....between two law firms. I strongly advise against Kanner and Pintaluga and Haug Law Firm. These are accident mills. They don't care about your injuries or pain. All they want is to get paid. read more

I have been waiting for 2 years at this point to close out a fender bender case. I have contacted them several times over the past 2 years to get things done and have even had to step in and call my chiropractor who alerted me they were ready to close this case as well, but I am being told by this law firm that they cannot get in touch with the Dr. Every time I email or call there is an excuse. The extent they go is emails - I wish I had never hired them and just took the check from the insurance company. I feel like I have worked my own case. I really tried to give the benefit of the doubt and allow time for this to process, but 2 years is ridiculous for a case like mine. I never ever get communications unless I reach out to them, and sometimes I have to reach out more than once. This is a huge disappointment and I would never refer or hire them again. I have never had such a disappointing experience with a law firm. I do not feel important at all as a client and being that my case is pretty small I would've thought this would get done faster than the 2 years it has taken. read more

When in an accident, these attorneys only care about being paid they do not care about your injury or what is best for your case it's been 4 years of them working on my case!!!!!! I got in an accident June 2015 it's now July 2019 , and we settled four months ago and yet they're still run me with every excuse on why my case is not finalized!!! I have been turned over to at least 5 different people in the mean time I went from working with COLLIN TO MIYA TO DANIELLE TO LAKIEA TO MILLY!!!!!! And their excuse is that they no longer work there so now I have to keep reexplaining to people about my case!!! They are scammers and told me it was better to settle than to go to trail because it would be cheaper on them!!!!! So me being nice I agreed to settle having serious injuries and high hospital bills with this being my first accident and not to mention I WAS THE PASSENGER AND MY DRIVER WASNT AT FAULT and these incompetent fools said I can walk away with 1200 until I demand otherwise so it's gotten so out of hand I called only to realize my number was blocked where I went straight to voicemail until I called from an unknown number that actually connected me with from desk!!!!!
