Worst company to deal with when they lose your belongings. Their employees misplace all my kitchen utensils, including pots, pans, air fryers, vacuum, and many more items. My wife called many times and they said they don't know where it is. Obviously, it is Haulin Assets' responsibility to either replace or satisfy their customers and they haven't attempted anything to resolve this yet. I tried to do my diligence and making the right decision with the moving company and according to their reviews and everything I thought they were the best, but I was so so wrong. I hired them to move my mom. They didn't like their website shows each room individually they just stuck whatever they could in a box loaded on the truck and lost so much stuff. They even packed a bag of garbage into a box And box up a litter box with cat shit in it with the kitchen dishes my mom's memorabilia and broke several things and then told me the insurance company doesn't cover it because it's particleboard. This is horrible. The things that were missing and they said they had submitted to the insurance company that was back in Februarylate February early March and have not heard a word. If you try to give them your details upfront they won't write it down. They make you repeat yourself and when you tell them you just told them the info they are asking for they hang up. Don't leave them a bad review or they will harass you threaten you and continue to persist to make you feel like you did something wrong. Unprofessional is one thing. We booked Haulin Assets to do a move for us and while beforehand everything seemed fine, we ended up losing a sentimental item (Engagement and Wedding Ring) during the move. Under normal circumstances we would have assumed we misplaced the item and that is on us, but since we found the holding box to the rings with the rings missing we clearly knew something was wrong. We contacted Austin who checked with his team and then proceeded to tell us that while he wants to help us, there is nothing he can do since he has no proof that someone took the item even thought the missing ring and the box still being here clearly brings some suspicion. After repeatedly trying to get something done, Austin finally put in a claim for an investigation with their insurance company. They interviewed me once, and then I never heard anything again. I have contacted the Insurance company multiple times to check in and have received nothing back. It has been months and still nothing. Hauling Assets has not helped us in trying to figure out what happened to the ring. Hauling Assets has not reimbursed us for the missing ring. Hauling Assets has not even spoken to us since they made the claim with their insurance with this obviously being a very emotionally weary situation. They pride themselves on being a family moving company with empathy, but they clearly do not think that way when pressed to do the right thing and help us figure out what happened to our jewelry. Straight lies. I called them after 3:15 they didn't call me, window was 3:15-4:15. There was no elevator. One straight shot staircase, destination was ground floor lmao. I never once claimed I wanted to pay anything but what was agreed. $200 lmao, the agreement was $450. My TV is 75". Mad at everyone around me? Wtf you moved for me, what experience other than me getting pissed at you over the phone for not offered a penny discount for showing up 4 hours late and then charging me full rate for guys who worked 13 hours before lifting a finger for me. Sounds like your employees should sue you for that work environment the way you're brushing that off as though it's nothing. The whole moving process was a shit show. Lack of communication from main office to movers. 2 pick up locations before final destination. Movers picked up a new sofa and delivered it to 2nd stop. Up 2 flights of stairs , no elevator! The new leather sofa had to be taken back down to the truck because that was not the delivery location. Then, they were to take a massage chair and TV down to truck. They had NO clue how to move a massage chair. The office staff assured me they do this all the time, No Worries! WrONG! I had to call the massage chair company. They sent an email to the movers and they still didn't understand what to do. Then I had to go to Ace hardware to get tie wraps. By the time I got back they had shrink wrapped the massage chair to move it and didn't need the tie wraps. Upon final delivery to Stuart the movers didn't know how to assemble the new leather recliner sofa nor deal with the massage chair. The movers and staff were nice, but I don't want nice. Austin, the owner of this franchise is a horrible business owner and person. He disrespects his paying customers, try's to cheats them, makes personal insults and when he doesn't get his way, he is a bully. He quoted me a flat fee for disposals and instead of owning the mistake, he begin to whine about how poorly his business is doing. When I refused to pay a new rate he started to personally insults me and proceeded to tell his crew to throw everything on my front lawn. When his crew felt he was out of order and ashamed of his behavior, he said "I don't give a shit, either throw it out or it is coming out of your pay". His business is apparently failing because he is incompetent and is better suited to work in a cubical not engaging with other humans. read more

I was very happy w. Haulin Assets, who I used for a long-distance move, FL-NM. I had gotten 3 or 4 estimates and theirs was the best. Everything was done as promised and delivery was on schedule. It is important that they used their own truck with only my things inside, so I did not have to be concerned about deliveries to other people whose stuff might also be on the same truck. They did lose/misplace the screws to a bookcase, which made the case useless. After reporting this they bought and shipped a new bookcase to me, which was the right thing to do. But other truckers, especially big outfits might not have behaved the same and with no hassle. read more

First off, let me state that this is not a "Fake" review. 100% legit, here! :) I cannot exclaim enough about the amazing jobs (three of them) Haulin' Assets Moving has done for us!!! We first discovered this company through a referral from an antiques furniture store dealer, whom we had made a purchase from and we needed the pieces delivered to our home, as we couldn't do it ourselves. He recommended Haulin' Assets Moving, which we called, and, thus, had our initial introduction with the owner, Austin Graham. They got the pieces to us in no-time at a very reasonable price. As it turned out, we were also in the preliminary stages of buying a condo (as we were downsizing from a house), and since they did such a fine job with the furniture delivery, we asked Austin for a quote to move our single-level, family home to a multi-level condo. The price was very reasonable! We didn't need to waste time trying to get multiple quotes -- an especially frustrating task in South Florida!!! -- as their quote was right in-line with what we had anticipated (we've done quite a number of moves over the years!). The detailing of the move would take-up all of my Yelp! review space; but, let me say that it was NOT an easy move from Home to Condo! (Naturally, our newly-purchased condo had to be the one all the way at the far end! Poor guys!!!) I cannot tell you how awesome this crew was in getting everything done in one day! The entire move went flawlessly, even with the numerous restrictions set-up by the HOA pertaining to moves! My husband and I were extremely (!!) happy with the efficiency of the packing/unpacking and both moves. Jump to a year later, and we've decided to retire permanently to our home in Bucksport, ME (a 1,700+ mile distance from Hollywood, FL!). We did our due diligence in obtaining a price-range for the move from FL to ME. (Naturally, this was not going to be cheap!) We didn't know if Austin's company did interstate moves; but, it didn't hurt to ask. Long story, short, Austin and his Haulin' Assets Moving Co. gave us a competitive price, and did the move to Bucksport, ME, flawlessly! (I'm talking that Austin, himself, and one of his workers did the drive and move!) Now, we have a lot of valuable mid-century modern furniture pieces and artwork, and, knowing how well they moved us before, we had the utmost confidence that Austin and his crew would do a great job packing and, ultimately, getting our stuff in one-piece from Hollywood to Bucksport. In a word GREAT, I was randomly recommended to this company through a face book group I am in and boy am I happy I choose them. First off, they were the only company I spoke with that did not have any hidden fees or additional charges beyond a very reasonable travel charge, all other companies that quoted me tried to hide additional fees and did not mention them unless I asked directly. We phone representatives we spoke with were friendly and we were able to book our move almost exclusively online (which is great with a busy schedule) We knew our move would be very straight forward as we were moving out of a small first floor unit into another first floor within a short distance and took extra time to package and sort all of our belongings before our move date. The two movers were prompt, friendly and wasted no time before getting after it. They made us feel very comfortable and their enjoyable presence made the day that much smoother. I don't plan on moving again any time soon, but if i did I would 100% hire Haulin assets again. read more

I would not recommend a move with Haulin Assets. Despite their cute tagline--"We always use protection"--this clearly was not the case with our belongings, which were handled roughly and carelessly, leading to much damage, including irreparably torn chairs and a gashed wardrobe, and at least four furniture pieces with missing and/or broken legs. One chest of drawers had a broken door; a shelving unit arrived with a missing shelf; the movers also failed to attach our mirror to the chest; we had to pay an outside handyman to do this. Despite FRAGILE labels, boxes were handled and placed every which way, including upside down, which caused certain lotions and paints to spill, damaging the contents around them. They said they would be back on a second trip to attach the mirror and then never contacted us again. What's worse is the lack of accountability from the company, which did not bother responding to our messages addressing these concerns, preferring to simply wash their hands of us. I was in need of a moving company, I did my shopping around looking for a good company. I went on google and read quite a lot of reviews on moving companies and I was shocked at what people go through with these companies. Beware of companies that lowball the price only to slap on extra charges the day of the move. Speaking of the day of the move in some of the reviews I read the moving companies didn't even bother to show up. Also, one of the tricks they pull is they ask for a 50% deposit and the rest on delivery ( Question what Delivery means ) is it at the  CURBSIDE or unloaded and set up inside your house. I got quotes from 3 different companies first quote was a virtual walkthrough and the other two came out to my house. The first quote gave me a great price, just for what my furniture weighed, and led me to believe that would be the final price. On reading this company's reviews I realized there were all these hidden fees they were going to slap on at the end, for example wrapping the beds boxing the tv,  including gas, mileage, and many other fees they don't tell you about. They wanted a 50% deposit upfront and the rest on delivery. Delivery was questionable was it inside or outside the house before they got paid. The second quote was twice the price and I could tell by the wording of the contract that extra charges would be slapped on after loading all the furniture. They also demanded a 50% deposit and the rest on delivery at CURBSIDE. I urge everybody to understand what curbside means, this is where they can hold your furniture hostage until you pay Upon doing more research on this company I was horrified at all the bad reviews. The Third company was Hauling Assets which came out to my house to give me a quote it was Austin the owner. I interviewed him and asked him plenty of relevant questions, I was concerned about what I had learned from all the reviews I had read, my biggest concern did he deliver and unpack and reassemble everything inside the house. He assured me his way of doing business was nothing like all these big companies. Austin was in my house for about 2 and a half hours. We kind of interviewed each other, he cataloged all my furniture and in great detail went over what I could expect. I had concerns about all my antiques and he assured me they would be delivered safely.  Austin only asked for a $100 deposit and the rest on completion of the JOB (unpacked and assembled inside the house)  We agreed on a set price upon delivery and setup. In my opinion, when a company asks for a small deposit they are confident in their ability and have confidence in their employees, and stand behind their profession proudly. This was one of the leading factors of why I hired Hauling Assets. I found them on Thumbtack and they had nothing but good reviews. But everybody on Thumbtack has good reviews so I went onto google reviews and there was nothing but rave reviews. The day before the move I got a call confirming the arrival time of Hauling Assets. The next morning they showed up on time and set about doing their work. There were 5 guys and 2 trucks and they all worked hard for about 11 hours with a half-hour break for lunch. They took their time wrapping all the antiques very carefully. They were friendly and respectful, they worked together as a very good team. The team members were Chris, Gerry, Steven, Athol, and George. Overall they did a fantastic job nothing was damaged. I got the white-glove treatment from Austin and his team, I believe everybody gets the same treatment. I will recommend Hauling Assets to my family, friends, and work associates. Hauling assets moving, can't haul their own asses. I hired them after reading the reviews on Uhaul website. I don't understand the glowing reviews (probably fake). These guys were Lazy bunch, neither brawn nor brain. Turned out a 2 hour job into 4 hours and still didn't complete. The main reason for hiring them was to move the furniture and big items, but these idiots left it at the end and didn't finish. I live in condominium and after 5 pm they don't allow to use the elevator for moving. I had told these guys beforehand but they were laid back and kept complaining that they had to walk to the truck etc. After 2 hours 3rd guy joined yet they couldn't finish. I had to do some of the work after they left and hurt my back. Because we emptied the shelves and dressers, stuff was on the floor, they used that as an excuse that there were obstacles which is not true. Also they snapped pictures of my apartment without permission to send to their manager so that they can get 3rd guy to bill me up. I lost lot of money without moving completel and had to take crap from our condo manager. Stay away from these guys. read more
