The first day of the move was great. But we asked for 3 people to help and only 2 came, so they charged us a lot more hours and a whole extra day. This was the most expensive move we have ever had to pay for, and not to say the most disorganized. On the second day, my mirror disappeared and a glass table top broke. They dented our staircase wall bringing furniture up the stairs and damaged some of my furniture as well. Weeks after, I went to move my ottoman and I saw that the wheel had broken off and they had taped it together for us not to realize it. It was in perfect condition before the move, but the issue wasn't even that they broke it, it's the fact that they were dishonest not to tell me when it happened. Bed frames weren't well assembled and parts went missing. We were hesitant about hiring them because of the way they responded to complaints and bad reviews online. But now, I know I just should've gone with another company instead. We took long to write the review because they kept saying they would fix everything, but never did. Every week we find more damage that was made during the move. Never again. read more

BEWARE. Booked a local move of a small 1 BR apartment. Business owner Michael estimated 3 hours of labor by 2 of his workers. However, only one did any work and the other spent the whole time in my bedroom with the door closed not doing anything except disassembling my bed (which should have taken 20-30 minutes at most). Once we got to my new apartment, I found that they misplaced the hardware to the bed. They threatened and intimidated me, denying that the hardware was ever there, saying such things as "are you calling me a liar? Do you want to start something?". They left without finishing the reassembly, and the move ended up taking 5 hours because only one of the two was working. After being intimidated, I signed the charge authorization under coercion for the labor which was not actually performed just so they would leave. Michael later committed to come and finish reassembling the bed but never showed up. I assembled it myself. He offered to reimburse me for my time but also reneged on that commitment as well. Shockingly inappropriate behavior from the workers and very unprofessional and discourteous management. read more

I had little time to move into my new apartment, as I got a job promotion working at a different location, so i was not prepared to move at all. I called around but I felt that most companies that I spoke with wanted to take advantage of the situation I was in, with the prices and the extras they said I needed. Called Insta Movers and spoke to Jessica, she was attentive to my needs as well as aware of my situation and worked with me with that in mind. That being said I was surprised at how fast they moved me out, and the movers were awesome, positive vibes from all of them, they always made sure to be on the same page, I noticed that from the beginning of the day till the end. Everything went as planned and three men helped me move my things on short notice. One of three guys was the owner of the business and upon finishing the job asked for payment with his square credit swipe. Upon reaching for my purse I had realized my rings I had attached to my lv clutch on the kitchen counter were missing. It was irresponsible of me to have left my wallet out and including my diamond engagement and wedding rings out, however stolen items right under my nose is shocking. I was in complete disbelief and asked politely if he had seen my rings and denied it and asked the other two movers outside to which was also denied. I could not believe this was happening and I was alone with two toddlers running around I was assured by him that all were willing to do a polygraph. I should have called police right there but was terrified as it was just me and my two kids and I didn't want to jeopardize them. They still wanted payment for their work so I paid them and the investigator has been forced to close the case as the owner of the company refuses to give the employees names and addresses and he himself no showed on his appointment for the investigator. He claims to have lost his phone and record of the names and addresses of those two employees. It sucks but this happened don't trust anyone even if its literally right under your nose. read more

They came promptly but brought 5-6 people, so that everything was chaotic. Their packing was excellent. However, they banged up woodwork in getting things out of the house. They kept a piece of equipment "by mistake" and said they would refund our money and didn't. All-in-all, I wouldn't use them again. read more

Find another mover! Out of desperation, because the several movers I contacted were booked on the date I needed, I contacted MJ. Michael immediately came out to give me an estimate and told me it would most likely take approximately 4 hours to move my one bedroom condo with three guys. Michael also said he would be one of the movers. On move day, three men showed up; one big guy who stayed in the condo and wrapped my furniture, one smaller guy in his 20's (Kenny?)who was moving the items, and one really old, feeble man who basically stood around and complained about an ear infection. In the end, poor Kenny basically moved every item by himself. I even gave the old man Advil to help his pain so he would stop standing around holding his ear. At one point, the old man was standing in my new condo eating a pizza that he had delivered and letting it drop on the floor. In the end, after almost 9 HOURS of moving, the big guy was finishing up, asked me to take a look at my things to make sure everything was in order before signing off for payment. I noticed my bedroom furniture was dented up and showed it to him. All of my furniture was less than a year old, delivered to my previous condo from the store, not a mark on anything. So I showed him the dents and told him these were the only items that were not wrapped and they are ruined. He was talking to Michael on the phone and Michael said he could come out and take a look at it but he was very busy with moves. I finally nailed down a time with him but he never showed or called. They tried to charge me a little over a thousand dollars to move a one bedroom condo. I said no way, that isn't even close to the estimate I was given. When he realized I was paying via credit card he also tried to charge me 5%. I refused. In the end, I paid over $850 for a move that should have taken 4 hours tops. And I have damaged furniture that they never bothered to compensate me for. Do yourself a favor and use someone else. These guys are not reputable. read more
