During the lash application, the technician repeatedly stopped to answer the phone and handle front desk duties. She also took a personal phone call and spoke directly into my ear while applying my lashes, which was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. When I expressed my concerns, I was told she was the only person available to manage both services and the front desk. If that's the case, management needs to staff appropriately so clients receive the experience they're paying for. This was not relaxing or acceptable. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place. I previously left this same review on another platform and it was removed, which is also concerning.

The place is located in the Carle Place Shopping Center where Stop & Shop, Barnes and Noble and Kura Sushi are. Upon arrival, the lady greeted me and confirmed my phone number. Then, she showed me the different types of eyelash and informed me that my Groupon is for 60 pieces. The waiting area was very nice with a bench as well as a drinks station with tea and coffee. Once I chose the eyelash, she guided me inside to another room where there were 5 beds. There was another technician working on a client already. I placed my jacket and bag in the box at the end of the end. Then I informed her I wanted a natural look and she told me to choose between the 10, 11 and 12 lengths. I'm happy with the 12 I chose. She was very quick/efficient and I out a tad before the hour mark. As a first time client, I was provided a welcome kit with a eyelash wand and coupon for next time. $80 for 3 weeks follow up appointment and $100 for a new set. The location is very clean and large. My lash technician was very nice and did my lashes in like an hour. I had the mink lash package and paid an extra $20 for more lashes. I left happy with the result and tipped her well. 3 days laters, my eyelash extension started falling off on my right eye, literally patches. Then I started noticing patches on my left eye. I do my lashes pretty often so I know how to care for them and they usually last 3-4 weeks. I message Grace and told her what was happening and she told me to come in to get them fixed. Since I do not live near my boyfriend's job which means I'm not near the lash spot, I drove an hour and 15 minutes to get there during rush hour. Grace fixed my lashes; although not giving an explanation why they were falling out after a few days. I thought the issue was fixed until today; it has been less than a week and I have patches on both eyes. At this point I'm extremely upset and will not be returning. I was very impressed and happy that I tried this location out as I feel the look matched the prestige awards event. Know that after your first discounted session [Groupon or new customer] you are given a customer card to come back for your future touchups at different prorated % off your selected service. Just note that 'cash is king' or queen in this case as if you need to pay with credit the fee gets passed onto you. The first time I paid cash, second with my card and was charged the $5 fee. No problem this time, but definitely noted as with the cash I had on me I wanted to assure gratuity was definitely pass to the technician that way. All in all a great experience for something that really lasted longer than any other application that I have tried in the past. I went for the touch up about 3wks later and probably could have easily gone a month. There is a Spanish-looking lady that also works here who was in the middle of doing lashes last time but was able to tint my brows and they came out nice. I would recommend her. I apologize for not knowing names! The front desk woman was clearly very sick when I came into the store but was still there being trained. Not sure why the business would risk clients getting sick. Lastly, I am not sure if the owner is a woman with short hair who brings her daughter to the shop, but she is very rude. For those reasons, I will not be returning.

I went about two weeks ago for lash extensions. I was very hopeful as I had previously gotten my browns threaded here and had a nice experience with that. I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS. I can say with certainty that the ladies doing the extensions are not licensed. I was first told I needed to strip off the old set of lashes I had. This process left my eyes burning and red for days. The lashes were nice to look at but it soon became apparent that the lady had glued them DIRECTLY TO MY SKIN. To make it worse they were obviously glued to multiple of my lashes as well as multiple false lashes. Again I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt as I never want to make waves. However, a few days ago my lashes started falling out in clumps and I developed a stye. I called last night and was very reasonable, I wanted to speak with the manager and she wasn't available so I left a message and was told I'd be called back today. Never got a call so I called, I was told the manager wasn't in. I expressed how disappointed I was and midway through speaking I could hear the manager in the background coaching the lady on the phone to tell me I'm making it up and it's not their fault and I would not be receiving any compensation.
