They offer chocolate wax as opposed to hard wax and have one suite. I asked if they double dip and I was told if I call ahead they can change the wax for me. (It is a small wax pot). She did not double dip the sticks when applying was to my underarms she also had what it looks like roll on wax applicators which isn't the most hygienic. Wax was not painful as I anticipated since chocolate is still a strip wax (use of cloth and softer wax) and all hair was removed quickly and efficiently. Skin was not lifted. Will inspect underarm when I get home. Went back day after and did brows. Came out really really well! Will be back!

I have been researching Queens stylists that silk press natural hair with Edward scissor hand skills for months. A good friend researched Polish on Yelp and was styled by Keith and I was convinced I should visit for my silk press and trim. Immediately when I arrived, I was satisfied with the ambiance of the salon. Clean and spacious. There were a few clients ahead of my appointment time, so Keith kindly introduced himself and explained that his assistant David would take me to the sink to wash my hair. What followed was pure bliss. David was a sweetheart. Highly entertaining and has magic hands. My shampoo scalp massage was a answer to a prayer! He washed my hair thoroughly and used great products. He did not struggle to detangle my hair so my blow out was seamless. He took his time and the service was worth every penny spent. Best shampoo I've ever had. The products used on my hair were great. Not heavy or cheap. Keith silk pressed me and trimmed my hair for the Grand Finale to give it dimension and body. The results were exactly what I desired. They cut me up. I asked for wax and she waxed then threaded. Threading is always painful and I was hoping to avoid that, but she just started going. After the service, I did feel some stinging but thought that to be normal. Stinging after a wax isn't out of the ordinary. A day later I noticed the scars on my skin. I got the service on Sunday and I'm writing this on Tuesday. Some of the scarring has gone away but I shouldn't have been cut up in the first place. I'm never returning.

I sporadically get my brows threaded because I think it's inhumane (FYI I also think plucking is a little cruel too) but lasts a really long time. They are simply furnished like most threading places. I have been growing out my brows. So I told her that I wanted a nice arch and she went to work trimming, threading and shaping my brows. When she was done my brow area was on fire but looked really good. I will definitely be back in the name of vanity and convenience but not pleasure lol.
