Based on the good reviews, I tried to arrange an appointment - twice - with Tamara. I called during business hours, got a recording, and left a detailed message with my name, telephone number, and the services I wanted to book. No response - no return call, nada. A week later, I tried again. Same result. I can only assume she has all the business she wants and has no need for my custom. It would be courteous to leave that message on her recording or her website; like "Not accepting new clients at this time," or something, rather than just ignoring calls. I found out about Hautedwaxxed through a Groupon. I normally go to the city to get a Brazilian. But I thought I would try somewhere closer to home. I'm glad I did! Tammy, the owner, is very personable. Her shop is clean. I received a Brazilian and an eyebrow wax. Tammy was quick but very thorough. I'm completely satisfied with both services. "Tammy" is amazing. You have to go to her. I was so scared of waxing after a bad experience at a nail shop, I finally decided to find someone who specialized in waxing. Tammy does an amazing overall job. She makes you feel so comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. She is friendly and clean. Another good thing is that she has a way to waxing too where she makes you feel the least pain possible and before you know it you will be all finished. Also, I love her room and appointment set up. You will be the only one in the room while getting waxed. You don't have to worry about different people walking in and out. Appointments are spread out so by the time you are finished the next appointment has not yet arrived. She is also very well organized with her appointments and remaining you about your appointment. She does every type of waxing for any type of skin. Stop going to nail shops where the workers are unexperienced and end up burning you or don't clean well. I highly recommend Tammy. MY FIRST BRAZILIAN!! I bought a groupon for Hautewaxxed and kept it forever because I always siked myself out because of horror stories. I finally called Tammy for an appt, she was very nice and professional. Once I got to my appt, she was very welcoming and genuine. MY HANDS WERE SWEATING FROM NERVOUSNESS. She assured me all would be fine. She talked to me the whole time and kept my mind off the mild pain. She NEVER double dipped and was done within 25min start to finish. She is also really good on informing her customers on after care procedures. I love that she is close to home and I don't have to travel far!
