Best coffee within 2500 miles! So delicious and fast service. Super cute ambiance as well

We were in the area and decided to try this place out. It's a cute place with tables inside. If it's your first time they offer a complimentary cafecito cubano. We are familiar with Cuban coffee from having it up north and in Miami. We had Cafe Bombón, tres leches cake, guava pastry and lemon cake. The cafecito cubano was good and the Cafe Bombón was good. The only thing we thought would have been better is to serve the Cafe Bombom in a glass cup/glass. Presentation sometimes is important and serving it in a plastic cup kinda takes away from it. The tres leche cake was good, the guava pastry was not. Lacked the filling and then it was wrapped in plastic so the humidity made it most. These guava pastries are meant to be flaky and with more guava. The service was good and staff were nice. May come back for coffee. read more

Just happened to drive by here one today and decided to stop in. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The owner Mary was there at the time she was so sweet and personable. She really made the experience. They have a white chocolate raspberry specialty drink we absolutely fell in love with. We also got the mazapan latte which was delicious. Definitely our new coffee spot. The owner was telling us how they discover new recipes and even found their coffee beans. They have chess there to play while you enjoy your coffee and plants that make it feel homey. They even have coffee and refreshers premade and ready to go! I would definitely recommend this place and we will be back shortly. read more

Their customer service is top tier. That's a big deal for me as I've not experienced a lot of good service since moving to NC !!! Went to get my guy a coffee and I decided to try the flavor of the month but in a hot chocolate!!! Love that they will do that for us non coffee drinkers! It's a super cute shop. Nice clean location with cozy nook atmosphere. The pricing is definitely higher than typical Cuban spots in Charlotte where coffee is $2, but I figure it is all due to location. Definitely not a kid friendly place. Iced drinks and smoothie tasted bland. You can tell the muffins are from Sam's club. Crazy that it costs almost 4$-5$ a piece. Tres leches cakes were a bit dry. Workers don't seem very welcoming, felt bad vibes from them. Definitely not coming back. read more

Came in to grab a coffee and got so much more.. first let me say the staff was friendly and very helpful! Since it was my very first visit they gave me sample of Cuban coffee.. very strong but very good!! I ordered a caramel macchiato and took in the ambiance of the shop! The owner was doing a pour over coffee sampling at a table. I was told that for a fee per person the owner has these tastings once in awhile. I'd love to get to do that one day!!it's a very welcome different coffee place in our neighborhood! They also have smoothies and food items like pastries and such.. Hoo bah broke da mouth The place is really nice and well kept. Both lattes are buss, especially with the toasted marshmallow cold foam, the tres leches is alright but the lattes are buss... both ladies are really nice, when I ordered the drumstick latte it was a little too strong for me so I asked if I can get it sweetened and if I can add the cold foam they were so kind to say yes and on top of that they gave the cold foam for free. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Decided to try this place for the first time today. I am very impressed. The free Cuban coffee shot is absolutely amazing and their Vanilla Cinnamon Iced Coffee is also fantastic. I will definitely be returning to this place multiple times. The workers are very nice and super polite. The ambiance is very nice. Great decor and cozy little cafe. Probably some of the best coffee we've tried.The coffee is perfect! Not overly sweet like other coffee shops. The sweets are also incredible! The service is equally great! So, they recently moved from their location off Piney Green to a new spacious location off Henderson. Their coffee is the best in town! If you're looking for a quality cup of coffee or something a little more special like a macchiato, this is your spot! It's also perfect for a quick dessert spot! They have Blue Bell Ice Cream that you can add coffee too! Or you can grab one of their specialty desserts, like their Havana Cake! Hidden gem drive-thru coffee shop with delicious treats & drinks! I've been making an effort to hit all of the (what I like to call) "boutique" coffee shops in and around Jacksonville. This one has been my absolute favorite so far, even if it is a bit of a trek from where I'm located. I got an iced Italian (which I thought was strange considering it's a Cuban place but hey, who I am to judge?) Hot Chocolate with espresso, and it was absolutely divine. I'm not a fan of sugary drinks usually, but it was the perfect pick-me-up for after work: sweet, creamy, and rich with chocolate. I practically chugged it before even leaving the parking lot. And don't get me started on the guava & cheese pastelillos, I was so excited to see these on the menu and even more excited when I realized they tasted just like the ones my friend's Puerto Rican mother used to make -- I wasn't sure I'd ever have them again after moving here from California. My girlfriend and I are coffee lovers, and this was our favorite coffee place in all of Jacksonville. Not only could we get an authentic Cuban coffee, which I'd put right up there with everything we've had in Miami, but the owner is also in love with coffee, and you can tell he really enjoys his craft, and that's reflected in the drinks they serve. We got two small Cuban coffees and a cappuccino, and everything was very good. I also really liked that the cappuccino was not some 12 or 16 ounce monster. Havana 58 is becoming one of my favorites for this side of town. The staff is friendly, coffee is rich, and the cafe is a nice little place to chill and meet with folks. $$ is gonna be an issue most anywhere these days. What a great little drive through to get your coffee fix. Conveniently located on piney green road in Jacksonville, North Carolina, perfect for your morning or afternoon pick me up. The staff is super nice and helpful to navigate the menu if needed. I had the Cortadito Cubano. The espresso is tasty and the added sugar makes it even better. My wife had the Espresso Iced Cuban Coffee. She would probably take an extra shot in her next one or just ask for less water, still an overall good drink. We tried the Tres leches cake... Great coffee with great flavor. Saw this place while driving by and had to turn around and try it. The iced mocha was good, and strong. When drinking a coffee or espresso drink I love when you can actually taste the espresso, and I felt like I could. My sons had their wild berry smoothie that was made with actual fruit. So good! They offer punch cards for frequent buyers and were super fast when making the drink. I will be back here when I head back to Jacksonville. read more

I got a mochaccino and 2 guava and cheese pastries, which was all good, but the pricing is crazy. I was handed a menu, without them telling me that the prices weren't updated on it until after I was paying! The coffee was right, but the pastries were $3 on the menu, then ended up being 8 freakin' dollars! They were good, but that price is a ridiculous sham. This is an adorable free standing, side of the road coffee stand. It's extraordinary because they even do specialty coffee and fancy coffee like cortados and affagatos. I went to Cuba in 2017 for a mission trip, and most of the houses we went to they offered us "cafe"!! I have longed for the taste of that coffee because it was a small shot but always perfect, and we never had to add cream or sugar. We took it as it, and it gave a boost of energy.
