    Lechon asada
    Megan D.

Incredible. Staff were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. I haven't had extensive exposure to Cuban food, but it all seemed authentic and the flavors blew us away. Started with the ceviche, served with crispy plantain chips and a couple of mojito flights. Ceviche was bright and fresh, with lots of lime. Mojitos were light and fruity, though I would probably just try a signature cocktail in the future. Mains were the lechon asada and the taste of Cuba, though we did sub yellow rice instead of white rice, which was definitely the right choice. The lechon was fall apart tender, and incredibly rich with fat, so the pickled onions and rice/beans it was served with really helped to cut through what might otherwise be really heavy. The picadillo beef and pulled pork were good, but the ropa vieja was excellent. Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Havana and I wish I didn't live in another state.

    Cubano and tostones

Stopped here with friends on a Saturday for some lunch. Two of us ordered the Cubano sandwich with tostones, and another vegetarian friend got a veggie plate with maduros. Service was fast and efficient, and the interior of the restaurant is well-decorated and charming. My friend and I agreed that the Cubano was good, but not exactly what we expected. There seemed to be some kind of shredded beef (maybe ropa vieja) in the sandwich, which is not what I'm used to. I didn't mind it, but it was a little saltier than I prefer, and IMHO, overshadowed the mustard, pickles, and ham. Aside from the sandwich, the tostones were nice and crispy and came with a garlic-oil dipping sauce. I was full after eating half the sandwich and tostones, so I had leftovers for dinner. The price was pretty reasonable--I believe with tip I paid around $16-17 dollars. Although the sandwich didn't totally scratch the itch, I'd come back again to try their other dishes, as well as their Happy Hour specials.

The food at this place was fantastic! Everything had so much flavor with good portions. No complaints with that. My complaint would be about our waitress and the price for some of the items. Our waitress wasn't very attentive or accommodating. The building itself was pretty cool though. Dispute the waitress, I would eat here again.

YUM! The chicken sandwich here was SO GOOD. Bread was extremely fresh. Cuban sampler plate was a great way to get a taste of everything. Maduros were definitely my favorite!!! The orange sauce from the sampler was great to dip my sandwich in. Service was good, they have a nice sized restaurant and lovely patio area. My only complaint here is our water had the weirdest after taste and was hard to drink. Other than that, great place!

I was told about this restaurant so my family and I decided to give it shot , I love Cuban sandwiches , Let's start with the service, it was excellent fast , very courteous, very attentive. The restaurant was clean and music was at a comfortable set not to loud or not to low , perfect , the patio floor and tables were also clean , restrooms clean also. Now for the Food Part, we ordered the Ceviche Appetizer was delicious, we ordered a Mojito sampler which was great , For the Main course we ordered Cuban sandwich , Lechon Asado with sautéed veggies and congrì rice with tostones and Arros con pollo. Food came out fast , Hot and delicious........Chico Mira tu sabes, Delicious, so if you are on the Rogers area this is must visit, you will love it.. 203 N 2nd Street Rogers, AR 72756

Wow, what a find. I haven't had Cuban food like this since I lived in Atlanta. The ceviche is incredible and a must order anytime you're here. We have the mojito flight and each mojito was fresh and delicious, but the coconut mojito easily wins. The cubano sandwich was very good (I prefer a bit more mustard on mine but that's just a preference) with fresh bread and tasty meat. This place is an absolute winner and a gem in Rogers and NWA.

As former South Florida residents, we've had our share of incredible Cuban food -- so when we spotted Havana's in Rogers, AR, we were skeptical it could compare. We were very wrong. This place is legit. The flavors, the quality, the consistency -- Havana's delivers every single time. It's become a regular stop for us, and we keep going back because the food is just that good. The Cuban sandwich is spot on. The Cuban sampler gives you a taste of several favorites, and the lechón asado is my personal go-to -- tender, seasoned perfectly, and full of flavor. The vibe is relaxed and unpretentious, but don't let that fool you -- the food will impress you. Even my son is a fan (he's all about the empanadas), and this place has become a family favorite. Havana's gets a solid 5/5. If you're in the area and craving Cuban, this is the spot. Great job, Havana's -- we're glad you're here!

Oh yeah!!! We were craving Cuban food being from southern Cali we found a nice one here in Arkansas with this location. It was my mother n father in law's first time ever having Cuban food n they really enjoyed the food n the servers were so nice n helpful with our choices. Shrimp empanada was off the hook, bistec with rice with black beans yummy for my tummy, chicken fried rice was yummy according to my mother in law, wife enjoyed her chicken dish n my father in law who does not like rice all that much finished the rice mixed with black beans that came with with steak n shrimp. We had a lovely meal n they have plenty of seats inside n outside. Look forward to going back on our next visit to the natural state!!!! Oh yeah, their fried plantains were the best I've had!!!!

Havana Tropical Grill was pretty slammed for a Monday night. Service could have came by more often but he seemed stretched. We started with a Dark and Stormy. It was tasty, haven't had one since visiting Hawaii so brought back some memories. We also had the empanadas and croquetas. The empanada was pretty good, and was large. I would skip the croquetas. I had the taste of Cuba. It is a large portion which allowed you try a bunch of their dishes. I liked the concept but the food just wasn't really warm enough. I also got the rum sampler. I know my rum and if you do too I would skip it. Not the best selection but again like the concept.

Went here for lunch while visiting friends that bought a house here. They've been here many times and spoke highly of it. We were greeted by Daisy who was fabulous, friendly , efficient . We placed 3 orders to share: empanadas , cubano sandwich, lechone asada and plantains. The food did not disappoint . If you're looking for Cuban food in Roger's this is THE place.

4/22/26 This family…read moreowned business was highly recommended by a local friend and I had promised to check this place out the next time I was in town. Well Yelpers, I've found my new fave Northwest Arkansas restaurant! TBH, I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived. It looked like a modernized restaurant with an open kitchen. I opened the door to the restaurant and waited to check in and a handsome young boy asked if I had reservations and I advised I didn't and he asked if I wanted to sit indoor or outdoor. He grabbed a menu and helped me to my table. I was quickly greeted by a staff member and given a glass of water and was told that there isn't an assigned server but that multiple staff members will work together to attend my table. After eating American and Italian food all week on my business travels, I was craving some authentic simple home cooked food and this location brought me virtually home for dinner. For those of you that know me or have been following my review journey, have gotten to know my household ethnicities. When I saw the House 1830 Menu, it was a delightful mix of Vietnamese and Laotian food! The color purple was present from accent walls by the kitchen to my cloth napkin on the plate sets, to the "seasonal" menu font color all tie together with staff uniforms including the outdoor purple umbrella above the outdoor seating space. They even have custom pillows on the bench seating with the House 1830 logos. Susana, one of the owners came to greet me and asked if I've been here before or if it's my first time. She shared that her husband Binh was the head chef today and many patrons typically think it's a fusion restaurant but it's really a family inspired menu that keeps the food as authentic as possible. Binh is Vietnamese and their sister in law Bé is Laotian. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Bé as she was celebrating her birthday elsewhere as she should. Susana shared that her contribution is the inspired cocktail menu...which had so many yummy options that you don't see anywhere else. They had a Lychee Martini on the menu but I see it often everywhere so I ordered the Longan Martini to try and it was delish! I started with my roots and ordered a Vietnamese House Sampler described as a sampling of the crowd favorite starters. Cha Gio | Mini Banh Xeo | Bo Xien Tam for $21. The eggrolls were crispy and had the right amount of filling well seasoned, the Bite-size Banh Xeo shrimp crepes was light and the flash fried marinated beef skewers were seasoned to perfection with a family marinade. Lettuce, cilantro, mint along with the various nuoc cham (dipping sauces) were great! I didn't want to fill up as I wanted one of my favorite Lao dishes Nam Khao - Crispy red curry seasoned rice combined with small chunks of cured pork, and spices. It comes with lettuce, mint, cilantro where you can eat it like a lettuce wrap or eat it as is like fried rice for $18. This light entree for me hit the spot. The staff was exceptional, occasionally stopping g by to check if my water was ok or if I needed anything. I went to check out the bathroom to wash my hands and thought the wall murals were trendy and happy to see the restrooms were clean. I stopped at the open kitchen and complimented the chef and his staff on my delicious meal. They were very cheery and thankful for the compliment. Went back to my table and contemplated another cocktail or dessert but I was really beyond stuffed and figured I'll be back and to save options for my next visit. Chef Binh stopped by my table and we started talking about a little of everything. The restaurant concept, the seasonally inspired menu and to keep things fun for regular diners, shhhh....you didn't hear it from me...but there's even a secret menu that changes often! You'll have to ask or sign up to get the details! You don't get many seasonal menu options from Asian restaurants so I love that they have a seasonal menu and a secret one that only the special members know about! Come check out House 1830! You will not be disappointed yes, I'll be back to visit Binh, Susana and team! Thanks for the hospitality! Thank you, Zerric for the best recommendation! Xoxo

The food has incredible depth of flavor and is perfectly cooked with so much care and intention. We shared the combo appetizer, Tiger Steak, a soup, and the curry salmon. Every single dish was absolutely divine. The flavors were bold, balanced, and truly memorable. The staff was just as impressive as the food. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. This will absolutely be the place I bring out of town guests when I want to wow them.

Literally across the street from the very first Walmart (Walton's), and whether you love 'em or hate 'em, it's pretty cool history. The food, you ask? Fabulous!!! The chips were homemade and crispy, with the house salsa being fabulous, we got their HOT salsa as well, which was super flavorful, but certainly not hot. Of course we started with Margaritas (The Hollywood), which infused pineapple into the drink and I could have downed 5. Had to drive back to the hotel, so one was sufficient. Yum! I had the Curry Chicken Burrito... what???! Curry in a burrito?? Incredible!! My compadre had some sort of chicken tostada thing that was also a hit. The ambience was upscale modern, but not too flashy with plenty of room between the tables. A gigantic thanks to Rosa for turning the 4.5 stars into 5!
