Loved it! We came here for dinner on a whim as we were looking for nearby restaurants and I'm glad we did! It has some elements of familiar Mexican restaurants but they definitely have their own take on some menu items, including their cocktails. To drink, I had the Jalapeño Sandia, which was delicious and refreshing. Their drinks have multiple size options to meet whatever experience you're intending to have. I'm always a fan of good fish tacos, so I had to give theirs a try. I appreciate that you have the option of grilled or breaded. I went with breaded and they were very good. It comes with an orange sauce on the side that's pretty spicy but not overly so for my taste. It also comes with a side of rice and beans and I really loved the beans, a bit different than the typical I have most places. The staff was also friendly with prompt service as well. All I can say is if you think this place is good you should have your head examined. Let's start with it's a freezer hole and miserableness starts when you walk in. Then there is the food and it just is horrible. Salsa is so bland and has no flavor at all. Chips left my hands smelling like a greasy sewer. We are regulars! We've taken family and friends several times and everyone loved the food. Fresh guac and salsa, great loaded queso, and I love the Manny's. This is the least expensive Mexican restaurant in Rogers, good service, and I've never had anything bad on the menu at all. Live music is usually good (one time meh) but it's a great atmosphere. Lots of big parties there, and the bar is always full. If you go after 7pm, be expecting to wait for a table. We always go earlier. They do have a happy hour, outside seating if you want. Went here for the first time since they opened several months ago and was very impressed with the food and service. Our server Ricardo was very helpful and even allowed us to order an à la carte item not on the menu. They have a mild salsa which is truly excellent and a slightly spicier tomatillo salsa with a unique flavor. We ordered the queso with beef and you could tell it was made in house. The tortilla soup was delicious as were the poblano fajitas. The ambience is above average for a local mexican restaurant and wasn't too loud. I will definitely be back in the near future! read more

I was really hopeful for this place, the look was nice and my kids seemed to like it but I was just so so disappointed. I have never had rice and beans this bland before! Just about any other Mexican restaurant In NWA has better rice! My daughter didn't finish her meal because of that. It looked like just about any other basic Mexican place but the prices for this quality? Absolutely not. I can tell half of this comes pre-packaged and the rest bought from somewhere else. The service was okay, my server seemed to have noticed that I was unhappy and simply game me my check before we were even finished (not that I would've finished either way). We have a New Mexican restaurant really close to home so decided to try it out. Couldn't believe the parking lot was full at 5:30 on a Thursday night. We were seated fairly quickly and gave our drink orders. I then ordered Enchilada's Mexican. Three different enchiladas with different sauces. First, I really liked the salsa for the chips, thick and spicy. The refried beans were excellent and the Spanish rice was ok. I really liked the enchiladas and different sauces, very good. He had the mole enchiladas and he said they were good but that he would order something different when we return. The beans and rice were great, hot and fresh. They just opened and I was so happy to finally have a good restaurant on this side of town. It started off with great service. We were seated very quickly with waters and chips & salsa.We ordered a couple of top-shelf margaritas. The salsa was a little bland, but that was quickly remedied when I asked if they had a spicier option. They brought out the other salsa and I mixed it in with the original salsa and it turned out great. We started with a guacamole appetizer. The guacamole was super fresh and was really really tasty. My wife and I opted to share the Carnitas , and it was excellent. The Carnitas were super tender with that perfect crispy exterior. Very hard to find some as good as these locally. There is always a crowd in the evenings, so we thought we'd give it a try. Tonight there was an added benefit of live music. I'm usually not a fan as they are generally just ok and very loud. This was one guy, he was good and had a good variety of music, including some great old country tunes. On to the food. Good chips and salsa, always a plus. I ordered the Tekilas burrito with carne asada. It was above average and way too much. I thought it'd be normal sized as the price was decent. There was enough for at least 2 people. Yesterday was my parents 40th year anniversary and I decided to take them to dinner to my favorite place. I ordered a Chile Relleno Burrito, which on the menu is known as a Tekilas Burrito. When they brought my plate out, they brought a Chile Relleno Plate. Honest mistake, no biggie. The server then came to me and said she thought thats what I wanted because all she heard was Chile Relleno although I asked for a Chile Relleno Burrito. Again, it was loud in there, it was a miscommunication, no biggie. She took the plate back and said they'd make the plate I ordered. The Chile relleno PLATE comes with the chile drenched in a tomato sauce that I have always disliked (hence why I don't order the plate anywhere). The burrito on the other hand, has the Chile DRY and the rest of the burrito fixings. When the server came out with my oder and I cut into it, I noticed how juicy it was. All the cook did, is basically put the plate that I DID NOT ORDER, into a flour tortilla. They did not bother to make the Chile Relleno Burrito how its supposed to be, how I've always got from there. The chile that was in the burrito was drenched in that tomato sauce making it super soggy. Like I initially stated, it was a special day for my family, I did not want to make a scene nor be mean about the situation. But I was very bothered and overall, very disappointed. read more

I think I get enamored by any restaurant that has any variation of the name Tequila on its sign. But then I saw the 5 star reviews. Uhhhh... not my experience. Food flavor and quality I would put just slightly above average. If I factor in that o ate there 3 days ago and my tummy is still wrecked, I'd have to go much lower in my personal experience. I had Guiso Chicken. Nothing exotic. Again, good. Not amazing 5 star category. I was alone and while the dining room I was in was not busy I was largely ignored. Manager came by to check on me after I had paid the check. I think he was feeling there was something off. So that was good on his part. Food - 3-4 * Service - 2 * Atmosphere - 2* re: strip mall place. Upset Tummy for days - Negative *s and downgrade from slightly above avg. food. Just my personal experience.
