Forget driving to The Home Depot. This place has what you need or at least it did for me. We stayed at our in-laws condo at the isles and I needed some plumbing parts for the toilet that kept leaking water all night. Rather than replacing the older toilet I called Havasu Hardware and this cordial lady answered and informed me that they had exactly the parts I needed but they were universal parts. When I got there I was greeted by that same cordial lady with a huge smile :) and a gentleman who looked like he knew just about everything walked me to where the parts where located. Thankfully he works here because he showed me exactly what I needed and how to do what I was repairing! Extremely helpful staff. Go here first, then go to home depot if they don't have it. P.S. I wish I caught the staff names to inform people of how good they are! read more

Desert life. The sun eats everything. A** is not the place. They may be closer but they never have what I need to repair stuff. Havasu hardware repairs my screens very quickly and has the little parts that keep me from having to buy brand new when I just needed repair. Best hardware store in town. I normally shop at Home Depot or Lowe's and by the time you find someone to help your already home shopping at havasu hardware. Also price matched a couple big items and they were on par with the major stores in the area. read more

I stumbled upon this quaint, neighborhood hardware store in Lake Havasu City Arizona on their Main Street known as McCulloch Blvd. I had a short list of items and decided to stop in. The gentleman that greeted me was so kind, and clearly interested, that I found all that I needed. He knew every aisle to find the items on my list. He knew varying sizes of air conditioning filters and had great advice to save money to avoid a money-pit situation with the air conditioning unit. He had vast knowledge about fluorescent light bulbs. He was careful to help me with an odd sized battery for the ceiling fan remote, and encouraged me to take my time, and return again in the future. He was like a friendly neighbor and made me fee right at home. Later, when I was ready to check out, the cashier was warm and welcoming as well. She offered their membership program for future savings and was super friendly. The prices were average and affordable. My time at the cash register was quick and efficient. Being kind, patient, warm and knowledgeable go a long way in my book. I'll definitely be back again in the future. Thank you so much, Havasu Hardware! I come here for work all the time. Becky is super rad and usually works miracles with the way random stuff I need. I went this time for personal reasons. I went and bought a pretty pricey Wi-Fi / Bluetooth BBQ accessory. Like $225 worth. I took it home for a big cookout. The thing was packaged from the factory... and didn't connect to anything I own. I downloaded 3 apps and called the helpline... eternal hold. I brought it back. It never touched meat. Traeger has a weird return policy with their vendors. Really. But, Havasu Hardware took my return. Hassle free. Havasu Hardware is a family business, they stand by what they sell. If it's not right, they'll make it right. Period. The only place to go in LHC, in my opinion. They are that awesome. read more

Kudos to these folks. Johnny homeowner here had a bad GFI plug. Went in bought one went home and installed it. Didn't work. WTH? Swapped a couple of wires. Still nothing. Pulled it out thought it was bad. Walked in said need another one. It's bad. Far from it. Didn't catch the gents name or the young lady trying to help me but the long story short, the new standard they are wired different. Home I go feeling a bit dumb but hey, it happens. I.D' d the feeders wired to line in. TADA. We're up and running. My new go to for everything. These folks rock. read more

I sure wish I could give them ten stars, because I would! When you go to Havasu Hardware, you are not a customer. You are family, and their service proves this every time we step in the door. I needed some paint that was safe to use in a home with pet birds. Well, I have no idea how long they were on the phone with Valspar, but when we went to get our paint, I got what seemed like a full semester course on painting in a home with birds. When I first asked, nobody at the store knew that paint fumes could be toxic to birds. Now, they are all experts. THAT is caring customer service. And the paint is working great. I was surprised by their 30 day return policy. I tried returning a couple identical items that were purchased about 60 days prior. New, in the box and current items they still sell. Receipt in hand. No return for store credit or refund. I'll shop elsewhere for my hardware. read more

A very small, "Mom and Pop" hardware store. It was located on my way home, rather than a long drive to Home Depot or Lowe's. The very moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a "Hello. How can I help you?" That was a VERY different experience than I would normally receive at the bigger stores. The helpful associate directed me to what I needed, and I was out of there in a matter of minutes. The ONLY draw back is that it's located on McCulloch and it can be a little painful finding parking and getting in and out of there - but that's no fault of this store's. VERY HELPFUL STAFF! I bought a propane hose here for my bbq tank. The hose was defective as it wouldn't release any propane when the valve was turned on. Took it back and was told they couldn't accept it because it was opened and they couldn't resell it. Huh? It's defective! I think this says a lot about how they operate. Been going here and paying their high prices for awhile but not anymore. I cut up my rewards card. Sad they'd lose a regular customer over a $20 hose. read more

I have been coming to that store for years. Yesterday I got horrible service, totally ignored. Needed help with hardware for a small project. Employees seemed way to busy to give me thier time. not even one star. my experience was not like the one i read. I was not met at the door with smiles, etc. When i was approached i asked the salesperson if they sold doors, etc. and was eagerly told by the salesperson "we don't carry doors." This was as if she had some kind of joy in the fact that they did not have what i went in there for. I was so shocked by this that i forgot i had a llist for the hardware store and walked out of the store. They are a mom and pop organization for sure and they decide whether they want to serve you or insult you based on the color of your skin and it'd better be white. read more
