Came in here for a list of items. Every one of the things we found and in stock. Other stores were out of them near Phoenix but here they had them. Perfection! We also wandered the store and was able to snag a basket full of seasonal things that were 40-50% Off. winner winner! Employees were so friendly and helpful when needed. Usually has what I am looking for. I would like to see more candle supplies, choices. I have been trying to find tea lights and votives. I specially like the jigsaw puzzles, the options for children ages 3 and up are nice. I would like to see more 300 and 500 piece puzzles and the 400 family puzzles with the multiple size pieces. Racism, favoritism, horrible customer service! I do not know what is wrong with the employees at this Hobby lobby. One day Barbara refused to document the prices correctly or give me an applicable discounts. I pointed it out and she straight refused. So I went back and worked with the manager and got refunded some of the money. The next day when we are there for more yarn, we have the horrible experience of being in Kari's line. She has a line of approximately eight people and the next lady that walks up to her is a black woman. She then puts the lane clothes on right in front of the black woman who says are you going to close after the people in line or right now to which she completely ignored her. Those people went to the back of the two open lanes. She then went and said hello and gave a big hug to a friend that was coming in and got immediately back on her lane. She did not take down the lane closure sign. She kept it up and then decided to take the next people in the two lines that were still open which were now 20 people long. When I got to the front of my lane, she said to me "I'll take you next" and I said no I need you to take the woman who you put the sign up in front because she's still at the back of the lane she had to go to . I called over the lady. Who said thank you and instead of taking her, Kari decides to walk away completely. When I said she needed to take the lady who she put the sign up in front of all she could do was huff and puff, and argue with me that this is not what she did. I was done called a "F***'ing Karen B****. All while a supervisor stood there and took inventory and did not intervene. The very nice gentleman who worked the register in my lane. FRANK advised that this is normal behavior and he was so sorry for our experience. I checked on the other lady as she came out and asked if she was OK and if she knew that person and she said "no, I've never been here before and I won't be back" Hobby lobby - I think you need to retrain this team. Put FRANK as a manager and get rid of the trash. We checked out on December 3, 2025 at approximately 4:15 PM in case anybody wants to check the tapes do their jobs and hold people accountable for their behaviors. read more

Great employees awful scheduling... always lines and people on the sales floor and a clip board person watching lines!! And before Easter in a tourist town!! I wanted to do something different this year. I came up with an idea. I had some help from one of the super rad staff members named Shannon. She was really nice and helped me find stuff. It's the tree of life with the family names. I put the letters and then painted and distressed them. I didn't give 5 stars because I ordered some of the letters and they never came. Wow! My intentions were to just "pop in" real quick to get a couple of stickers for a end-of-school-year art project. That "pop in" lasted well over an hour. I kept getting distracted by so many pretty and intricate items. This location has such a variety of items not only for arts and crafts but also furniture and decor. I have just moved to Lake Havasu and my home is bare. My goal is to revisit this Hobby Lobby with a long list of items to decorate my home inside and out. The artificial flower aisles were overflowing with colorful and life-like flowers and succulents. There were artificial cactus that make you hesitant to touch for fear of getting a quill in your finger. The enlarged photo and artwork section was very impressive. I love LOVE LOVE Hobby Lobby~ who doesn't really, right?! I especially like this store for how large & organized it is. And the sales that it has are seriously AMAZING!! When you catch an end of season sale it's 90% off! Crazy, I know!!! My only complaint about this particular location is that sometimes the cashiers are not very friendly. The sales staff on the floor are always kind & helpful, but often times when I have arrived to the register, the women up their are a bit abrasive. I have actually only encountered one who was really friendly. The rest just want to be done with ya! ‍ The sales make up for this BUT being friendly is easy. read more

The good review: Robby/Robbie- I was lost searching for a couple of items and a manager named Robby came to the rescue. He not only helped me find the items I needed, but gave me recommendations on alternatives to the project I'm working on! Thank you so much, from a mom of 3 The bad review: CSM & Cashier I headed up front to pay for my stuff and saw no one at their registers. I was a little confused so I stood for a minute and saw two employees standing at the other end near the seasonal Fall stuff chatting. I walked over to them assuming I was simply at the wrong register, nope! They gave attitude and told me to head to register 1 where I originally was. I heard them whisper something to each other and giggle, I can only guess it was about me. After feeling humiliated, I decided to just leave the items and walked out. I wish I had got their names, but these two are the nastiest hearted beings I've came across.. we are all human and I wish I was treated the way I was on the floor. So, to the CSM with long black hair and the cashier with short curly black hair that's name tag started with a K, I really hope whatever was bothering you yesterday, gets resolved and you start to treat everyone else better. read more

Tried to promote a free local job fair to their newest location but managers interviewing people wouldn't take the info and shooed me off; they were not interested in participating since they were busy (facepalm) trying to find people to hire! I have been going to Hobby Lobby since the eighties and as a Christian I always loved the music that they played. It was so family friendly. My feeling of belonging left when I saw a cashier with her mask under her nose. If you are going to be a Christian company act like it. Again trying to decide between 3 or 4 stars. I would give four, but like too many other stores a lot of the stuff is China which we try to avoid. You can get fabric, home furnishings, decorations (a ton of Christmas decorations!), model cars or airplanes, T-shirts to tye dye or use for iron ons, a lot of beads, stamps, stickers colorful paper and a lot of hobby related goods. My fiancée does a lot of bead work so this is a favorite spot of hers as well. read more

Very friendly staff and it's as if Joann's and Michaels had a baby store! My wife needed some items and as I normally try to avoid such places, I'm glad I didn't! Lots of man cave related items and plenty to keep a guys interest while his wife is shopping for other things. The store was clean and I only wish we had one in our area. Large selection with reasonable prices! We will certainly be stopping back next time we are in Havasu. read more

What happens in Havasu stays in Havasu right? I sure hope so. The Hobby Lobby is one of those places I feel guilty for shopping at because I hate their politics. Once I'm in the door though, I can't resist all the little crafty things and notions and fabrics. The store is always neat and tidy, the selection is always great, and the staff is always amazingly friendly and helpful. I usually come for t he fabric section and I've never been disappointed. Even if it's busy, the people are always friendly. The prices are reasonable and they always have an internet coupon available for an even better price. read more

May I start off with....I LOVE HOBBY LOBBY!!! I wish there were more of these stores around! They have so much stuff here that I could see myself using for a project, or just to decorate my house with. I seriously have almost every piece of their 'nautical themed' house decorations! I am always stopping by when I am in town visiting my family, because there is always something I need. A bigger selection that any Michaels Crafts would have. I have never had a bad experience with customer service at this location. They are always having great sales, which makes their expensive items more affordable. I am giving it one star because the lady in the fabric department was not nice. Saw me picking out fabric and then totally ignored me when I brought it up to the cutting station.
