I really liked the naan and the mango lassi! The veggie dish (I forgot what it was called) was really good as well. My chicken vindaloo was pretty good, nothing too crazy though. I am basic so the cheese naan was my favorite :p Both dishes were ordered to be spicy but my chicken vindaloo wasn't that spicy at all. I liked the amount of rice they gave with the dishes!

Really tasty food and attentive service. It's a comfortable, cool vibe - maybe a little too spacious because it was quiet on a Wednesday early dinner. I don't know why... the food was terrific and my teenagers ate it up.

I mean wow! By far the best Indian restaurant I've been too, and it's not even close. Everything we had was great and fresh. I've never been the biggest fan of samosas, always thought they were okay; but this place made me fall in love with them. We had the samosa chaat which isn't your typical way to have samosas but it's a must get. The chicken chili took you in journey of flavors, you tasted 3 different flavors from start to finish. Chicken Vindaloo was also amazing and a must get. Tikka masala paneer was okay, definitely not my favorite tikka masala sauce; but who cares everything else was amazing. Our waitress Mina was great! She was very helpful and attentive. If you're lucky to have her as your waitress, just know you're in good hands! Restaurant is very clean and spacious. The chairs they use are cushioned and super comfortable; and you could lean back pretty far after you're full at the end of your meal. Only negative thing I have to say about this place is that it's an hour away from me. But also a good thing because I'd be in there every week lol. Will definitely be back for sure, they have a customer for life.

The restaurant was comfy; there was an electric fireplace on the wall which made the room feel homey. We got fried pork momos, which were delicious and juicy. I was interested in trying the C-style, but we had a non-spice eater at the table. I got the pork chili from the appetizer menu and garlic naan for my meal, and my companions got the chow mein and sekuwa. The chow mein looked standard and sekewa was grilled chicken served with puffed rice (looked like rice krispies). Everyone was happy with their meals, but I especially loved mine. There were slices of pork belly in a flavorful sauce with tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers. Note that the pork belly still has the skin on it (which I personally love). My only complaint was at medium, the food seemed mild, but I'll be clearer of my spice preferences next time. I would definitely come back specifically for the pork chili!

Decent South Asian and Nepalese place with surprisingly a karaoke night!…read more The bara is a fried pancake of sorts, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The dipping sauce was good as well, possibly a mint-like flavor. The pork momos were really good too, with nice crimping on the skin and decent fillings inside. The chicken vindaloo was decent, though I might have liked more specificity to the flavoring of the vindaloo. The potatoes were nicely textured. The chicken bites were a bit large, they could have been chopped up a bit. The gorkhali khasi (a goat curry) was fairly decent with tender nice pieces. The flavoring was oversalted and again could have used a tad more definition. The bone-in aspect was appreciated as it held the flavor of the meat. The bhindi masala (okra) was fairly successful with a solid infusion of flavor into the okra. The dish was overall too oily though and some steps need to be taken to minimize the oil. All in all quite enjoyable!

I asked for medium spice and it had a good kick. There was a side of onion chutney that added some nice zip to balance the richness of the butter chicken sauce. That spicy chicken tika sauce yes!…read more Came here for dinner on a Sunday night and it wasn't too crowded. The restaurant is nice with a few tables for dining in but there is also an order at the counter for pick up and to go orders. My bf and I decided to order some veggie momos to start and decided to share the chicken tika and the chickpea masala. The waiter was very nice and attentive and quickly took our order. The momos came with a yummy sauce which we enjoyed as we dipped each Momo with ever bite. When the chicken tika came out it was sizzling and smoking and it was so loud because it was on a hot cast iron dish and it smelled so good! The chicken tika came with this super tasty, spicy dipping sauce which I had never had with this dish before, and it really blew us away! I wanted a bucket of this sauce on all my meats! ASAP! The chicken was super tender and juicy and the sauce made it irresistible! We really liked this dish and quickly finished it. We each should of gotten our own order of chicken tika! The naan bread with the chickpeas masala was perfect and our rice was nice and fluffy. We thought we were going to have leftovers but we literally wiped our plates clean! Everything was delicious, savory and so good! We will definitely be back for that chicken tika and spicy sauce and this time I'm not sharing! Hahaha!

I ordered the chana masala, veggie samosa, and a Taj Mahal beer. These are my usual go to items, and all of them delivered. I ordered medium spice and it was perfect. Just enough heat that I was sweating a little, but still going back for more. Very good balance and flavor. The menu has plenty of options and covers both Indian and Nepalese dishes, which makes it easy to come back and try different things. Food quality felt strong across the board. Service was quick and friendly. Inside, there is plenty of seating and a comfortable, casual setup. They had pleasant, modern Indian music playing, which added to the atmosphere. It is right on Broadway in Teele Square, so easy to get to. The only minor downside was some loud chatter between staff, which could be a little distracting at times. Overall, this is a reliable neighborhood spot with very good food and solid service. Based on this visit, I am comfortable rounding up to a five star review. I will be back.
