This place is SO GOOD! The staff is super nice as well and can accommodate changes if you don't like everything the dish comes with. The birria is so flavorful and juicy and the nachos are delicious as well!! I've already been three times this month, quilos is one of my new favorite places.

Just opened! As of this review. Quilo's has tacos, burritos, pupusas and more! I tried the steak and tongue tacos and the traditional loroco pupusa and their horchata. Everything looks made to order even though some prepped items for expediting service. This fast casual service restaurant has limited seating and can be busy during peak times. Also free street parking.

We stopped here while in town and were pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, service great, and everything tasted good. The tamales are HUGE! These are NOT Texas tamales!

Thank you Jesus! Just what the area needed! I forgot to ask what country the owners are from but the food feels more like Salvadoran rather than Mexican but in a good way. It's nice to get something a bit different compared to other local taquerias so I definitely recommend checking them out. Wife and I were able to sample a large portion of their menu but they didn't have carnitas or pork as they're still in the early stages of opening. Must tries would be the Revuelta Pupusas, Chicharron, fish tacos and the beef tongue. We also tried chicken and steak tostadas, ceviche, birria, Horchata and Maranon drinks. The Maranon is the sleeper hit and I liked it much better than the Horchata. Very nice service, meats are cooked fresh instead of a steam table and their hot sauce is homemade. My only regret was that I couldn't eat more and need to come back instead.

Great addition to Arlington food options! We've tried the burritos, quesadillas, pupusas, and the tostadas and they are all fantastic. The steak is very tasty and our current favorite although we have not had a chance to try others enough. The chicharron and cheese pupusa is delicious, and comes with a crunchy side of cabbage slaw! The burritos and quesadillas come with side of chips and salsa. About 8-10 tables and decor is simple but comfortable. Some ordering kinks still being worked out, but nothing serious and the staff is very friendly and welcoming (give them a break and be patient). We will be visiting in a regular basis! Highly recommend.

The birria tacos are to die for. Great hole in the wall taco place to grab a takeout dinner at an inexpensive pricetag.

4.5 stars. Tonight,…read moremy daughter had a friend over and we decided to bring the three kids to the Ixtapa Mexican Grill. We haven't gone to dinner here since shortly after moving to Arlington. The interior is exactly how I remember it. Mexican inspired. Yellow, red, green, and white. There are TVs on the walls showing sports. The food is pretty typical for Americanized Mexican food, EXCEPT the flan. Holy moly the flan is good. I could eat it all day, but I would probably get type two diabetes. None of the food we ordered was spicy. The endless amounts of chips that they bring out with carafes of salsa for the table are freshly fried. We all ate way too many of them. The portions at this place are generous. Much too big for the tweens I was eating with. The one dish we ordered that was not huge was the brownie sundae. Our server was nice as were the bus-woman and food runner. The food came out super fast after we ordered it. My one suggestion would be to make the menu more elaborate. None of the dishes are described. You don't know what sides are coming with them or what ingredients or filling options there are. I asked a lot of questions. (I imagine this makes the servers jobs kind of annoying.)

Amazing food and amazing service! Loved the atmosphere and the quick and loving staff. Will…read moredefinitely come here again!

I got the margarita de la casa with salt, it was your classic margarita, but I liked it. Smaller size. For food, we started with the tamal with pork mole, which was really tasty, and fresh. Only one per order though, at $12 a piece. The size wasn't huge either. I then ordered the arroz del mar. It was creamy rice mixed with calamari, shrimp, and octopus. I was expecting more of a cream sauce but it was more like a watery broth, with a kick. It was spicy but tolerable. I liked the flavors but it didn't hit my craving. My boyfriend got the pollo con mole which he liked but I don't think he was crazy about it. I was still hungry so we ordered the plantano macho with beef. This stuffed plantain was good, I liked the cheese on it. But again, small size.. I will say I didn't know it was tapas style until we overheard the waitress tell another table. It makes sense in hindsight but we were quite hungry and this might have deterred us from coming. Portions were small even for tapas style. I saw a group and I'm not sure how they managed without ordering a surplus of food. I overheard them order at least 7 tacos...one per order... Strong flavors and fresh ingredients, I would say that. I think this is an elevated experience for food and it was a pleasant experience, but I wouldn't rush back because I don't think the portions were worth it even for tapas style.
