Let's start with the vinyl section: The albums are haphazardly scattered about the section with little to no care for condition or storage. They are in a very poor order and not well organized. You can find a few gems but they often have bent corners, they're scratched or missing sleeves. I wouldn't look to buy any used LPs here. Next up pinball: I absolutely love the set up with the black lights and nostalgic sounds that comes from the pinball machines. This is truly a time capsule and is worth the visit if you enjoy vintage pinball. I can not honestly think of another location like it. Finally the head shop / general merchandise: Much like the vinyl, it's a mess. Not easy to find anything. You'll end up stumbling on something rather than find what you want. Lots of items I noticed are damaged or broken due to lack or care. It's a shame because there is a lot of beautiful stuff. In conclusion; this place could be great if it was cared for. Not sure why it's a train wreck of disorganization, but it is. I could have easily dropped a few hundred dollars on my visit today but didn't because the condition and state of the items I wanted were not acceptable. If you want to play pinball, this is THE place. If you want to buy merch/vinyl, there are better places within a 30 minute drive.

What matters is the wonderful collections. Hard to find books to impossible to find books, well almost impossibe... and some pretty amazing old prints in the back of the store are excellent buys as well. I think what holds me back from giving this place 5 stars is the fact that I've been going to this store for about 5 years, I go about once a month and often bring friends PLUS have made some rather pricy purchases (meaning between $50 and $295) and each time I walk in I expect the owner to know who I am and everytime I walk in she acts like she never saw me before. I think she should get to know her customers better, I mean, just because I'm not interested in her big white poodle doesn't mean I'm not interested in her book collection... The other gripe I would have would be I onced asked her for a book that I couldn't locate and she did an internet search and found it and turned to me and said that I should go to eBay. If I wanted to go to eBay I would have. What I wanted was for someone to get the book for me and have it delivered to the store so I wouldn't have to be home to receive it. Its called customer service!

Great mix of new booster boxes, old tins, individual packs and a few single cards here and there. Prices were in line with what we might expect to pay online for the newer stuff and individual packs, but you can find a few deals if you are familiar with standard rates. Overall, just fun to shop in person and it really made our day bright to discover this great shop en route.

When I saw the sign for Phoenix Antiques and Crafts, I was expecting an antique store with some…read morecrafts. I was not expecting what I found, which was a really cool store stocking mostly Southwestern and Mexican goods! The store is in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, on the Pennsylvania side. It's on the northbound side of Route 209, across from the Delaware Cemetery. There's a white columned house with a semi-circular driveway, and next to the house is a long, wooden building with a yellow sign and old license plates near the door, and chili ristras hanging from the roof overhang. Inside is quite a collection: wonderful Day of the Dead merchandise, fine crafts, some fine art prints, "Graphite Objects" ( http://www.asbworkshop.com/collections.html ) that are hand-carved and write without rubbing off on your hands, animated diffraction grating postcards, Frida Kahlo items, carved wooden boxes, ceramics from Acoma Pueblo, rugs, scarves, felted animals, tin animals, jewelry, Talavera ceramic tiles, "treasure boxes," glass ornaments. The store is not large but despite the amount of merchandise it doesn't feel like it's too tightly packed. It's definitely worth stopping in if you are driving Route 209 in the Dingman's Ferry area! In fact, if Day of the Dead merchandise interests you, it's worth stopping in if you are anywhere within the region!
