The new manager is kind to the patients, addresses problems as quickly as possible, and is an overall great manager.

The type of care that this facility is nothing like what they advertise !just five months ago they killed somebody's father and my mother was just readmitted into the hospital after being left there for 7 days something needs to happen before more people die this place kills people they don't care if they kill people they blame it on the family members the staff is extremely underqualified and all they do is stand around and talk they ignore patients they ignore family members every time I go in there there's either someone screaming for help or just someone screaming the only thing that has changed about this place is they covered up the smell of pee and feces !! I looked up how the state inspector graded this place , and I think the only reason why those doors are still open is because they pay their huge fines that the state gives them but State instead of trying to just make money off of them needs to shut them down cuz they are detrimental to everyone that walks through those doors health DO NOT LET THE HOSPITAL OR ANY DOCTOR SEND YOUR LOVED ONES THERE UNLESS YOU PLAN ON STAYING BY THEIR BEDSIDE 24/7 TO MAKE SURE THEY DON'T GET HURT AND TO MAKE SURE THEY GET THE RIGHT TREATMENT OR ANY TREATMENT read more

Haven healthcare of SHOW LOW has staff that truly go the extra mile for their patients. SNF's (skilled nursing facility) are hard to staff, have an abundance of heavy patients who are HARD to take care of and manage, and are endlessly an uphill climb. SNF's are not easy to manage, they are NEVER perfect, and yet this location truly cares about their patients and strive to do their best at all times. If you have a need, have a problem, need to vent, don't agree with your loved ones care plan etc, please talk with Kara Litke (Director of Nursing). My family member was transferred there after being discharged from the hospital. He was there for 3 days and not one staff member reached out to give us an update. When we called the phone rang and rang and no one ever answered. Then the one night they did call my family member was in serious condition and had to be transferred back to the hospital. During the pandemic that were are in with no visitation policies the nursing staff needs to be more proactive at updating family members. I did have a nice conversation with the DON and the regional manager in which to apologized and said they will work on fixing things. However, they had one chance to impress me, since I have a background as a CNA employed by some very reputable SNFs in the valley along with currently being a RN. I will not be sending any friends or family members to the facility ever again. read more

Don't bother! This facility is extremely under staffed for 35 paitients! I'm here for a 5 day respite care and so far I've sat in a soiled brief for 5 hours and a wheelchair with no footrest. This facility has no bed pads! They use a trash bag between a folded blanket! I'm 47yrs old and have a voice! These seniors don't. Time to rattle corporates cage! read more

The Assisted Living Side opened on January 2, 2019. My mother moved in and had the place to herself. Her room has a view of Porter Mountain. There are activities, good food and they have been watching her blood sugar regularly. The staff is pleasant and attend to her needs. They provide her three meals a day and also have a "Basket" in the common area where they have snacks and fresh fruit available throughout the day. Exercise, activities, nail salon, hair salon, trips to local stores provides some excursions. Nice facility with new furniture, paint, carpet and tile. Cable and WiFi throughout. Mom has been here 3 months and is happy. read more
