Stayed here for a long birthday weekend from VA. It is a…read morevery clean & small hotel with 5 floors & plenty of parking. The larger studio with 2 Queen Beds & pull out sofa is very spacious with 4 adults but can accommodate 5. There is a partitioned room /work space from the sleeping area, but no door. There are also two TVs. The other tv is located in the work space/separate sitting area with a pull out sofa, coffee table, & a pull out work table & office chair. There are numerous outlets, however some of the sockets were "loose" the plugs wouldn't stay secure in the outlet. But fortunately we remedied this by using other available outlets near the floor lamps. I was relieved when my friend & I pulled out the sofa bed, because sometimes you never know what kind of "surprise" you might find. The sofa bed was really clean & looked relatively new. My friend reported that the bed was a bit stiff but was fine. The AC unit worked like a charm! I do like the full sized shampoo/conditioner & body wash. It's very convenient. A hair dryer is provided for convenience. I do make it a point to search for hotels with a microwave & mini fridge. It's super helpful for road trips for your bottled water or beverages to keep cold & store leftovers. Water pressure was good, as well as the temperature. The only thing that was disappointing was the every other day housekeeping. Although this is mentioned in their website. Breakfast was fairly extensive, with a mixture of cold & hot items such as make your own waffles with options of bottled toppings aside from syrup, toast, bagels, yogurt, cold cereal, oatmeal, bananas, apples, oranges, jams, jellies, & three hot items that would vary on occasion of a frittata, or an omelette, and a type of sausage, either pork or turkey varying on the day. There were friendly employees tending the breakfast area with a smile, ensuring the areas stayed clean & items were replenished & for assistance if needed. Juices & milk were available. While the tea & coffee were at a separate area in the dining area. While it became busy, there was still plenty of seating & no back ups with obtaining food. Sometimes, I wonder exactly what people are looking for when it comes to "complementary" breakfast, when they refer to the breakfast as being garbage or inedible. Clearly you're not going to have eggs Benedict or avocado toast & customized smoothies. If a hotel provides numerous options that also include hot items, I get pretty excited. Haha, it's when it's a continental breakfast that consists of JUST bananas, apple or a bagel & yogurt or a thrown in granola bar is when the disappointment arrives for me. Honestly, it's a nice convenience to have breakfast included so you don't start your day off hangry or trying to figure out where you're going for breakfast. It saves time, & it essentially saves money. It definitely is close to Chocolate World, Hershey Park & a 5 minutes drive from The Hershey Story, Chocolate Avenue Grill & Au Bon Lieu! Roughly a 45 minute drive to Strasburg RR, and a 35 minute drive to Turkey Hill Experience. There is a CVS within walking distance down the block, and an Exxon a block away on the other side of the hotel. The post office across the street is an Annex, so if you need to mail something off, there is a post office near the Hershey Story Museum, behind the Starbucks area. Although places are within walking distance, the streets are not ,that lead to the restaurants. There is no sidewalk until you reach a far way down. Overall, this is a good choice for a hotel if you want to be "centrally" located to Lancaster & other activities outside Downtown Hershey. It's in an unassuming area that seems out of place, but it's convenient, clean, spacious, includes breakfast, parking is included, has a microwave & mini fridge so it ticks off all the boxes for me. Plus the staff were kind & friendly & the hotel looked fresh & beautiful. The indoor pool is small & only 4 feet deep I believe, so if a pool is a deal breaker, this might be a no go for you. Ps if you want a surface to eat on because you don't feel like dining out & you order take away, you can roll that office table between the two beds & use it as a dining table.

Just finished a six night stay…read more We stayed in large room. It had two queens and a pullout. There was a desk area. Also had a small microwave and small fridge. The room felt dark-with decor in particular. Breakfast every morning. Had your typical breakfast- waffle maker waffles, cereal, bagels, eggs, a breakfast meat, yogurt, fruit, juices. They also had coffee that was out 24/7. Has a small indoor pool and a nice exercise room. Hershey Park during summer months have concerts that you can hear from the sound from your room. So if you go to bed early this may be an important factor. Rooms didn't really have a refresh. I was lucky if trash was taken out and we got new towels without asking. Not a bed made once. I miss those days of coming back to a nicely made bed. I guess those days are long gone? Also, the week we were there lots of kids which were running around the lobby like it was a playground. Overall my stay was okay. I might book here again if I was in the area but I would also consider a different spot as well.

They offered a free breakfast buffet every morning. 100 times better than the previous hotel I stayed at. The rooms were very clean. The beds were moderately hard not as soft as I would've liked. But the rooms were comfortable. 55 inch television that I was able to hook my Xbox and use my apps and play my games. The air conditioner worked amazingly well. It was quiet and I was able to maintain a temperature of 61°. They have a filtered water distribution machine that makes it nice to fill big bottles. The refrigerator stayed nice and cold the whole time. And free ice was available when I needed it. My only complaint was the swimming pool. It wasn't open the first four days. When it did open, the temperature in the pool was hot. So hot that it was i uncomfortable. Do we even get in the water. I mentioned this to the staff at the front desk and they said they would say something to maintenance about it. Unfortunately the water continued to be hot. Except for the day after we had torrential downfall of rain. The pool felt very refreshing that day. Unfortunately, again the next day back to hot hot hot. Overall a great stay. I'm sure they'll get their pool system figured out as it was just opening up for the season when I stayed. A big thank you to the staff for making my stay very comfortable and welcoming.

I believe there is a very long curb not marked with emergency paint available. I did use Hilton app to check in about two hours before my arrival. Upon my arrival there was not an electronic key on my app. The young lady at front desk helped me out immediately giving me a couple physical cards. This location is still offering cookies in the afternoon as well as the 24hr. coffee bar. Our room was cooled and clean upon arrival. There was an oversized refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker available. Bathroom was clean with hand soap and body lotion on wall in pump containers. There were also pump containers in curtained shower of shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Water was hot and shower head was adjustable. I selected a room on the side of building which faced busy highway not knowing how the hotel was oriented. Because of the extra ridges on roadway I heard trucks going by almost all night. I know better if in area again. My wife and I both felt the bed was a little firm. We prefer softer. Breakfast was a step up from other Hampton's we have stayed in. First, there was packages of honey at coffee bar 24/7 for my wife's tea. For breakfast there is a carafe of infused water with fruit, packages of good salsa for the omelet, cinnamon flavored waffle batter, and an upgraded pastry selection. I did use first floor restroom which was clean and stocked with a nice heavy paper towel. I would stay here again if traveling thru area.

Check in was a breeze and the lovely lady working the evening I got into town was happy and just extremely pleasant to deal with. she got me on my way in a few moments after I arrived. Rooms were good sized and very clean- as were all areas of the establishment: Common areas, hallways etc. Bed was comfy, and the hot water was hot - without having to wait forever. Perfect. In the morning, they offer what I would say is one of the best free breakfasts I've had in quite some time. Coffee was not only hot, but tasted very good - a rare find these days. The hot offerings changed daily and pretty much every dietary preference was covered in some fashion. the folks doing kitchen duty were obviously very dedicated to their jobs, and it showed. Round it all out with an indoor pool and fitness center as well as a small outdoor patio seating area, and you have a very good place to unwind after a long day of meetings or whatever it is that brings you to town. Overall a wonderful experience and I would absolutely use this location again if back in the area.

My concern is not that the hotel allows pets--it's the lack of cleanliness throughout the property. I am staying in Room 209, and upon arrival, the floors had not been swept, and there was hair throughout the bathroom. The entire second floor has a strong odor of dog urine and feces. Even more concerning, I observed what appeared to be pet urine and feces in the common areas, extending from the dining area through the lobby and hallways. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel. If my room were not prepaid, I would be checking out immediately and booking a room at a Marriott property. I will also be sharing this experience on multiple hotel review sites because travelers deserve to know the conditions before booking. I do want to make it clear that this review is not a reflection of the front desk associate, Ale. She was professional, kind, and very accommodating. When I requested a broom and room spray because of the condition of my room, she happily provided both, and I returned them shortly afterward. Ale provided excellent customer service despite the hotel's housekeeping and cleanliness issues.

The room was clean-nothing fancy, but acceptable. The real surprise was the pool and hot tub area. It was small, but very clean and well maintained, and the hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day at the gym. The fitness room was basic but clean, and it was much better than trying to run outside. The location is a little odd-it's right next to an RV factory? but it was convenient enough for our tournament. The biggest highlight was definitely the breakfast. It was phenomenal and had one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had. That alone helped make up for the cramped room. Overall, if you're in town for sports or just need a comfortable place to stay, it's a solid choice.

I'm not sure if it's inflation or the fact that there's a huge bowling tournament going or that the Renaissance festival going on. But it was much more than I usually pay here. Something tell me it's inflation as all hotels have went up to the plus $200 per night cost. But this place I'll stay with
