Had to call (first time) about a color that i was looking for, no big deal, lives in Carrollton, just needed a simple phone call. Notice that the black lady answering the phone, instead of giving me the floor sales person, she had her point of view that I should come down and they can't do anything over the phone. Okay, let her have this one, makes my purchase online ONLY needed a loveseat in the color of almond. Yesterday, Oct. 12th, 2020, call Haverty's in Newnan, gets the same black lady. Ask her to look up my account, that I made purchase online and needed to know the status. She says, "What am I looking up this account for?" At this point, I've had it with this heifer. I just told her what I wanted. In a snappier voice J told her just look it up and tell me what you see, the status as in when it's coming! Anything you see on the screen tell me!" I don't know if she's just trying to be the black people patrol; simply because she thinks her own color will not purchase at this furniture store because it's expensive or what. But she needs talking to or fired one, She's not the damn people sorter of who gets to talk to whom. She actually needs to stay in her lane and just answer the phone. Anyways, DO NOT SHOP AT HAVERTY'S BC THEY ARE ALL ON BACK ORDER UNTIL DECEMBER AND POSSIBLY THEN, YOU STILL WILL NOT GET UR FURNITURE!!!! IF I COULD'VE SPOKE TO A SELLS PERSON, I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS. INSTEAD, I PURCHASE A CHAIR OCT. 5 AND WASN'T GOING TO GET IT UNTIL DEC. 11TH. Strike 2- I'm beyond done...so last post I stated that I wasn't elated about the delivery service that is contracted with the local Newnan Haverty's location. They had me waiting on them for hours and called at 8pm to state they wouldn't be able to deliver my furniture. So we agreed on today being my makeup appointment around 12pm. A Customer Service rep called me back and stated someone called out today and wouldn't be able to deliver today. I called the manager out of state and he offered $100 off for my inconveniences for two weeks in a row. Umm, sir I'll take my business elsewhere. I know great customer service doesn't mean anything to companies these days but I will not spend my time and money condoning unethical practices. Y'all figure it out amongst your company, but while you do that I'll shop elsewhere. read more

I walked in and as soon as I got in I was greeted, I forgot her name but she ended up becoming my personal shopping person. She asked what I was looking for and immediately went to show me all of the options they had. Unfortunately I did not fall in love with anything there but they have plenty of options to choose from. read more

Really deserves zero but I can't give one. I ordered furniture (chair and sofa - not cheap). The salesperson told me it would be delivered in 4-4 months - it took 6 months. Incorrect phone number was entered into into their system so trying to communicate was a nightmare. When the furniture was finally delivered, it was a mess. The print on the chair didn't match at all, the pillows were sloppy with the cording lumpy and corners a mess. So it was re- ordered. 8months later the replacement chair was delivered and it was worse. I refused delivery and told customer service I don't want a chair from the same manufacturer. They told me a replacement had been ordered and there was no way to cancel. I contacted the store and got absolutely no help at all. All Margaret told me was that I'd need to contact customer service. I told her I'd contacted them multiple times. Response: there's nothing we can do. Bottom line - Haverty's no longer makes quality furniture and the store doesn't provide any help whatsoever. read more

We needed furniture for our new home and did the typical rounds at Rooms To Go and Ashley. We stopped into Havertys, Newnan location and were not bombarded at the front door by a sales associate, which I greatly appreciated, as we had previously experienced at other stores. It was our first time visiting Havertys and as we walked by a sales associate, he warmly introduced himself and asked if he could be of service. His name was Taylor who was actually the branch manager. We let him know everything that we were looking for, and he introduced us to Ronnie who walked us around. To say Ronnie was knowledgeable about anything and everything having to do with the furniture they carry is an understatement. We must have crisscrossed the store at least four times looking and relooking at pieces. He was patient, kind and helpful with his suggestions. Ronnie offered us a service called a "purchase presentation" which entailed Ronnie and a design consultant, Grace, coming to our home to measure everywhere we were thinking of purchasing furniture for. Upon arrival at our home, Grace asked us a few questions, measured with a laser tape measure (for accuracy and as to not scratch the walls) and was finished rather quickly. She uploaded pictures of our home from the MLS onto her computer and we scheduled a time to meet with she and Ronnie later that day. Taylor again greeted us upon arrival and to my surprise remembered tidbits from our previous conversation. The way he acknowledged and remembered us as he walked us back to the office was a really great feeling. When Grace showed us the purchase presentation it brought me to literal tears! She showed us in 2D and 3D and we were floored. It was so cool to see the pieces we had selected, placed in the rooms virtually. It gave us a clear vision of what everything was going to look like, how far away from the door frames and windows the pieces were going to be etc. Grace threw in other pieces such as rugs, plants, artwork, and chairs as suggestions that were great. She has a great eye for décor. We absolutely LOVE the pieces we purchased as well as the overall experience and customer service we received at Havertys, Newnan location. After delivery of some of our items, I had to speak to Havertys customer service. I spoke to a woman named Justice Taylor who was beyond helpful and kind. She listened to every word of my issue, walked me through all the steps that needed to be taken, and didn't end our call until she was sure I didn't have any more questions. I appreciate her caring nature and understanding of my feelings, given the situation. If you are looking for quality furniture with outstanding customer service, Havertys Newnan location is the place to go. Be sure to ask for Ronnie! read more

I ordered a Beckley 84" entertainment console in dovetail grey in May. Today they made the THIRD attempt to deliver an undamaged item and failed...again. The first one they attempted to deliver had a gash out of one of the corners on the side, a spot on the bottom that looked like it had be scraped with a knife or screwdriver and then marked over with a sharpie, and several other areas that looked like they had been scraped (not as part of the weathered look). Also, one of the legs wouldn't fit into the hole it was supposed to. The second one again had a spot on the side where the wood was scraped and paint missing and some other blemishes that were not part of the weathered look. The third one had some scrape marks on the front where paint was missing and the wood was exposed along with two spots along the top of the front that looked like it had been hit 2 times with a hammer, two perfectly round indentions that were cracking. I didn't even get to fully look the 3rd piece over before I determined the quality was not what I expect or paid for ($1765 after "TOP DRAWER" Delivery & tax). I'm sure there was probably additional damage as the guy that had run the show of unloading the piece the 2 previous times was not there and the guys (just two today instead of 3 like both times before) slid the bottom of the console on the back ridge of the truck to unload it because it's a large heavy piece of furniture. After the 2nd delivery attempt I was already over it. Someone from customer service called and asked what was wrong with the piece, I told her and she said a supervisor would call "by tomorrow" to offer a solution because she was just calling to get more information. No one ever call but I got a reschedule delivery, so I decided "what the hell, 3rd times the charm". Wrong. Hopefully someone will call me tomorrow as I requested so I can get a refund and continue my search. Very disappointed with Haverty's. read more

We ordered new custom living room furniture for two houses. Shearl was our salesperson, Grace was our personal on staff designer, Matt is the manager and Kim is the office lady. They were all fabulous from beginning to end!! We had an issue with the warehouse but Matt and Shearl worked everything out for us!! The delivery people were amazing and courteous! We love our new furniture and would highly recommend this team! read more
