When I had no call from delivery ppl for 1st delivery I called the store and they had changed the delivery date after I left so it could all be delivered at one time. Everyone beware! they have demonstrated that they could care less about the customer or their products. They lie about their warranties. Our recliner on our couch has been broken for 7 months now. we are still waiting for the piece that was ordered to fix it, to arrive. What good was the warranty?? Very disappointed in this place. My family and I were out shopping for new furniture (living room sets and office furniture) hoping to find what we were looking for here, and drove there from the other side of town through blanding blvd traffic no less. when we arrived my 14 year old son had to use the restroom so he ran in ahead of us while we got out of the vehicle, when he walked inside he was instantly targeted and sought out and "greeted rudely" as if he wasn't welcome there and when he asked to use the restroom he was told "no they are for paying customers only" and he had to leave by the manager Shondra and another associate. So if that is the case, and you are there just shopping and browsing are you not allowed to use the restrooms while you look at the options if you don't show them they money and make a purchase ? unfortunately for them we were expecting to be "paying customers". but knowing that my child wasn't allowed to use the restrooms made us instantly get back in our car and leave to go to Ashley Furniture instead. Thank you Ashley furniture for being so welcoming! and for the clean restrooms. the Rawcliffe couch at Ashley furniture is the best couch I have ever sat on! Zero Star review. We were snowed by the sales person Tim. He said that they rarely have problems with the to leather recliner love seats we got and that if there is a problem the repair department is great. We let me tell you. We have had two problems with the couches and both times it took a month before a tech could come and look at the problem and then another month before they could come out and fix it. We were told that they have ONE service man that does our area and also TN, and GA. He was to be at our place today after waiting 2 months and this morning they called and said he would not be here today. We are moving to another state next week. SO now we are left with a couch that is broken and a warranty that was a waste of our money. So now I have to fight to get this matter fixed while moving. read more

I purchased a beautiful, expensive sofa from these guys. While my time in the store was pleasant and the sales person was very patient and helpful, this is a WARNING!!!! DON'T EVER LET THEM TALK YOU INTO THEIR PROTECTION PROGRAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a scam. First of all the fabric was supposed to be super treated with this miraculous stain resistant fabric. That obviously wasn't very effective because once there was a spill, even though we immediately blotted and then tried their treatment solution, you can see in the picture that it did not keep a stain from happening or did it remove it. Then when i tried to make a claim on the protection service, there were nothing but issues with their website, then they would not respond to my request for help and then they just flat out denied the claim. They did what they could to make sure you can't make a claim and this reflects on the company pushing the program, which is HAVERTY'S. For this reason im selling the sofa for next to nothing because it has a stain that will NOT come out and they won't replace or even try and fix it. If i could leave zero stars I would.... 1. We were told prices on the floor that some how changed when we got into the back room where they add items for final billing. They will give you all the run around to avoid just saying "we lied to get you further in the buying process" 2. When we finally added up the furniture that we wanted they miss quoted me 2 time lower than the actual 3rd and final buying price..... they LIE!! So why did we buy from them? 3. The salesman Jack, worked my wife and i from a few angles to the point where my wife was very excited and really wanted the items we had save years to purchase. ($8500) 4. They confirmed delivery 5 times but showed up 2 hrs late. Would they comp the delivery charge... hell no!!!! 5. the coffee table chest has the laminate coming my off 3 weeks after delivery. NEVER. This would be a one star review if it weren't for my sales rep Selina who was friendly and helpful in selecting furniture. Beyond that I cancelled my order after the second delivery mishap. First time the delivery people didn't know how to disassemble the bed to get it upstairs. Second time the delivery was 3 hours late. I asked to be moved up on the schedule but was told "I'd try" but it was doubtful. Never heard back. A series of errors and lack of authority or ability to provide customer service. There is no quality customer service when everyone can point to someone else and avoid taking responsibility. read more

WOULD RATE HAVERTYS ZERO STARS IF I COULD - Very poor quality furniture and shockingly poor customer service! Our family custom-ordered a couch for my mother while she was in the hospital for surgery. Due to complications, mom passed away before the sofa was delivered. We received the sofa as part of her estate and gently transported it to our home in St. Louis (sofa was in the original shipping material and had never been touched). After using the sofa for 1 week we noticed that a piece of the sofa structure appeared to be protruding out the bottom of the sofa. I then removed the covering from the bottom of the sofa and discovered the reason for the protrusion was that a major structural member was never attached to the sofa frame (other support members were barely attached due to staples not fully engaging frame work). The wood inside of sofa was very poor quality; the sofa frame is simply falling apart thus preventing me from fixing the situation. I contacted Havertys customer service and was informed that, despite it being brand new and obviously broken, the warranty wasn't applicable because we weren't the original owners and had moved the couch away from the local area (although there is a Haverty's less than 2 hours away in Springfield, MO). Now, I have a brand new $900+ sofa that is not even suitable for a college dorm room. Haverty's was perfectly happy to take our money and completely unwilling to stand behind their product. All I can say is Amazing from the time we walked in until our purchase was complete. We were greeted by Abe immediately upon entering the store. We told him we were going to look around and he stated no problem, he would be glad to help when needed. My wife and I were looking for a sectional couch and entertainment center. We browsed the store and found several pieces that peaked our interest. What we loved about Abe was he was not on top of us, but a close enough distance to allow us to look but also ask questions when they arose. Abe was ready and able to answer all of our questions regarding the different couches we had picked out. My wife and I recently installed new wood floors in our home. We had questions regarding the matching of the couch color with the floor and the entertainment center matching the existing furniture. Abe introduced us to Stacy(I believe that was her name) who assisted with color selections, decor, etc. She was an amazing help just as Abe was and were right by our side when we had questions. She helped us with pillow colors, rugs, and everything in between. Abe and Stacy were a great team. My wife and I had visited about 12 other furniture stores in Gainesville, Florida and did not find anything that peeked our interest nor did the sales people seemed interested in helping us. We do not have a Haverty's in Gainesville and this is why we chose to go to the Orange Park location. My wife and I bought a sectional couch and entertainment center that day. The service from the Abe and Stacey was amazing in every way. They are both knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly and always were willing to help. The young lady that took care of us paying the bill and setting everything up was just as nice and helpful. It has been a long time since I have experienced service such as this. I assure you we will be back to this location when the time arrives for a new bedroom suite. read more

My husband and I bought a leather sectional from Havertys, when the furniture was supposed to get here, it never did, I called them to ask what was going on they told me that they came and that I did not open the door, I told them that I was here all day and that no body called me also, they checked and they had the wrong address and wrong phone number, I talked to 3 different customer service agent and they assured me that they change the address in the system and that it wont happen again. When the furniture got here, my 2 recliners and consoles were all scratched up, I called them and they told me that they will replaced them, they were supposed to be here the next day, and again they had the wrong address, we went thru this 4 times and they could not find my house, they kept going to the wrong address, the last delivery guy even took a picture of a house which it was not my house, and he was nasty to me on the phone telling me that he came and I did not open the door, I told him that he came to the wrong house and he kept yelling at me. I finally had had it and told the sales agent that I did not want to do business with them and to come pick up the furniture if they can find my house. It is too bad, because I love their furniture, but their customer service sucks, they did not even apologized not even one time.
