I'll keep it short, we decided to not be cheap and spend $6000 on a couch . We were helped by a very nice associate named Tracy. She helped us pick out the perfect couch sectional. We ordered a custom tan colored textured fabric. About 3 months later it arrived and was set up by delivery people. Aside from seams being somewhat unfinished it also had stains on 1 section of the back rest and 2 sections of seat area. Looked like water stains or possibly urine. The delivery people were in agreement with us and immediately reloaded it into truck. We received a call a day later from Tracy asking us to accept redelivery and she would come by and talk us into accepting a stained couch. No thank you . I have purchased from Ethan Allen for over 25 years. In the beginning customer service and quality was fantastic, unfortunately my past few purchases have left me less than satisfied. The most recent, and what pushed me to write a review, is a duvet and pillow sham from my local Ethan Allen Store. The store only had one pillow sham and the store told me I could get another online, so I did. What arrived was a pillow sham from a totally different dye lot. The duvet and pillow sham from the store is vibrant, the online pillow sham is hardly legible in areas. The online pillow sham wasn't on clearance. The online pillow sham was a full price sham that doesn't match what their store is selling and now Ethan Allen is saying the color variation is within their standards. If this is within Ethan Allen standards, shame on you Ethan Allen, you have hit rock bottom. read more

We're redoing some of our rooms in our house: refreshing the decor, swapping out some furniture pieces, adding statement pieces to change up the energy inside. I popped into this store on my way from shopping in the nearby shopping center. My husband and I wanted to check it out and see if we found any inspiration or even some pieces we love enough to take home with us. Kate greeted us at the door and let us know that we could have almost anything in whatever upholstery we like, change the color, wood finishing, texture, etc. That kind of versatility is amazing! The turnaround time when placing a custom order like that is 6-8 weeks. we loved the curated pieces in the store and liked how each setting was thoughtfully placed, showcasing the different potential personalities that come with living spaces. In the end, we were pressed for time so we didn't buy anything. We loved the color on some of the walls we saw, and Kate got us the name of the paint and the color before we left the store. Despite not buying anything, we loved our experience in this store, and would come back in a heartbeat. Kate checked on us and offered her help in matching things, getting ideas together, and going through this whole process, which I greatly appreciated. I have wanted to say something or deal with this for a long time. About three years ago my mother, now in her 80's spent weeks working with an Ethan Allen designer at Town Center Jax, to get her nice living room she always wanted. Selections were made colors and shades all worked out for drapes, rods, furniture, rug, etc. - a lot of money. I was with her in the store when the final decisions were made and took pictures of the final swatches and finishes. Mom got an email to sign for the final order and asked me to look at it with her. We were not sure what some of the codes or words were so we called once for some clarification. Well, one got missed. The custom chairs, fabric and finish in pics, was not at all what she picked. We did not catch it by name. Whoever wrote the order made a mistake and we saw it the instant they were delivered. She was all upset. She called the store and they said they would check into it. Later she got the word that they would do nothing about it. She has been upset about it ever since and will not deal with them at all. It really gets to me because I too know what was selected from my pictures yet someone messed up on the order write-up and we did not know the name of the finish. Just be careful if you work with them. It is terrible if you end up with expensive things that are not what you wanted. It was not all that way but the chairs are not right for $5K. read more

Unfortunately, service has gone down significantly at this location. While not as elevated as some furniture, Ethan Allen furniture is relatively high quality and priced accordingly. This means that clients should be treated with respect throughout the process. I have not found that to be the case with this store. Specifically, I had an outstanding order which was due to be fulfilled several months ago. After not hearing from our representative for many months, I called the store to find out she had left the company without transferring any of her accounts to other points of contact. During this phone call, I was met with a hostile employee named Jackie who told me my voice was weird (not joking) and accused me of lying about the specifics of my order. Ethan Allen management, if you're reading this, this woman seems two steps from going postal. At the very least, she should not be answering phones and speaking to longterm or prospective clients. In short, I think from now on, I'll avoid Ethan Allen and will buy antique or Stickley. read more

We had a wonderful experience working with Mark Cassidy at Ethan Allen. He listened to what we wanted. We looked at furniture in the show room, along with material and rugs. Mark came out to our house and measured our rooms. He then put together samples and designs for us to review at the store. We were able to visualize our room with everything he had pulled together for us. Our room was delivered before Christmas, as anticipated. Mark contacted us and asked to be called when the delivery was 30 minutes away. He drove out to the house and arranged the sectional and chairs on the new rug, just like the plans. We couldn't be happier with both the look of our room and the customer service we received from Mark. All contacts from start through to the delivery were most courteous and accomodating.
