Honestly, my kids had the BEST time. We had a group of 6 people and I'm not kidding, we probably caught 40 fish between all of us--mostly Croaker. We kept a handful to do the "biggest fish pool" challenge, but didn't win. My boys were disappointed about that, but has nothing to do with Rudee Tours. Really professional captain and crew--the first mates were super friendly and nice. They also were super attentive to my boys and engaged with them a lot, which made them feel very special. Had a fabulous time and will totally be back. It's worth the money and was beautiful watching the sun go down.

We chose the Rocket which was the faster boat ride, for $28. There's a small discount for seniors and kids. There's also free parking on site. You will need to arrive early to board. You see several dolphins and the first half it's slower, but coming back is where the fun begins. You're going to probably get wet, and a hat or loose wig isn't recommended!! Strap that ish down or be prepared to lose it!! Lol. I also recommend sun shades because salt water in your eyes could screw up the experience. My very first ride I got drenched and my eyes burned for a while. I wore my bathing suit this time, so the water was fine with me. It's good for kids and adults. The park regularly hosts free concerts and community events, creating a fun atmosphere. There are two large, clean, and well-maintained restroom buildings, along with numerous picnic tables and a couple of grills, making it an excellent spot for a beach cookout or family gathering. Every time I've visited, there has been an ice cream truck parked nearby, and on other occasions I've also seen food trucks offering additional options. There's a small but very nice playground for children, and a sandy boardwalk that leads out toward the beach with beautiful ocean views. One thing I really appreciated was how many restrooms are available throughout the park, so you're never far from one. I also noticed brand-new tennis courts and basketball hoops. The basketball courts are adjacent to the large parking lot, but the lot is so spacious that it never feels crowded. In fact, every time I've come here, there have been hundreds of parking spaces available, making parking incredibly easy. One especially thoughtful feature is the electronic sign at the park entrance, which tells you exactly how many parking spaces are available before you even drive in. Overall, Little Island Park is a clean, well-maintained beach park with excellent facilities, beautiful scenery, and plenty to do, making it one of the best beach parks in the area.

Buffington trail and the Whitehurst trail loop is about 1.7 mile. Their trail is very well marked. Even if you get off the trail it is easy to pick it back up. Tags on trees and white marks on trees. We enjoy this hiking because it is right next to a coffee shop. This makes me happy

This one was fantastic! Pat and Eduardo helped us onto the boat, secured our life vests and then told us to give us a thumbs up or down if we wanted them to go faster or slower. The speed was perfect (fast enough to be bumpy, exciting, and fun, without being scary or dangerous). Toward the end, we gave a thumbs up and got some great thrills and big splashes in! We paid extra for the pics and video, which the staff sent to my phone (thanks Olivia!) It was sooo worth it! The pics are priceless! We highly recommend this adventure.
