TD's was just down the street but closed for the night. I went right at opening the next day and they took me right in. Turns out the screw was in the tread and did not penetrate the tire at all. They assured me that no repair was necessary and wouldn't charge me anything because they said that there was nothing to fix! I just wish they were in my hometown.

After I pulled up the older gentlemen told me he could vacuum my car, I offered to do it because I didn't mind.. the younger technician came and aggressively told me to "give that to him" and trying to snatch it out my hand. There were a few words between he and I then I left. This happened 4/21/20. I would NEVER RECOMMEND DOINg business WITH THIS SHOP!! Very unprofessional. I tried getting the general managers number but the older technician told me that it wouldn't do any good because his brother is the owner-- so he acts like that on the regular. Every time I come to this Lube, these guys get me in and out of there in 15 minutes. They don't try…read moreand up sell me on a bunch of bs my car doesn't need or lie to me. I had two leaks they were happy to point out to me, and instead of trying to get me to pay them to fix it and make it sound worse than it was, they did a little quick bandaid type fix that would stop the leaking long enough for me to fix it myself. They told me the part names, who in town might be able to fix it cheap, and wished me the best. $55 for a high mileage oil change and they're truthful about everything. My coolant hose connector was so worn and brittle the hose just came off (the car has over 200k miles), they helped me pick all of the broken plastic out, plugged the holes and gave me all the advice they could, didn't ask for a cent more than the cost of the oil change. I've heard so much about these oil change places utterly ripping you off with lies selling you services you don't need and not actually doing them. but these guys stand alone. Only reason I don't want to send a bunch of well deserved business their way is so that it's not too busy next time I go (jk jk) even when they're a little backed up, they're working hard at each vehicle and there are a couple of awesome guys working up there. This is the only place in the tri-county area I will get an oil change and I recommend you do too. Thank you Halvoline/Texaco!! You'll see me in 5,000 miles or so!!

Funny thing, we moved from the north and had just had our winter tires replaced with summer and had been told by a reliable dealership less than a month before that we had plenty of tread. Stated this to the person trying to upsell us and the rep said, 'Oh, I have not looked at the car personally, let me go check.'. On the check, all was well...imagine that. Took the car to a dealership--Blackburn's Nissan--and they said we had 6, 7, and 8 / 32nds on the tires Firestone wanted us to change. My only wonder is why I am not reporting this Firestone to the Attorney General. I'll just assume they may have been confused or something. But as I said, don't walk, run AWAY from this place.
