He's super non-judge mental and really just wants to make me sound good, which makes singing in front of him confortable. I honestly have been skeptical of singing teachers in the past, as I have had experiences just singing scales over and over again. Craig is the real deal. I noticed vast improvements in my vocal tone after just a few lessons, and was hitting notes well above what I thought my vocal range was. He also helped me discover my middle voice, which now allows me to sing with ease without straining. I can go on and on about the benefits I've noticed, but I don't want to make this post too long. If you're considering getting a voice lesson from Craig, I suggest scheduling your first lesson, and thank yourself later, haha.

I never even knew what a mixed voice was before him, but him helping find it was so transformative. I came to him an amateur, and within months, I am singing professionally with a band! I get excited when it's time to come see him (twice per week) bc I know we're going to hit another milestone, or another new vocal ability! And the huge smile on his face when I get that "aha" moment, you can just tell her takes personal joy, pride and gratification in the knowledge that he has a hand in that (in my progression). I also love that he can help with any genre, I dip my toes in theater, rock, pop, Spanish/mariachi music, he can help all of it!

With my three year old who has never done any sort of dance or language lessons at all, they were beyond welcoming and understanding. Beyond kind, beyond welcoming, you can feel the family these people have developed and they continue to open their doors and their hearts to so many. Thankful that my keiki could be a part of this crew!

That was never mentioned or posted anywhere, and of course I'm going to want to take pictures of my kid... we were excited to be there and it was adorable to watch! It clearly wasn't an issue for other parents to take pictures of their kids as there are several photos of classes on yelp and Facebook. Anyways, she didn't ask to screen my pictures, just told me I can't take pictures. Fine. Halloween comes and they have a trick or treat event for the kids. One of the aunties who helps with the performances and outfits makes a comment that it's too bad my child is a boy. So okay, I learned all I needed to about this hula hui from that comment. Didn't send him back after that. Horrible.

I have to say this was a good scare. The costumes, props and effects were spot on. Many places are super dark like you can't see your hand 5 inches from your face. I had to take creepy small steps just to feel my way and get through this. Actors were professionally made up. it was difficult to tell if it was a dummy or not. I'm not one to scare easy but this place got me to jump twice. They have learned well how to guide people to the positions where they want them to be to get a good scare. And then when you think it's over, it's just like the in the movies. It ain't. hahahahha Some food trucks are set up in the parking lot so you can grab a bite to eat. Parking is across the street at West Marines. They have security there too for the safety of your vehicle. $15 will get you in but we decided to get the $20 Fast Pass to bypass the line. Special thanks to Kevin for setting this up again this year. Highly, highly recommend everyone going to check this out. Well worth it and better than most of the haunts out there.
