    New rewards program

Consolidated Theater Kahala Mall. Been coming here for many years. Free parking in Mall. Convenient location. New rewards program. Sign up online. Need to scan at cashier. Ticket counter and food counter. They just discontinued the old program. There are comfy seats with tables and reclining where you could put your feet up. Self serve area for drinks or butter. If you order something that takes time to make in kitchen, you will get a buzzer that will ring when ready. Note: one small box per transaction free Otherwise it's 25 cents per small box I ordered 3 things on separate transactions to get 3 free boxes. Normally order the kids popcorn combo, which includes kids popcorn, kids cold drink, gummy candy. Holiday time, normally there is a promotion. Buy gift card $100 get $20 free. I think till end of December. Good deal. Highly recommend.

Sunday February 1, 2026. We came to watch Avatar: Fire and Ash 6:30am showing. Plenty parking. Tickets $35.00? Service fast and friendly. Ordered 1 large popcorn and 1 free refill, 1 fountain drink, 1 Icee, and 2 mochi crunch. $46.00? Ambiance is casual and comfortable seats. We frequent here as we live right up the street from here like 1/2 a mile away. We will continue to come here or the Pearlridge location when we are closer to there at the time.

Once in awhile going out to see a movie for a short escape from day-to-day reality is enjoyable. I would recommend Kahala Mall movie theaters on this island for its convenience, cleanliness, and location. Like most movies theaters out there, food and drinks are ridiculously overpriced. Nonetheless, a bag of popcorn is satisfying to munch on. There is a movie membership to take advantage of especially if going to movies is a regular outing. I learned about this from a fellow movie goer and looked into the great benefits!

Super COLD theater we sat in but the seats were much nicer here than their competitor. Sound was good. Very happy to bump into Yelp friend Jackie K as we were leaving. The aroma of the popcorn pervaded our tiny auditorium and much stronger in the lobby. Made me want to eat buttered popcorn big time right then and there. Worth the drive to come to a nicer theater in a good neighborhood. Luckily we found parking close to Ross area. Have a nice weekend FYI: HIFF's last day is tomorrow.

Rather than Rating the Theatre I'm rating movie just saw tonight HIFF Film not to be missed " Gift from the Kitchen " I'll definitely go look for Restaurant Fumin next time I'm in Tokyo Maybe If I'd get lucky enough to go to her house to dine serving one seating Now retired at age 70, she welcomes only one group per day at her house to dine, with each dish she prepares having a story behind it. ''The experience is a luxury for my guests, and for me, too,'' said the woman affectionately known as ''Mama.'' ''I've had a fair share of hardships, but it would be fantastic if I could give back to my guests and make them happy. How long do I plan to continue working? For the rest of my life, of course. This is all I know how to do." A love letter to the gift of thoughtful cooking, GIFTS FROM THE KITCHEN is a mouth-watering delight. It'll be shown again tomorrow at 1:30 pm at Kahala Theatre

Saturday June 28, 2025. F1 starring Brad Pitt was a really, really good movie! I would watch it again! Lucky for me, I earned a FREE admission to a movie. So, I used it and It saved me, $19.75! A large icee is $7.50 and a hot dog was $9.00! I could've bought 6 hot dogs from Costco. lol. Movies has gotten really expensive. But, it's the experience watching it right away in an electric reclining, comfortable, leather seat. lol. Plus, air conditioning too. If the movie happens to be slow and boring. A perfect place to take a nap. lol. I watched the whole movie.

I like this theater because it's large and clean. Parking is free at Kahala Mall. This theater has a variety of hot foods besides popcorn and sodas. Service is friendly and it has a separate ticket purchase area. The theater seating is the recliner type with a tray table. Pretty new as well. Bathroom area for men and women.

Been coming here since a kid for 35 years but haven't been in a very long time. Newly renovated. Very clean. Crate food. Legit loaded tots for around $10. That's a bargain. Also everyone was super nice.

Pretty good theatre. The seats recline so that's good and it's almost a must for me now to go to the theatres to watch a movie. The grounds were pretty clean too. I like how their popcorn portions are huge, but almost so huge that you'd need 4 people to finish it haha. I like how they had truffle flavor but so sad they didn't have kettle corn. I'm not a huge fan of butter flavor... Also surprisingly their chicken tenders and fries were really good. It's made to order so we got a buzzer to pick up our food. They came out hot and fresh, not too salty but well-seasoned at the same time! Overall great theatre I think!

We have not been to Kahala theater since the remodel. Before when we would come the flooring was all torn up and the seats were old. Not anymore!! They have plush, reclinable seats with a tray table. Large aisles to walk in. Super awesome! You can pick your seats ahead of time to get the best spot. They also have movie merch at the concession stand. We went during Moana 2 and everyone bought the items like crazy. Definitely a great theater to go to because it is not super crowded and it is small and intimate. There is also ample parking since it is located in Kahala Mall.

The entrance is slightly hidden so it can be hard to spot, the inside is super cozy with only about 16-18 comfy recliners, and you can bring your own blanket to get settled in. It feels very local and intimate. The owner said she's been in business since the 90s. A few things to know: you have to call ahead to make a reservation, tickets are $8 cash only, parking is in a paid lot, and masks are required (or you can buy one there for 50 cents). I think they used to allow outside food, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. It also looks like they've shifted focus--while they used to rent VHS and DVDs, now the movie screenings are the main draw. If you're looking for a cozy, community-style movie night, this place is absolutely worth your time!
