Saw a Beaches Hawaii coupon in Spotlight's "Big Island Gold" magazine and went on a search for this bikini shop. Hidden in the Ali'i Sunset Plaza, a small shop was found. Inside, there were bikinis and swimwear for women and swimsuits for kids and a section for guys. Everything was cute and so affordable. My problem was always finding a top that fit D's. The owner was there and patiently waited as I tried on at least 6 tops, asked a few questions and eventually helped me find a great fit and pattern. She really knew a lot about the suits, styles and brands. I am happy with my purchase. This place is my new go-to! Quick summary: affordable, knowledgable, friendly and helpful.

The first store I tried just left me feeling sad and depressed as the sizing was nowhere near what I am used to. So when I found this shop I entered in absolutel terror not knowing what I would find. As it turns out I found a true treasure of a store. The owner soothed my worries about the sizing and let me know that the sizing would be drastically different between brands and she turned out to be extremely knowledgable as to how each brand worked with sizing. She had some unique and super cute cover-ups and swimsuits. It definitely was not your average shop. Great inventory, good prices, and phenomenal service. I would highly recommend this shop for anybody looking for a good swimsuit. They also carry some great jewelry and super cute sunglasses.

I went to the Mana Lani store first because I thought it was bigger than the one in Waikoloa. I was wrong. I was looking to buy a shirt for my husband to celebrate our 46 years anniversary. Found a perfect one but not in his size. The lady called the Waikoloa Tommy Bahama store which is bigger than the Mana Lani store and reserved the right size. I went to the Waikoloa store and bought the shirt. Service was excellent in both locations. Expensive shirt but my husband loved it. Mission accomplished.

The selection is great, but year in and year out, the service gets worse and worse. This time was, the worst it has ever been... The doors were locked even though it was prime open hours (about 4pm). I saw half a dozen customers come to the store and be turned away because the doors were locked. I actually spoke with one the customers, and he said he had been checked the door several times in the past 15 minutes. I called the store, and only then did the girl materialize after about 15 minutes of waiting, and unlock the doors. While in the store, the sales girl made no attempt at helping us with finding product, selecting a size, etc. She made no attempt in any way to be helpful. It was truly amazing. My partner and I could not believe it. This girl was dead inside, and almost ruined a perfect day. I will say that Rip Curl really has to do better and their employee selection. Rip Curl makes wonderful items, and this store is a regular stop for me; they need to find better retail associates. Please! Be warned... Be careful... Parking is great. Store is generally clean, and this day it was full of boxes around the counter.
