I needed to get an EV charger installed. Called Kendrick Electric as they came highly recommended. They were very quick about getting me on their schedule and was installed very clean and nice within 48 hours of my request. They had to reconfigure the electrical panel to fit an upsized breaker to handle charging my EV. Cleaned up vary nice, the technician was very thorough and respectful. I gave this company 3 tries. All 3 times were a mistake. 1st try was for a cable line to be run into our basment but they didnt reply to my request until 2 weeks later and I already found a more responsive company. 2nd try, turns out they are partnered with my home warrenty, I had flickering lights. They said they would come between 3-4pm, didnt show up called at 430 to say we are behind we'll be there with in the hour. 730pm AT NIGHT, I get a text saying oops we didnt make it. They rescheduled me for next week and again I ask for a time fram, they said first thing in the morning 830-9am. I wait, the time comes and goes and at 11am I call my home warranty and go with someone else. It is NOT my job to be their schedule coordinator and hold them accountable for time slots. I am beyond disappointed with the service and accountability this company LACKS. A complete waste of my time. read more

Heavy snow and wind brought down a large tree branch from our neighbors tree that broke the mast on our main power to our house. Logan City came out and shut it off and disconnected it. I called Kendrick Electric at 9:45 am. He mentioned that they were swamped (and down a man) but somebody would swing by as soon as possible and see when they might be able to get to it. Much to my surprise he called me back around 10:15 and said they were in the neighborhood and could squeeze it in. :) I went home to take my lunch at 11:30 and they were there working. By the time I finished lunch they were done and on to the next job. They even called Logan City for me to tell them to come out and hook it back up. By the time I got home from work everything was back to normal. (except for the tree branches that need to be dealt with) They did great work, were very responsive and professional. For Adam, the electrician who came and did the actual electrical installation, I would give a five star rating. He was nice professional did great work and was overall very satisfying to deal with. Corey, the owner was fast and friendly to come out and give me a bid right away. The reason I gave Kendrick electric a two star rating is because of Jeff the office person. I don't know why he works in that position. Every time I called, it felt like I was starting all over again. He does not know how to communicate with those around him. Every time I called I would always get "well I need to talk with Cory and I'll get back with you", which he rarely did. At one point I had to call him every single day for two weeks to get answers to my questions because he had no clue. I had to work with my neighbor to run an electrical service line across his yard in the air and by having Jeff relay to my neighbor why it needed to go where it did, caused so much confusion and frustration. I know Kendrick Electric was busy with jobs, but it probably took much longer than it should have, because Jeff doesn't know how to do the job for which he works in. When I have another electrical job that I need done, if I have to deal with Jeff again, I will just go with someone else. read more

They did an excellent job with the install and working with the propane company. They showed up on time and did the work in a timely manner.

Both times we requested services from Kendrick Electric was through our home warranty. We have to call into a central line and the warranty company then books the services, and the service company calls us. The first time we had Kendrick Electric out, it went off without a hitch, which is why they're garnering two stars. The technician was professional, the plug now works great, and all was well. The second time, we called our warranty company, and they said Kendrick should call us within two business days. When that didn't happen, I called them during business hours (on both numbers they have listed), but they didn't answer, so I left a message. A week later, still nothing, so I called again during usual business hours. They didn't call back again that time, either. I tried once more. Still no call back. Twenty-five days after the initial call, I was getting tired of waiting (and the constant misfires from our wiring in the house) and called on a Saturday. Again, no answer. So, I left a message and said to please call by end of day if they wanted to respond to our service request. They never did call back (still haven't), so we called and cancelled the request with our warranty company, and another company is coming out on Friday. I'm sure with the weather warming up, they're swamped, but to ignore four phone calls and messages just didn't sit well with me. If you can get through to them and set up an appointment, great. If not... well, good luck getting through to them. read more

Our ancient smoke alarm hardwired system kept going off, and to stop it we had to turn off the breaker which included our cooler. It was 100 degrees outside. Kendrick responded right away so that we could turned the cooler back on, and they quickly replaced the alarms. Just excellent customer service! read more
