Not only do they HIGHLY undervalue items but they also destroyed property moving furniture out. A 7 foot long scratch was left on a wood floor, with a witness there to see it occur. Their reaction when they were called about it was that we are paying the witness to lie. What business owner reacts this way? So when you go in there and see all the items, remember.....they take advantage of people in their grief, and are extremely unprofessional in all capacities. I would rather donate my things next time to someone grateful for it, rather than someone trying to take advantage and ruin my property without so much as an apology. They have really good condition, high quality, solid wood, vintage furniture for shockingly low prices. I seriously bought a dresser, a coffee table, two end tables and a desk AND had them delivered for under $700. I shopped around too. I am aware of the prices, quality and selection at other used and new furniture stores in Eugene. This store is a freaking gem. Every aspect of shopping here was incredible, from browsing to delivery. I actually felt compelled to go back and thank them. How often are you THAT happy with a purchase?

The employee or volunteer also reprimanded us saying this is not customer parking, I said there is no parking in the front and she said I know! We didn't move the car went into shop. I can usually find something here, they have a good stock and the shelves are fairly organized. The people working here are friendly but can be hard to track down. The parking lot is huge and pretty easy to navigate, but it can be hard to get out of when exiting onto West 11th because it's a narrow and slightly blind turn. The bathrooms are coded, to save you the effort the codes are 1010 for the men's bathroom and 2020 for the women's. Not sure when that will change though.

I rode my bike to this location and brought my backpack to bring home my treasures in. I had my helmet attached to my backpack as well. Not two seconds after grabbing a basket, I heard a woman say to her co-workers "I've got this one." She almost sounded gleeful. This lady had blonde-ish hair in a pony tail and glasses. I'm not sure if she is a manager there but her energy definitely gave off a "I love telling people what to do" vibe. When she approached me, she bluntly stated that backpacks were not allowed in the store and "offered" that I could put my backpack in the breezeway "at my own risk." I responded "the breezeway?" and she proceeded to explain what a breezeway was, as opposed to acknowledging how utterly ridiculous it is to expect a person to leave their belongings in an unsecured area because of an arbitrary rule that allows her to discriminate people at will. I understand the argument as to why backpacks aren't allowed. I'm just saying, if you're going to enforce a pathetic guideline like that you should at least offer folks, and I mean everyone who walks through that door, a safe place to stow their stuff. When I left, this lady said "sorry" but I could tell she really wasn't. Very much in line with her initial vibe, her tone and energy were giving that she derives pleasure from being the Big Boss Lady in Charge™. The exchange was less than a minute total but the impression she left was absolutely foul. I'd say she could use some training but sadly, compassion is not something you can teach a full-grown adult.

Ok, so customer service is lacking, despite there being no shortage of employees. Selection is okay. Nothing that really fits my style. But the prices were pretty decent for being a thrift store. It didn't feel like they marked used items close to new prices the way GoodWill does. So that's a plus. The store was clean, spacious, and organized. Would I return? Nope. There was nothing egregiously wrong with my experience here. But I was bored. There was nothing memorable about it, and nothing to bring me back. Honestly, if it weren't for Yelp and documenting my experiences of places, this is one I'd have already forgotten about. It was that bland and boring to me.
