I have had great experiences with this establishment, its volunteers and staff are extremely respectful and are grateful for donations. I like to know I'm donating to a cause I can actually support. The programs they provide support Women and children. I am proud to shop and donate to this store. The selection is great especially during the holidays. The price is very reasonable. I have been a long time customer of this store (as well as many other locations in the sate). This store has a new policy that they will no longer accept any bills larger than a $20. I was about to walk out the door and leave what I was buying right there on the counter, take my money and my additional donation out the door with me until a very friendly customer offered to make change for me. I talked to the "manager" and she was not a friendly person and was rather condescending. This new policy of hers is going to end up costing them a LOT of money in lost sales and credit card charges. Her excuse was that they are a non-profit and therefore can not keep very much cash on hand for making change. This is the first time I have ever seen ANY non-profit unwilling to make change for a $50. This new policy will certainly make me think twice about going there in the future. read more

Super thrift always has something good. I'd only pick the sale tags for clothing, but books and toys run nicely cheap all the time. I've gotten some high quality work boots for only $8 here and the staff is always SO kind. A staff member today literally put batteries in the toy so i could make sure it works. They have come a long way with the rebranding from Teen Challenge. Now SuperThrift! Clearly a lot of time and money has been spent to clean the place up and make it feel less sad to visit. It now looks much better, I just wish they had more inventory. Many aisles or sections only have a few items in it. Prices are very reasonable unlike most of the other National chain thrift stores in town. read more

I have shopped here before and the place is a little junky but the people have been OK to deal with. On this visit I was "helped" by Casey. He was condescending and I was obviously bothering him with my question. I asked him to honor their online discount on my in store visit with cash. He said he had been there for a year and had never seen the discount that they offer on line. Then he just walked away. He was pretty rude. I was surprised. Then the blond lady at the counter helped the customer behind me and said that she did not. She was also quite rude. Too bad, sometimes this store has been good to deal with. read more

I love this store. Prices are great. Employees wonderful. I have read some negative reviews and I want to ask why did you not talk to manager? The kids working are learning and some were never taught proper work ethics and they won't if they are not taught. I have seen treatment in other Thrift stores that were uncalled for so customers need to inform company so it will be fixed. This is a particularly good thrift store for furniture, they have a much bigger and more reasonably priced selection than Goodwill or St Vinnies. Friendly staff and a nice open layout. They also have a large school supplies/craft section as well. Purchases here support their faith-based drug recovery programs so if church stuff makes you twinge maybe skip this place. They will likely be playing Christian music of some kind. read more

I've been in here a handful of times, usually just to shop clothes, and maybe housewares, i think. I don't think i've ever managed to buy any housewares, but i've bought a few shirts, at least. My most recent experience here was negative enough that i'll not shop here again. I get the impression the employees here tend to be, or are trained to be...prejudiced. If you don't look the part of a middle-aged casually-dressed mom/housewife, you stand a good chance of being discriminated against. I was looking at some clothes on a rack, and a couple of staff members requested that i move, as they shifted away the rack i was going through. I didn't think too much of it, until it happened a second time. It would have been a little more polite to give a 30-second warning prior to pulling the rack away from a customer. I managed to find a couple of things i wanted to try on. When i went to the dressing room, there was a sign that said it was closed due to theft. So i went to the front counter, to wait in line and find out if there was any chance of trying my items on. While i was waiting, another staff member escorted a middle-aged lady to the dressing room and let her in. "Ooo, it's not actually closed, we just have to check in with staff so they can keep an eye on us." So i asked the lady who had escorted the other customer to the dressing room, if i could try on my items when she got a moment. She looked me over and said no, and that they couldn't open the dressing rooms now, because they've had problems. I was a bit shocked by the double-standard, and dropped the handful of clothes i had planned on buying. I'm sorry to have financially supported this store in the past. I don't agree with unfair treatment of patrons, or discrimination, based on looks, and this store does exactly that. read more

Love this place, we've found our dining table and a few other furniture items here for very cheap prices. A lot of unique items too!

I shop here a couple times a week and I never leave without finding a bargain! The Ladies who run the store are Wonderful!

Great prices and everybody in the store was very friendly and helpful. We're from Stayton but would love to visit again.

They have great prices they always have some huge sale like 50% off all inventory or 45% off of all furniture and their turnaround is excellent .I find their staff really helpful and friendly, the one thing that I do not like is that they don't allow any returns no matter what. Not too shabby (no pun intended ) furniture , they have some really beautiful couches in there and like I said the turnovers is great. I would definitely shop there if I needed some furniture I've gotten some small pieces and several beautiful ornaments for my tables and shelves, I collect art objects and anything else that's pretty. I think that the prices are way better than all the other second hand stores, some of those are getting outrageous. It's pleasant and I like stopping by there. read more

This place is horrible! They treat you as if you are going the steal. To add insult to injury they lurk outside the dressing room and take the clothes u tried on and count them! This is after you take your "large bag" aka my purse to the car when they tell me to check it at the counter... Some nerve! I'm supposed to trust you with my purse that holds my wallet,keys,and whatever else is in there because you think I will steal all the stuff people gave to you for free! They could be A LOT more discreet about watching people. Plus their prices are high. read more

RACIST!!! I went in to purchase a dresser I asked a male employee to put it on hold for me because I left my wallet at home. The male employee was off putting but said he would hold the dresser for me. When I returned I brought my brother with me to help load the dresser. When I walked up to the front desk the woman jumped at the sight of my brother, I ignored her reaction and told her I had come in earlier and had put a dresser on hold. I was told there was no dresser because it had been sold. She said if I had put it on hold I should have left a name. I was confused and asked to speak to the man who had put it on hold for me. She told my brother and I that she would be right back. We watched her walk over to a group of employees where she pointed at my brother and I while everyone else stared. They gave dirty looks while my brother and I waited. She was over there for about 10-15 minutes before another woman came over. This was the owner. I introduced myself and told her that I was here for for a dresser I put on hold no more than 45 minutes ago. She cut me off and said it was sold. I explained that I had put it on hold and she told me that they didn't hold products. I expressed to her my confusion. The male employee said he would hold it, the female employee said they only hold things under a name, and the owner said they don't hold items at all. I told her that maybe everyone should be up to speed on policy to avoid this type of confusion. She then proceeded to tell me that the employees should be cut some slack because most of them are struggling teens, hence the name Teen Challenge. The male employee was at least 30 and the female employee no younger than 25. My brother chimed in that we were struggling teens with a single mother, single income and students. She apologized in a snarky tone and offered me a coupon I politely declined saying "no thank you, I won't be shopping here again". She then raised her voice at my brother and I yelling about us being disrespectful when I cut her off and told her she was being unprofessional. She then swatted and me and screamed at us to leave. While we exited she continued screaming "get out of my store, your never aloud in here again". We left and haven't been back since. Now let me just say my brother and I are both biracial, my brother is a good 5'11 and I have a loud speaking voice. We were both raised to respect people in general but especially adults. I feel that I handle the situation in a proper manner and was still profiled and treated with disrespect. I suggest taking your business else where if you are looking for good quality second hand items and a good experience. read more
