It was so balmy in their if I closed my eyes I could almost imagine I was somewhere tropical. They also have a sauna/hot room, and it felt amazing to step inside after swimming hard and just let the heat permeate your body. In order to gain entrance you have to either be with an alum who has a membership or a student. I haven't been to the gym part, but I heard it's really nice! Nevertheless, these domes have varied plants from different parts of the world which were amazing to see. The Show Dome has a small short bridge and a gazebo which were nice areas to take pictures. A small gift shop sells some small plants, magnets, shirts, jewelry, pins, etc. Overall, it's a good place to visit.

I'm not sure how this happened but MPS/Milwaukee Recreation got some hotshot architectural firm to renovate outdoor facilities one or two at a time and they've been transforming these neighborhood little parks into wonderful places to play. There's a century old little fieldhouse that will be expanded, the playground will be updated, the baseball field will be repurposed into an ethnically more appropriate soccer pitch and they plan a basketball court and a shady area for picnics. The neighborhood got to vote on a few different designs. As it is now, it's an okay playground and a dusty little used baseball sandlot. It is about to become much more.
