I was so happy to see that they also have very options for kids of all different spaces, sizes and needs including a specialized swing for those in wheelchairs. My twin toddlers absolutely loved the play place. They explored both sides even though one side is for a little bit younger and one side is for a little bit olderis older. They really like the slides and the more advanced side. But, they've never seen the old school spring riders before and the kiddie side had two! They got a kick out of that and it made me feel nostalgic. We will definitely return to this playground again and again and again. The kids loved it and other than ONE entryway, the entire playground is enclosed which also helps to give piece of mind while you're watching your littles.

I hadn't planned on going to this playground, heck, I had never heard of it before... But, our plans to head to the zoo got foiled by the massive lines from the free Senior day. So, I opened Yelp, searched for playground, and this beauty popped up. Yelp, you saved the day, yet again! The little kids side (2-5) is unique, but in a positive way. I feel like most little kids areas are the same basic=boring setup. It sorta reminded me of the old woman who lived in a shoe, with a sloped roofline and misshapen/unbalanced look. This area had ringing music notes, a track to run little cars/balls down, a crawling tube, a spinning giant glass marble, on top of the slides, climbing ladders, etc. Plus, there was a dedicated little kids swing set, with two toddler swings, two regular swings, and then the much loved yet hard to find toddler/parent combo swing!!! The big kids side includes a four seat seesaw, an accessible swaying "boat", multiple climbing walls, a standing gravity spinner, five slides, "concessions stand", a dedicated big kids swing set with accessible swing, and more. All of this included old shade trees, overlooked the diamond, and was a short walk from the bathrooms. Kudos to West Allis for installing a truly great and unique playground.

We walk here often on weekend mornings, and enjoy a walk through the park, and a sit under the Magic Grove sculpture, by artist Nancy Metz White. There is a small playground here, a field house, and remnants of a time when parks were thriving. The Farmer's Market here is small, but nice. This is a nice neighborhood and a nice little park.

There are some kid playground areas, a basketball hoop (it deserves a few more of those, honestly), there's a great walking loop, running up the stairs, and wildlife (we heard and saw a redtailed hawk recently), and lots of green space! I think the bottom of the hill to the north deserves a bandshell, as the slope up the hill would make a perfect "Chill on the Hill 2" space for music and neighborhood gatherings. Just when you think you've seen MKE at its finest along comes another breathtaking spot to view the place from. The latest spot has one the most spectacular views I've experienced to date. You can see all of downtown and even as far out as Lake Michigan when it's clear. The place is Kilbourn Park! Reading fellow Yelpers reviews I am floored that this was once a closed off area and you couldn't even get around up top to experience it. Either way it is what it is now a beautiful park for all to enjoy! It is what I would call the edge of Riverwest proper. If you look back to the North you will see the tallest site in Riverwest, Our Lady Divine Providence church, with its stunning green roof standing there all alone in all its glory. Love walking through this city and taking all the sites in!
