Went with a Girl Scout Troop and they loved it!! The owner was so informative and clearly loves what she does.

We…read morecame here for a girl's weekend and although a bit pricey compared to nearby accommodations; we figured it was worth it to be so close to the downtown area. We were absolutely CORRECT. The Lambertville Station is the perfect place to have a romantic getaway or a girls' weekend thanks to their lovely rooms and extremely comfy beds. We were given a room on the first floor with the most perfect view of the river and part of Lambertville, and I almost forgot that this was the middle of my winter depression season. The fireplace and self serve bar when you enter really give you a nice place to settle you into your vacation. Then they are surrounded by delicious restaurants and cafes to visit for a quick bite. Although make sure to get your free breakfast because it come from a nearby Parisian bakery and although the coffee is as bad as Dunkin Donuts, the pastries are divine. I highly recommend doing a few vineyards after checking in, but if you don't want to go far, Tomasello's has tastings and so does the Food Hall on the side of New Hope (which is walking distance). We also liked that they kept our bags after check out so we could get a massage and therefore leave New Hope in complete serenity. There is also tons of free parking, which is nice compared to downtown Philly hotels where that is usually extra. Overall, I thought it was a lovely stay, we stayed in the Cape May room (I also like that each room has a name) and enjoyed the dark and creepy old vibes from the hotel. It truly made you feel like a part of the historic area.

The place is "always" clean and this goes for the bathroom as well. The waitresses are always pleasant and to be brutally honest, there's a restaurant right next door that serves basically the same food items and actually gets more business but I would rather have quiet and peaceful and normal settings and environment than a lot of people who are waiting in line for upwards of 30 minutes to be seated, when you're really hungry. The food is great and my hats off to the cook and my hats off to the cleanliness of this establishment. Cleaniness of a restaurant in entering a place,is %99.9 for me.I recommend this place for children, elderly and also the handicap. Should I say more? I don't think I need to. Bon Apetite

We were the only visitors that…read moreday, which was really nice, and we're so grateful to Danielle and Bill for sharing their farm and animals from time to time. We were lucky that the weather cooperated that day, meaning it was a perfect day to visit the farm and not too hot or humid. We visited with four Nigerian dwarf goats, 10 weeks old. They were adorable and so sweet. Danielle is doing a Hobbit and Lord of the Rings theme, which I think is great, so the goats (all male) are Frodo, Sam(wise), Merry, and Pippin. We got to feed them and pet them and just watch them being happy goats, which was really therapeutic. After that, we spent time with the alpacas. Bill showed us how to walk them on a halter. They weren't in the mood for that that day, which was fine with me and my sister. We wanted what was best for the animals. We got to feed them and hose them down a little, and we learned a lot about both the goats and alpacas. Danielle was an elementary schoolteacher, and so she's great at communication and putting you at ease. They saved the alpacas they have from overcrowded conditions, so we were very happy to hear that. Now the alpacas can spread out and soak up the open space. I looked at various alpaca farms online, and there are many. Why did I choose Whispering Pines? Because they offered the longest visit with the animals and farm in general, and they just sounded like the best. We're very happy we chose them. Rest assured, Danielle and Bill give their animals lots and lots of TLC. After visiting with the animals, my sister and I had lunch on the farm at a picnic table, relaxing in the peace and quiet, watching the alpacas and the goats. Danielle was extremely generous with her time, and so thoughtful with little touches that have a big impact and make you feel special. For example, when we arrived, there was a sign with our names on it welcoming us. At the end of the visit, we got gift bags with our names on them, thanking us for visiting. Honestly, we can't thank Danielle and Bill enough. Our visit was worth way more than what we paid in money; we have a lifetime of memories.
