When people say money doesn't buy happiness, then they must not know about Lambertville Station. We came here for a girl's weekend and although a bit pricey compared to nearby accommodations; we figured it was worth it to be so close to the downtown area. We were absolutely CORRECT. The Lambertville Station is the perfect place to have a romantic getaway or a girls' weekend thanks to their lovely rooms and extremely comfy beds. We were given a room on the first floor with the most perfect view of the river and part of Lambertville, and I almost forgot that this was the middle of my winter depression season. The fireplace and self serve bar when you enter really give you a nice place to settle you into your vacation. Then they are surrounded by delicious restaurants and cafes to visit for a quick bite. Although make sure to get your free breakfast because it come from a nearby Parisian bakery and although the coffee is as bad as Dunkin Donuts, the pastries are divine. I highly recommend doing a few vineyards after checking in, but if you don't want to go far, Tomasello's has tastings and so does the Food Hall on the side of New Hope (which is walking distance). We also liked that they kept our bags after check out so we could get a massage and therefore leave New Hope in complete serenity. There is also tons of free parking, which is nice compared to downtown Philly hotels where that is usually extra. Overall, I thought it was a lovely stay, we stayed in the Cape May room (I also like that each room has a name) and enjoyed the dark and creepy old vibes from the hotel. Came to Lambertville to play a gig with my band in New Hope. Decided to make a little vacation out of it for my wife and I, and booked a room at the nearby Lambertville Station Inn. (FYI New Hope is a short walk to the Pennsylvania side of the river). I read good things about this place and was not disappointed. Geoff the manager made me feel welcome at check-in and was a wealth of knowledge about the area which boasts tons great places to eat and shop. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The king size beds are great. Another neat amenity was we ordered breakfast which was delivered exactly on time to our room. Spent an overnighter here celebrating my husband's 64th birthday. What a delightful inn. Hospitality was first class. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Rooms were restful, clean, comfortable. Loved their in-room continental breakfast service. So much to see and do in this town. We will most definitely be back. read more

First, there is a handicapped ramp and parking on the side of the hotel. The main entrance is a series of steps and heavy door. This might be noted as a concern for some. Our room was nice, clean, and had a partial view if the brook and Delaware River, a short drive or walk over the bridge to New Hope.The location is perfect, and the adjacent restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating The only drawback to our weekday getaway was being awoken by lawn cutting and brush trimming as early as 8:15 am. Breakfast was continental and consisted of coffee and two baked pastry on a tray left outside the door at 9am. Well noting, there is an elevator from a small, rustic lobby to the floors above. The bed feels worn down. The towels are itchy & smell like they came out of a dirty washer & dryer; almost like a jail smell to them. The soap is cheap with no scent nor relief for the skin. The shampoo, conditioner, & lotion are too tiny, cheap cleaner, & the scent is like vomit with mangos. The phone & clock is old & out of style. Our car club ended a Sunday drive here. Lots of people arriving at once. It could have been mayhem except the staff stepped up and accommodated us with quiet dignity and grace (name the movie quoted). The menu for our club consisted of a soup or salad (chicken barley deemed excellent or a green salad also quite fresh and tasty) entree of beef, chicken or shrimp with sides. My very fussy friend had the beef and said it was just ok, I had the shrimp / Greek salad and really enjoyed it. The dessert options were lemon moose or ice cream. I had the ice cream and thought the chocolate encrusted rich confection was wonderful. My very fussy friend agreed. Another friend had the moose and ate every scoop with gusto. All good. Considering the limitations of serving a large group well on a busy day, overall these folks hit a home run. I'm sure individuals arriving as regular patrons would have an even better experience. Also, the lively bar scene down in the fireplace room looked like a great date spot. Service, good food, atmosphere, ample safe parking and a responsive, professional staff make this a must try eatery. Give it a try. read more

Very cozy place in the heart of Lambertville and New Hope. I stayed here with my fiancée for one night during the COVID pandemic. The hotel is over 30 years old but has been remodeled over the years. 3 floors, about 40-50 rooms total, 1 elevator and staircase, grand fireplace and sitting area by the checkin desk, and a dining area (closed during COVID). Plenty of parking spots in their parking lot so you don't have to park on the curb. The suites themselves are incredibly clean and cozy that come with a comfortable king sized bed, a gas fireplace, marble tiles in the bathroom, TV, free wifi, Kurig coffee maker, desk and couch. Included with your stay is a $25 dollar voucher from the nearby restaurant as well as room service, and a continental breakfast. Check in is at 3 but sometimes they allow for early check in depending on availability (wasn't able to get it). Check out is at 11 but they allow late checkout on occasion (worked for me til 12). Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Room service was amazing. Delivered within 15 minutes of calling. The food itself was fairly delicious as well. I had the angus burger with chips and my fiancée had the fish tacos. The ice cream truffle was a sweet desert and tasted almost exactly like a Klondike ice cream sandwich. Wine was available for purchase in the lobby. Minor complaint. I did appreciate the free continental breakfast that was included with our room but expected something more. It came with coffee, tea, your choice of juice (apple, orange), two croissants and two slices of cake. It led me to believe that maybe I filled out the form wrong (which you prepare in advance and leave on your door knob). Breakfast is brought directly to your room whenever you specify between 6-9am. Overall we both had a fun time. Would come back again and I would recommend it. read more

Lambertville Station is great! I went to the sports bar downstairs to watch an Eagles game and found out they don't have cable and could not find the game on any free web based stations. The bartender was very friendly and we felt bad everyone walked out of the bar but if you are going to have a sports bar you should be able to air the local favorites. read more

The place was very nice and the restaurant was lovely, but the ac was so loud and turning on and off all night, we couldn't sleep. When I questioned it the next day they said that's the way those ac's work and offered ear plugs for a future stay! This is a response to the manager who wrote a rebuttal. Although we had a very nice Christmas brunch, it was completely ruined with your ridiculous "credit card processing fee" surcharge. The amount of the surcharge is irrelevant, it is the point of the matter, as it is the cost of doing business. If you cannot afford it, then do NOT be in business. The restaurant industry is the only industry that charges these ridiculous fees. Who walks around with this kind of cash? The grocery store, department store, pharmacy and so forth, do not charge their customers for paying with a credit card. Secondly, there is NO mention of this charge on your website! Had I known, I would have booked a reservation at another restaurant. My initial instinct was to deduct the surcharge from the server's gratuity. However, this isn't her doing, so I did not want to punish her, especially as she gave us good service. Your restaurant is usually very busy and you're making out like bandits with this charge, as I am sure most of all your customers pay with a credit card! This is an absolute disgrace, even more so for a business of your size. Maybe, if it was a small "mom and pop" restaurant, I would be a little more understanding. Until this charge is removed, I will NEVER dine at this establishment again! I hope your future customers read this review, as it is the only way they will be forewarned about this charge, until it is too late. You should be ashamed of yourselves! This restaurant is beautiful and inviting. It is filled with interesting objects and is stately yet subdued. The service is excellent as our server was attentive but not intrusive. Also, she anticipated our needs and was one of the few servers who asked the diner if it was ok to remove the plate after eating! Most places just thrust an arm in front of the diner and swipe the plate away as if to say,"Times up!" We ordered the Greek shrimp salad which was delicious. Dressings were varied and delicious. The shrimp was almost heavily salted which is an issue for sodium restricted diets. Other than that it was an awesome luncheon. Drove an hour and a half to commemorate a lunch for my deceased husband with my 7 pound ESA dog, who is quiet as a mouse and they would not even allow me to sit outdoors with my certified letter! Yum! Just finished eating there and had a great experience! My husband had the cheese plate as an appetizer. He never eats cheese and bread really, and he barely left anything. He said it was possibly the best appetizer he has ever had. For dinner he had the wild boar and liked it. I had the filet and it was cooked perfectly. There was an ample amount of asparagus that came with the dish. I hate when restaurants don't give enough asparagus and Lambertville Station delivered. For an appetizer I had the lobster and crab bisque. It had chunks of seafood and was very tasty. I would have liked it a tad hotter though. Overall it was a fantastic meal. We were told the hotel was keeping the rooms open for a better offer, hopefully a wedding. Next they canceled our dinner reservation for 12 the night of the memorial. We stayed in a King room and we could tell it was thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before we checked in. Upon checking in, the front desk staff asked what was the reason for our stay and I told her it was supposed to be our wedding weekend (thanks covid). After we went out to dinner, we came back to the room to champagne and chocolates compliments of the supervisor (I believe her name is Ashley) for our original wedding date. We were grateful for such a nice gesture! Our hotel room was cozy and the hotel itself is in a great location. Just a few minutes walk to downtown Lambertville and steps away from the bridge into New Hope, PA. We walked over the bridge every day of our stay. read more

Lambertville Station Restaurant is a good place to have a drink, either outside or in the pub as well as to enjoy a nice meal, be it lunch or dinner. The setting is beautiful; the staff very accommodating and friendly. The food is good but not all that special. The giant bowl of gazpacho and the fresh oysters were, again, just good. The half duck was, for my taste, overpowered by the sauce as was the wild rice. The Lancaster Chicken entree with gruyere cheese was a standout. With 2 beers and an iced tea, the bill, before tip, came to around $100. I would check out other places in the immediate area before returning here for dinner. read more

We were there for the lite fare menu time which is between lunch and dinner, 3PM to 4PM. Two of us had the Lobster and Crab Bisque and the Dunk & Dip roast Beef Sandwich. Went here for a wedding. The views are beautiful. The food is good. The drinks were mixed to perfection. So why the one stare review ? I will explain. We had left my daughters cell phone on the table. We went to put some items in our vehicle. The waitress took this as a cue to steal my daughters phone. We were asking her if she had seen it. She said no. I called it and it lit up and was vibrating in her pocket. My wife snatched it out of her pocket and she said she didn't realize it was in there. We had other family members who were still at the table and they were asking as well and she said she hadn't seen it. What a lowlife piece of garbage. To steal a phone from a 14 year old girl with autism. We spoke to the maitre d. He listened but offered no apology or assistance. This human piece of scum. This mongrel. Should have been fired on the spot. It's a shame. It was a nice place. My rating has to do with the fact they offer a delicious Gf bread. Food is a good 3 starts though. It's a nice place, particularly the wine cellar downstairs. **I am updating my review after the owner Rose reached out to me regarding my bad experience. She is an owner that cares, and that is not always found in today's world. She was apologetic and asked us to come back and give us a second try. She advised that they had recently let go of some employees, and were aware of issues they were having. My now fiancé, no longer boyfriend and I went this past weekend with my Best friend and her husband. The waitress we had was stellar (wish I could remember her name) The wine selections were excellent. I had the almond chicken which was delicious, I will be back for that dish again. My best friend had the cider pork which was also amazingly tasty. My fiancé wasn't too thrilled with the duck, but his grapefruit gin cocktail was different and delish. Our second time around was very enjoyable, romantic and the restaurants ambiance is very cozy.
