I have not been to this shop for a while; I was near by and decided to stop by. This review is strictly for their Tonkotsu Ramen. I noticed that they serve Ramen bowls now. Since I like Ramen bowl especially cold winter day, I ordered their Tonkotsu Ramen bowl. First off, it took quite long time this ramen bowl to be served...almost 30 minutes. This was a negative thing for sure. At a glance of served ramen bowl, it looked good. Size and toppings seemed to be promising after a long wait. First taste of Tonkotsu soup was...well, very luke warm, really. Soup of ramen bowl should be temperature hot accordingly; but this soup was really luke warm. It unfortunately tasted like very deluted Tonkotsu broth...no flavor but just tasted salt and weak hint of broth. Thin straight noodles were overcooked and mushed texture; this made it worse as noodles were also not hot. Toppings were generous, I shall say. Green beggie was refreshing and chashu pork was good. Hopefully they can improve serving time, soup temperature and noodle boil time. read more

I went probably half a dozen times in 2025. Every time the food was fresh and well prepared. The specialty rolls are great. On my last visit I had something called Snow White?? I think? It was a seasonal/ holiday roll and it was a winner. The service is great. Everyone knows the menu and when asked, make excellent recommendations. I highly recommend this place. read more

The sushi was prepared fairly quickly and the restaurant itself was super clean. The food was great! You can tell they want to prepare high quality dishes and use fresh ingredients. We particularly enjoyed the tuna pizza, such a fun & light appetizer! They also gave us a free small appetizer while we waited which we thought was so kind! After our meal, they provided honeydew pieces to cleanse the platter. Would definitely return in the future! Glad to have found this place in Montgomery County. read more

Food and service were great, everything was fresh and prepared well. Everything came out very quickly and as far as sushi goes they were comparable to most of the other places in this area. The atmosphere does have a bit of a fast food vibe to the dining room, it's bright and not very intimate. With that said the prices are more on the side where you'd think the dining experience should be more personal. Not that the food quality wasn't good it just wasn't to the caliber of the price alone. Overall, I would rate this as a would go back if I was near by, but wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again. read more

I can finally get some great sushi without having to drive 20+ minutes away from home. The ambiance is bright and clean. Even though I opted for takeout for this visit, the staff was courteous. I ordered the miso soup with a spicy tuna roll and the twin salmon roll. So happy with the soup which had a good ratio of seaweed to silken tofu. The spicy tuna is just a staple item for me. Their twin salmon is so good! The sashimi grade tuna and salmon used for the rolls is of high quality. Waiting for my husband to take me back for a date night haha! read more

But today, we ordered two Chirashi bowls and rolls, and the white tuna sashimi pieces were spoiled. Both people eating the Chirashi had to spit it out and dispose the leftover food. We got edamame (which had the perfect amount of salt and came out hot) and 6-piece Gyoza (pork potstickers) and Phoenix Roll (a tiny bit spicy) as appetizers, and we loved all of them! Two words.. THE BEST!! Stopped in here for lunch & had one of the best sushi meals my wife & I have ever had. All of the staff were super nice & service was great. Everything was very clean & new! The house salad & miso soup were delicious to start. Then I had the tuna poke salad which was so fresh & tasty. Then for the entrees we enjoyed various sushi rolls & nigiri combos. All were outstanding- all of the fish was very fresh, tender, sliced well, & the rice was soft & cooked to perfection. Also, everything that was tempura'd was great... delicate yet had tasteful crunch on the outside. We also enjoyed a nice little mochi dessert which was made to perfection. We're so glad to have found this place. Officially now the best sushi place in the neighborhood that the Perkasie area was missing! Disappointed. Order was wrong. Got dry limp tough Octopus instead of Sea Trout. Sea Eel was dry and over salted. Inconsistent, some of the Sashimi was a generous size, but they couldn't bother to cut it into standard sashimi bite sizes. In addition to all of the above, it took them twice as long to deliver the order than estimated. I am only 9 min away. Glad I did not drive to pick it up. I seldom write reviews, but Hayabei Sushi absolutely warrants one. I visited with friends, and we were all impressed by the clean, open interior. Moreover, the staff was simply wonderful -- I know they just opened a few months ago, but our waitress went above and beyond to make our experience great and ensure we could try some things. For example, she brought out soup for all of us to have, on the house, even though only one of us actually ordered it. Additionally, for dessert, one of us only ordered the mochi, but she brought out an extra sample plate for us to try, once again on the house. This is how you build business and loyal customers!
