I have lunch at IZU Sushi once or twice a week. The food and service is always top notch. I usually have the sushi/sashimi combo. Always fresh and full of flavor. The service is always great. Ben and his staff always provide prompt service (always with a smile). Nice soft music playing in the background is very pleasant. It's also a plus that Lansdale has 12:00-2:00pm free parking. My favorite sushi place of all time! I always compare every piece of sushi I ever eat to what I get here. I have to start out also by saying the service is incredible here and so consistent. As for the food, if you come here once, you'll probably become a regular. My favorite is the mango dream roll. You can't get that anywhere else! I wish I had a picture, but I'll have to grab it next time. I think I wanted to eat it so much that I couldn't wait to take a photo. But, truly everything I get here has been fantastic. It's one of the few places around that every member of my family can agree on is a good place for dining out! Major credit to them for having such a diverse menu while also including a ton of options for someone who doesn't eat fish. Love love love Izu!! It was Christmas day and we were desperate for something delicious for dinner and we were so lucky the hardworking staff at Izu was in. The Party Platter with all the special rolls ($90) was delicious! It had everything we wanted except Shrimp Tempura, which we just ordered more on the side. Their Shrimp Tempura rolls are INCREDIBLE - I've been to so many sushi places but this is the only place that gives TWO tempura pieces per roll. It was amazing. Their seaweed salad is also great - and the quantity is twice that of any other sushi place. On top of everything, service was extremely quick and they were so friendly. This has become my go-to sushi spot since Covid started! I've tried MANY of their rolls and have never been disappointed. My son is a fan of their sweet potato tempura and salmon rolls. Fuji Morning is a favorite of mine because it's unlike anything I've had from another place. If you're looking for a vegan roll, I recommend the Veg Mango Dream. It's a little sweet from the mango sauce on top but balances well with a little soy sauce. If you like spicy, get the Angry Dragon Roll and do not skip over the honey miso sauce! It's so refreshing. The Volcano Roll is another great spicy roll as well. The Sunflower Roll is unique and delicious with a little sweetness to it, so eat it toward the end of your meal as a dessert roll. I order from here a couple times a month and highly recommend Izu Sushi! read more

Some friends brought take out from Izu to my house on Friday. The shrimp shumai and the pork gyoza were very good. The teriyaki steak over thin lo mein noodles was fantastic. The steak was sliced thin and was very tender. So far everything is great. The fried rice was a let down. It was a bit soggy although it had a lot of chicken in it. I normally go for the basic rolls, and my wife generally gets the nigiri or sashimi. They are probably the best we've had in the area.
