I've been enjoying GREAT sushi from Misoy for the past 5 years. I have brought their sushi platters to many parties and events. Everyone loves it! You can't miss!!!

I really love Misoya Sushi! Almost every time I shop at Assi I get sushi from Misoya. They offer basic rolls, sushi, and sashimi. For $9.95 you get 3 rolls (24 pieces) and a bowl of miso soup. I generally order a Philadelphia roll, Boston roll, and spicy California roll. The presentation is clean and simple and highlights their tasty offerings. The owners are Christina and Greg and are super friendly and always remember that I like lots of ginger! I've ordered party trays a number of times and the sushi was the hit of the parties! If you're looking for fancy schmancy sushi this isn't the place for you but if you want fresh, high quality basic rolls at a great price then Misoya Sushi is the place for you! While you're at Assi try other offerings from the food court.

I forgot that crab means imitation crab and I prefer real crab but don't expect that haha. The hibachi flavorings of the shrimp are so good and even though the portion of fried udon noodles was "small", it is a buffet and you can ask for more. This buffet is not self-serving and the food is served to you. They are fairly quick with the food and it is an enjoyable experience. The restaurant has a good operation and the people here work hard and are very friendly. There is something about the slight lack of quality here that I can't put my finger on but it isn't a big deal to me because you know you're entering a place primarily geared toward the buffet, what they offer, they do well, , and the price is reasonable as well. Most of the complainers I think are expecting too much and need to save up and probably pay more elsewhere for certain grade of sushi that you can sense. At least one review mentions the freshness. I didn't think of this until reading that. That is what helps the quality of this food here. Thanks again to the hard working staff to keep preparing and bringing stuff out instead of self serve. It is more work but at least the quality is there for the customer and it is also more sustainable for our world. Also works well with post pandemic "idealism" for buffet style. To add, the waitress was nice enough to split the check up for 5 different people and we didn't mention until after we finished eating. Thank you thank you thank you! The restaurant is kept clean.

The specialty roles are not super eclectic, they are rather basic. But they are decent. The menu is vast and everything comes out so quickly. Service is more than attentive.

The desserts were also, like the appetizers just very pre made chain type of food. They were good desserts sure, just underwhelming and boring. I gotta say tho their whipped cream is strangely different and delicious! As for the service that was not good. There was a long wait of people but we had a reservation and got sat within 3 minutes. hostesses definitely were confused and could have used some help. The atmosphere is lovely and it's such a beautifully designed restaurant. It took around 15 minutes before we even got greeted by our server and he just kept going round to other tables after taking our order instead of immediately putting it into the computer. After her greeted us we ordered drinks and he came back without drinks asking for our appetizer order so we put that in and it came out 5 minutes later... we still had no drinks on our table and appetizers came out first... not great. food runners just brought everything out and no one ever really checked to ask if everything was good. took a long time to get appetizer olates removed and even longer to longer to get our servers attention to order rolls. eventually we ordered and it took 25+ minutes for food to come out. The rolls were good yes but we were over it by then. A century later after hunting someone down we were able to order dessert and again took a while to come out and took even longer to get the check. the server was nice but there was only like 2 servers on a Saturday night so i think if they had more servers the whole meal would have been great.
