Service was great but definitely come if you want a normal portion size of meat for an adult. Jk. It was meant for rabbits. How do you serve an adult these little cubes of steak as a portion. Thought they messed up the order, guess I just messed up coming here instead of mizu.

Love this place! It's a good date spot, but I've also taken my teenaged children there. You can dress however you want and not feel out of place, some are casual while others may be a bit dressier. I enjoy the dinner when it's more crowded, but my favorite time to go is during lunch hours. You can't beat the price, and if you're lucky, you'll be the only person there, feeling like you're getting the vip treatment with you own cooking demonstration. A lunch must-try is the bento box! The food is consistently delicious!

Party of two on wed lunch dined in, place was luxurious and spacious Ive heard of reputation of this place but then food... $4 of salad and $14 seafood soup looked like those soup and salad that come out as side dish even less quality,, special rolls are nothing ordinary , one roll that was recommended was $25 totally not worth it

Some sort of lemonade. Can't remember the name but it was delicious

Visited Ooka for a late lunch one day, and was not disappointed. The restaurant had a very nice ambience. The staff was friendly and attentive. The pineapple shrimp served on a hot stone with the table favorite. The teriyaki New York strip steak was also delicious. But everything we tried was really good. I definitely visit OOKA again.

Lunch time visit after searching decent Sushi place. Clean and large inside with Hibachi place in the other side of space. Separating regular dining and Hibacji dining area is a good thing. Selected Sushi lunch set from the menu. Miso soup and small salad got served prior to Sushi plate. 7 pieces of Sushi and California roll. Very decent Sushi, but wish all 7 pieces were different as 2 pieces of Salmon Sushi were there. Price felt right about as everything got more after COVID. I will try their dinner Sushi when I get a chance.

Fresh sushi. Contemporary decor. Attentive and pleasant service. Ooka is an excellent sushi restaurant, which features a full bar, sushi bar, plenty of booths and banquets. The menu offers many options. I ordered the spicy tuna roll, a salmon roll, AC an eel and cucumber roll, and Montgomery specialty roll. Everything was delicious. If you're in the area, this is the place to go for sushi. I highly recommend.

Chef's special my husband ordered was delicious!

Truth be told, we had initially stopped by Pumpernicks but it was a madhouse and a 20-25 minute wait in a mobbed lobby! No waiting at the roadhouse. I used the app for "call ahead" seating- I do it every when there is no wait. We dined here for a late lunch on Saturday March 21st! I don't recall our servers name but he was very handsome and pleasant. We all chose juicy delicious burgers! Oh YESS!!! They were cooked to perfection! I chose a salad instead of fries- crispy fresh lettuce, eggs, tomatoes with plenty of extra ranch! The ambiance is the typical Texas Roadhouse vibe. It's fun, it's casual and country! Comfortable. The restaurant and restrooms were clean and welcoming. Thank you for a stellar experience! Sorry I was too hungry and forgot my photos.

Baked potato and green beans sides were good as well as the ribs. I did make a comment to Aubrey and she spoke to her manager Desiree. I explained why I wasn't happy and Desiree comped me the entire entree which was well appreciated. Over all everyone enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere and I hopped on the saddle. Good times and great customer service I will be back!

Walked in and the vibe was already a win, warm and inviting, the kind of place where you just relax right into the vibe, or head to the large bar and watch some World Cup action. Went for lunch. Service was on point too, attentive but never annoying about it. Friendly and had real suggestions when asked about faves. They brought out complimentary ceviche and honestly, incredible start. Fresh, acid balanced perfectly so you actually taste the fish, clean, instead of just lime juice and spice. And can we talk about the rice? Sounds basic, looked normie, but it was somehow the most flavorful part of the whole meal. This flavor bomb looked plain but IYKYK that this level of execution just looks simple. The rice alone will have you thinking about indulging your inner fat kid and ordering extra to take home. Like the dessert that you'll likely skip because the portions are filling. Ps. Get the flan! We went all in and ordered the seafood chimichanga, steak, shrimp fajitas, and guac on the side. Everything was cooked exactly right. Nice char on the grilled stuff, proteins juicy and tender, nothing dry, nothing overdone. The sauces were bright and punchy too, tasted like rich Mexican flavors with that fresh from the sea quality paired with exceptionally grilled seafood and tender meat. If you're anywhere near Montgomeryville and haven't been, fix that. This place deserves a crowd.

It sits on a corner spot in a cute area of Ambler near Ambler train station. Service was okay-water glasses were refilled, server read us the specials from her flip pad, we were checked on by both the server and manager. The bussing left something to be desired -crumbs were left on the table, bread was served to several tables that came in after us before we received any, and my dining companion eventually gave up her plate before she wanted to-after being asked multiple times if she was finished with the entree she was trying to savor at a relaxed pace. Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 3/5 Service - 5/5 Food - 4/5 Parking - Private Parking Lot Atmosphere - The restaurant is nothing special and decorated very minimally. Our meal also included steamed egg, corn cheese, and doenjang and kimchi jjigaes, which did not fall short, either. Our waiters were extremely attentive and accommodating! Our original reservation was scheduled for 8:30 PM and our plans changed, so we wanted to come in earlier. The staff did their very best on a packed night and were able to get us in at 7:30 PM and made sure to call us to let us know. We had a waiter grilling at all times, so our food was ready quickly. We felt a bit rushed to clear things out, but otherwise, a really great experience!

We usually sit at the bar, and the bartenders are always friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome. The happy hour food and drink specials are a fantastic value. It's easy to enjoy a great evening out for under $50, which is becoming harder to find these days. The crowd is usually friendly too, making it a fun place to relax and socialize. As for the food, I honestly can't remember having a bad meal here. Everything we've ordered has been flavorful, satisfying, and generously portioned. Unlike many restaurants today, you don't leave feeling like you paid inflated prices for tiny portions. If you're looking for a place with great food, excellent service, an outstanding happy hour, and a welcoming atmosphere, the Metropolitan Diner is definitely worth a visit. We ordered the eggroll sampler and fried pickles as an app. The eggrolls were tasteless, and the fried pickles were so greasy we couldn't eat them.
