I've tried so many different ones in Texas but very few are even close to the quality and TLC made at Chez Pierre. I can't get enough of the buttery, flaky, golden goodness with each savory bite of pure deliciousness! I pre-order them by the dozen to share with visiting family and friends. Everyone who has tried the pate chaud absolutely LOVESSSS them!!! Take one bite and you'll be hooked for life! And while since you're already here, be sure to grab some deliciously potent Vietnamese iced coffee (cafe sua da) to energize your day. Their Vietnamese sandwiches are legit as well for a quick meal on the go. Have a sweet tooth? Their display is full of the most beautifully crafted and yummy pastries/sweets/etc - pick your guilty pleasure! I like to order their cakes for special occasions. Crowd faves are the fruit chantilly cake or the pandan cake- the cakes are light, airy, and not overly sweet. The Chez Pierre staff are always welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about all their menu items. I've only had positive experiences and I know you will love them too! This is your reminder to hurry over for the pate chaud- I promise you will thank me later :)

It's really a shame I wanted to support this local business. The people were not particularly friendly. I think they knew they were selling old products.

I decided to try the miso udon carbonara as well since they announced it as a regular menu item. It's so buttery and flavorful, and the udon noodles are perfect. I got the spam musubi just because I hadn't had one in some years, and it was really good. Nostalgia won this time! I'll be back for other sandos and more treats! The menu has so many options!

First, one of the employees gave my young child an attitude, which was completely unnecessary. Then, instead of politely handing us our ice cream , he tossed the cup onto the counter. It was rude and unprofessional. Customer service matters just as much as the food. A smile and a little kindness go a long way, especially when interacting with families. Based on this experience, we won't be returning. I hope management addresses the customer service, because one employee can completely change the atmosphere of an otherwise great business.

However, this review is about customer service. I took my sister-in-law in during this Mardi Gras to buy her first real King Cake. (How does that happen? She's in her 50's!) They didn't have lemon (!), so we settled on Bavarian Creme. Bad move. Credit where credit is due: Quick check out even though there was a solid line. The first two bites we each took that evening we were taken aback. Tasted like rum was added to the creme. We had seen other boxes marked that alcohol was used, but this one wasn't marked this way so we were comfortable buying it. We both laughed at "who puts rum in Bavarian Creme? New Orleans!" But we now had a cake we would not eat. The voice message I left the next day went unanswered. We gave the cake away to some young guys my husband works with. She picked up an apple King Cake on her way home, but I'm good with taking my King Cake business elsewhere. And if the argument is there wasn't rum in it it just tasted like it, then someone should have called to say so. (It was still an unpleasant flavor for a Bavarian Creme.)
