Came in one random weekday and was so glad we stopped by. It's a cute little cafe serving fresh pastries everyday. We came in late afternoon and they were almost out of everything which is a good sign for me because that means they make everything fresh. I don't know if he was the owner but he was making fresh foccacia bread at the back. We also had their gelatos. The coffee gelato was really good with the toffee bits mixed in. Will definitely be back for more of their foccacia bread! It was so soft, fluffy and flavorful.

I hope this place lasts. The owner is so kind and thoughtful. He offered a sample of fresh Stracciatella gelato, it didn't have the chocolate and I fell in love with it. When I returned another weekend, I mentioned that I didn't realize it had chocolate in it and I'm not a chocolate lover. When ai returned again, he had placed a pint on the side without chocolate for me. That made my week! so amazing! Their muffaletta is amazing also!

Just stopped by for some gelato with my pregnant wife and stumbled upon an absolute GEM. The owner Dale is very friendly and welcoming! The inside was clean and decorated with games to play all around. Dale makes everything from scratch which is a relief from all the processed foods mostly available in the US. He makes a variety of fresh non preservative breads and sandwiches so give this place a try!! SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES

This week's box was delicious!!! Off course, I couldn't leave without the best turtles I ever had.

Great food. Friendly staff. I had the chicken salad sandwich, goat cheese and fig gelato, and brownie.

Nice, family owned bakery. The food is extraordinary and the creativity is evident. I highly recommend The Wandering Goat.

It was just one scoop of disappointment after another. First of all, the "black and gold" flavor that one of us was so excited to have again had freezer burn on it and the chicory flavor was way less pronounced; their king cake flavor was essentially just birthday cake with Mardi Gras-themed sprinkles in it. The other one of us ordered "sweater weather" and it basically tasted like you were mainlining nutmeg. Too intense! And the creole cream cheese just tasted like plain cream cheese--and not in a good way! Our daughter was happy with her cotton candy (blegh) cone. We would not exactly describe portions as generous. Also, it should be mentioned that it was around 50 degrees outside and they had the A/C on full blast in there. Yes, we understand you don't want to pump the heat up and melt the ice cream, but we were shivering. Very unpleasant! What a bummer because we had the fondest memories of Creole Creamery and now it's quite soured. Maybe we need to go back to the Garden District location on another trip, but three stars for now.

Was seated at the bar until a table was available. Second time I came for a private event. Very nice exclusive upstairs private event space and bar, I loved the interior. I had delicious pomegranate lemonade mocktail. I loved the fried chicken hummus, Mediterranean cucumber salad, Brussels chicken, steak the most. Everything was amazing and flavorful, I don't think you can go wrong. The cinnamon date dessert just tasted like bread XD but overall I would totally come back! The reservation process was easy, and I was able to find a time that worked well for us. We arrived and were seated promptly, and our initial order was taken without delay. We went for the falafel and hummus combo, along with a variety of dips like baba ghanoush and muhammara. The food was good and offered a nice spread of flavors. We were specially impressed with the muhammara .We also ordered drinks and had planned to get another round, but unfortunately no one came back to take our order, so we eventually decided to move on. The ambiance is beautiful--bright, airy, and very neutral with a beige-toned aesthetic. Seating was comfortable, though the noise level was a bit high, likely due to it being a busy lunch hour. Pricing reflects the restaurant's popularity and positioning. Overall, it was a decent experience, but not particularly memorable. If I return to New Orleans, this probably wouldn't make it back onto my list.

The food offerings are also much, much better. When I saw the Brocato's stand I was elated. Brocato's, as I call it, is a New Orleans Italian bakery/pastry shop mainstay on outer Carrollton Ave in the Mid-City area. The pastries are outstanding, and they always have incredibly delicious freshly made cannoli. Believe me, it's worth a trip and sometimes the line is out the door. So finding it at the airport was wonderful. They have a number of pastry/cookie and sandwich options, but I was hungry for Gelato. Admittedly, as in other reviews the service is really off. I walked by twice and noone was there... then when someone was there that person was abrupt and very disinterested in their job. Poor service. Not good, Brocato! I ordered a pistachio Gelato and it was splendid, fresh and tasty. So, that was good. If they indeed monitor the service this could be a gem for treats and the airport... imagine munching on a delicious cannoli on your flight home while other passengers gauk and drool! Maybe?!?
