I love my appointments at Hayden Creek Salon! Everyone is so nice and welcoming and I am always happy with my haircut and color with Ruth Ann and my nails with Natalie. First this salon is not respectful of covid at all. Not one staff or guest was wearing a mask other than me. They did however mask up when they started to cut my hair. I did observe that when guests left they did not sanitize their stations. If you are at all concerned about health or safety please choose another salon. Second, my stylist did ask many questions regarding what I would like. I stated no higher than mid neck for the top layer, and for just a trim and to clean up the layers. I am not a stylist so as he asked further questions I just said I trust you, just let it blend together. The cut turned out terrible, it's not even on both sides by INCHES. The layers are done in thick chunks, and angled up like a bad bob. I thought maybe I could style it and make it better, but no there isn't fixing how uneven it is. So I called and asked if I could have a refund so I could to get it fixed, I was directed to send photos and text the owner. I did so, no reply for almost two days. I checked in again, then received a rude response and no attempt to make it right other than when you get back into town I can take a look at it. If you get a job done here that you aren't happy with, don't expect kindness or an attempt to make it right. read more

Hayden Creek Salon is a fabulous place! All of the technicians that work there are pleasant and inviting. Stylist Angelina C. has the magical hair touch! She has been coloring/highlighting and cutting my hair for years and always makes me feel special and pampered. She gives an amazing scalp massage as well. She is a color expert and keeps up to date on the current trends for color and cuts. I highly recommend Angelina, or anyone at Hayden Creek Salon! read more

Angelina C. was unable to handle a pretty basic haircut. Thank God it was not for a special occasion. My cut was so uneven and hacked up that it will take a very long time to get it my hair back to where I do not have to fight with it each day to look decent even though a friends mother was able to clean it up some for me but so disappointing. I went in to get my hair lightened. I asked for blonde and got gold instead. When I asked for toner to take out the red tones my stylist seemed irritated but conceded to my request. She applied the toner or at least that's what she said it was, then left it for 2-3 minutes then told me that my red had disappeared and rinsed me out. Never the less I am still gold and not blonde. So buyer beware that you are getting the services you ask for!! read more

Some of the hair stylists are very good and the hair prices are fine. But here is the warning: The pedicures are very overpriced ($55,when you can scout out pedicures in CDA and Hayden and get a ped for only $40). On top of being overpriced the young lady who does the pedicures is too immature for words. She talks like a 10 year old and her pedicures are awful. She has a little tray with approx 2 teaspoons of cream on it and that is all she uses during the pedicure. One teaspoon for each foot and one little additional squirt of some kind of cream. She doesn't seem to understand that moisturizing is part of the pedicure. She complained endlessly the time she gave me a pedicure about my dry feet! The point that dry feet was one of the reasons I was getting a pedicure seemed to escape her.) She clips the toenails and then rips the ends of them off, leaving the nail jagged on the end if she doesn't get them filed correctly. Since the price of these pedicures is higher than almost any place else in the area I would suggest you save your time and money and get your pedicures some place else. I did try speaking to the owner about the situation but she was having none of it. Too bad since with alot of advice this young lady might grow up and do better in business. So I'd suggest stay away for pedicures but try Randy and Ruth Ann for hair appointments. read more

I have nothing but words of affirmation to say about the staff. However when it comes to the owner of this establishment I was completely disgusted. They way that the owner interacted with her staff was horrific. I felt very uncomfortable with the treatment and language used toward the employees. I will not be giving my money to this establishment again due to the reasons listed above. I hope that these employees are able to find a better work environment, my heart goes out to all of them. read more

I've been a client at Hayden Creek Salon and Spa since they opened and I highly recommend them! I have had many different services completed there - hair (cutting, highlights, treatments, etc), nails, pedicure, facials, waxing and more - and ALWAYS been very pleased with the results. The owners are on-site every day, taking great care in the staff they hire, as well as on-going training and oversight. Some of my best friends are clients now too.
