I had an appointment on Tuesday for a haircut and overall I hate how it looks the only thing I like about the haircut is the length and the face shape on my left side, but my right side is a mess She gave me bangs when I didn't ask for bangs. I asked her to thin my hair out with thinning shears and the crown of my head where I said needed since that's where all the weight sits causing a migraine. I came in thinking I was gonna get relief for my migraine because of the weight of my hair (did get some relief from cutting 2-3 inches off) and it's Saturday and I still am battling it and my hair is still heavy. I thought it was just me and the way I styled it but I've showered twice since Tuesday and we're still having a problem I should not be having a long bang when I asked for a face frame. It's like almost 2 inches of a bang on my right side of my face. Overall, I'm just very unhappy with the outcome and I'm a single mom on a single income and spending 60 bucks on a haircut was very hard for me to do and I should've been able to walk away happy with the product and for the most part I was until I saw my natural hair when it wasn't curled. But now I have to wear it up in a ponytail everywhere I go now because it doesn't lay right because of how she cut it and even the ponytail doesn't even look good because she added long bangs . Don't even try to call the salon to get a hold of somebody to try to have them fix it. Nobody responds it just rings so you're just stuck with the product until your hair grows out. read more

I blindly found this spot because of their hours of operation, because I work 8-5 and have another job during the weekend so it can be difficult to find something that works around YOUR schedule. I was happy that I got to meet Janet she is super sweet! I got a 75minute facial that also included an arm and foot massage. That felt super good! Definitely reminded me to schedule an appt for a massage here in the next couple of weeks, hopefully with someone from highlights, cause of my great experience. I'm no stranger to facials and have gotten all sorts of different styles of facials. Some at high end spas, schools, friends who have their own business but I've yet to get a massage like the one w/ Janet and I mentioned this to her all my facials have been great but not good enough to want to come back because nothing about their facials stood out. I'd definitely recommend scheduling an appt for a service at this salon and spa I sure will. Oh and Janet shares an office w/ her husband who is an Ophthalmologists so if you're on the market for some new frames of lenses. Pop in! Check their hours though, as they vary. read more

I had a relaxing Spa Facial with Janet for the first time yesterday. I can't believe I've lived on this planet for 24 years and never came to see her. She is truly talented and knows exactly what she is doing. I will be back to see her from now on! Also, really cool fun fact...Janet makes all of her own face and skin blends. She used organic essential oils yesterday and I was so relaxed. The room she is set up in is adorable and the bed is like a huge comfortable cloud. I read the reviews on this spa before purchasing my LivingSocials deal (similar to Groupon), saw the high review rating, and viewed their awesome web page and thought, "Yaaa, a nice place! Can't wait!" I saved my coupon for a couple weeks, anticipating a massage around the time of my birthday. I called on Friday, June 22, 2012, left a very, detailed message for Dan specifically, repeating my phone number at least twice, and still have not heard back from them. Yes, answering machine problems, etc, but just really disappointed in not ever receiving a call back. I love the color that they use, and Brittany has always given me amazing haircuts! I've gone in before and just asked for something new and she has always done a great job. I saw Alex this evening and I've never been happier! I flew in from out of town for a conference and had some spare time this afternoon for a cut and color. She did an amazing job low lighting my hair, and highlighting just the front like J. Aniston. She then conditioned my hair and cut it beautifully. I am so sad she is not in my hometown on the east coast, because I would love to see her every 6-8 weeks! Also, she's an absolute sweetheart.
