Really loved the build your own froyo and acai options - a slight upgrade on the places I've been to before, and some of the toppings options were quite unique and delicious, especially the peach pearls. Definitely would come back!

However, the variety of the toppings was small to choose from. For a large it was $19 CAD and the payment device even asks if you want to tip! I thought the price was a bit excessive. In regard to the açaí - it was just ok. It wasn't anything special, in fact it was a little watery tasting. We ate inside and noticed there was a small garbage smell in the store - gross! The woman working there was very nice but I don't think I will be returning anytime soon. In reply to the owner: My review is honest. The Oakberry in Brazil has many more options for toppings. I was specifically looking for powdered milk, which is a common topping for açaí and you didn't have it. I don't think the açaí is being prepared or stored right because it is a bit too watery. I'm not sure how that can be fixed. But yes, my review is honest as you can see I was not being dramatic about the garbage stench. It's not something you want to smell especially while you are eating. $19 CAD for a large is a bit greedy. After all of this, my rating remains the same.

I always get the açai cup with lots of toppings (most toppings are free, some you need to pay extra). It is a bit pricey for açai but it definitely fills me up, especially when I get protein powder added. Service is always quite lovely, never too busy so not a long wait, have a few tables for people to sit down and enjoy. Love that it's pet friendly so I can always pop in for a quick açai break whenever I'm walking my dog!

I ordered the OC açai cuz I like to keep things simple. I also eliminated the cacao nibs and coconut but added the free peanut butter drizzle. I like to keep it as plain as possible because I actually want to taste the açai. Phew! Thankfully I COULD taste the açai here! The toppings were fresh and plentiful. Speaking of plentiful, I thought there was just a tad too much granola. I don't even like granola with my açai to begin with but kept it to try. Next time I'd just ask for a little less. It is $15 for the bowl but this thing is HUGE. It's so worth it. I actually almost didn't finish it because I was getting super full towards the end. I got this for breakfast around 9:40am and I was still pretty full at 1pm. Everything on their menu looks so good and I can't wait to try more!!

Service was slowish and took a while for the drink to be made. Even when there was no customers ahead of me. Ambiance is more of a take out establishment. Bright white building though with tall counters. Clean and had three staff on hand. Overall, a little put off with the lack of transparency with their additional optional add ons. Everything here is organic - from the produce to ingredients in the ready-to-go meals and products. There are a wide variety of homemade soups, pizza station serving thin-crust pizza made of spelt flour (including vegan options), various salads, and more. Note that the hot food bar is only open on weekdays (to serve the office crowd), but they have other great and healthy grab-and-go options. Weekend grocery shopping here is quiet and not as crowded as in most other supermarkets, making it a pleasant experience. I love the variety of products they offer - lots of high-quality, gluten-free, organic, and vegan products and brands that are not commonly found in most other mainstream grocery stores. There are bulk nuts, tempeh, hummus, and the biggest variety of plant-based milks and nut butters I have seen in any supermarket. The bags they provide for produce are compostable. They have tables and seating areas for eating, and a gender-neutral and wheelchair-accessible washroom. Limited-time parking is available in the underground private parking lot. You can get the parking ticket validated by the cashier.
