I…read moregenerally keep an old school, short, flat-top style and she is the only local barber that consistently gets it right! Her shop is local, centrally located and I've never had an extensive wait. Speaking of waiting, while there is no free Wi-Fi there are magazines, you remember, they are like Google articles that have been printed on shiny paper. There is plenty of seating, a small play area for very small children and a calming fish aquarium. The shop is always clean and orderly and the temperature is just right. Figure out the style you want, decide who you'd like to perform your cut and you'll become a regular too. Like the seats in the waiting area there is plenty of parking in the parking lot. I'm a Covite and like to keep my business local whenever I can and C.J.'s is as local as they come, across from Walgreens and just off of Business 190. The prices are typical and reasonable, pay C.J.s a visit, you'll surely "LIKE" the service you receive.

At first, I thought maybe they were busy, so I walked out -- but then turned around to ask how long the wait might be, only to be told "no" again. When I asked for clarification on whether we couldn't get services at all, the answer was still just "no." If this salon is appointment-only or unable to take walk-ins, that's completely understandable -- but basic communication and professionalism go a long way. A simple explanation would have made all the difference. Instead, the experience felt rude, confusing, and unnecessarily dismissive. Customers deserve clear, respectful communication, especially when they're walking in ready to spend money. Unfortunately, this experience left a very poor first impression.

Cynthia did my highlights last year and today she cut my hair. Both times I was very satisfied with the results. I moved to this area from Hawaii and went to very expensive salons in Honolulu which often left me unsatisfied and hundreds of dollars poorer lol Another reason why Cynthia has gained my trust is because she cut my hair for a while and I thought half of my hair would be gone, but when I turned around I saw that not much was cut off.
