The website said that the haircut included shampoo, conditioner and style. Yet, she asked me if I wanted my hair washed and then I had to ask her to style it. She cut my hair dry. I've never had anyone cut my hair without shampooing it first. My hair is not even. The right side is longer than the left. I will not go back and do not recommend it read more

This is a nice Day Spa which offers several services. Esthetician, Hair Services, were both available when I went in. I had my hair cut there. Sylvia Hess is their new stylist, she is warm and friendly, making it fun to visit. She cut my hair and did not at all balk when I asked her to cut some layers a little shorter, the following day. (Be able to communicate what you want!) The price point is a little higher than other salons in the area. The spa is clean and it is nice to have a beautiful spa in Cove! Worth the visit. read more

Went here for my birthday to get a blow dry and blow out. Showed the hair dresser what i wanted as far as a blow out style. Did not get what I wanted at all, which had me having to style my hair before dinner. But the place was very clean and the woman I had was very sweet. Went for a haircut at this salon. Second time I had been there. Every few years my stylist back home did an extremely light hair thinning. I mean like two snips and that was it. Nothing more. I went in with super long hair hair as thick as a horse main. I had a lot of hair. The stylist here only thinned my hair out in one spot on the back of my hair and continuously kept thinning and thinning. To the point were I get home to look at it and there is holes in my hair and completely broken. Keep in mind she would have 100% noticed her mess up that's how bad it was. I rescheduled to have her go back in to have her fix it and I ended up canceling because what If she messes up again. Finally found a salon that will try to help my hair as it is completely damaged broken and so thinned out in just the back of my head. This is why I have such a hard time trusting salons. For someone who has had so much hair her entire life to look like this now is actually devastating. I have to wear my hair up constantly because of how bad it is. my daughters and I went there for our haircuts. I paid for partial in advance because it's mandatory when you make the appointment online. They have great customer service and they were very attentive. The problem was when it came time to do my hair. they lady said she was going to straighten my hair because it's easier for her to see if my hair is cut right since I have curly hair. I was not informed that I would be charged $30 for straightening my hair. If I wanted my hair straightened I would have added that service. This was something the hair technician wanted to do to make her job of cutting my hair easier. I don't mind paying for this service, but I should have been informed that even though she wanted to do thi, I would have to pay for it. read more

It makes me uncomfortable to have to write a negative review, because I think the salon does an extraordinary job at doing hair. But the level of unprofessional ism and complete disregard for the client/stylist relationship here is far above and beyond anything I've ever experienced in my life. So in my book, they've earned it. A fellow blonde referred me to Iggyi. This fellow blonde had gorgeous, non-brassy, shiny, natural looking color with dimension and highlights. Exactly what I've been having done in San Francisco every 6 weeks on the dot for the past 7 years. Perfect! I thought. But making an appointment was an excruciating and painful, drawn-out process... That's not what bothers me though: The reason I am giving this salon a one star review is because the receptionist absolutely insists on making me become a client of another stylist. She has called to cancel and reschedule my long standing appointment and has left many voice messages. In fact, she seems almost hell-bent on switching me to a different hairstylist whom I don't know. As I have discussed with her already over the phone, my thinking process is, "Why would I switch stylists???" I am a direct referral. I don't just walk into any salon and ask for my hair colored. My hair would be disastrous if I did that. I have to be on TV for work and I just can't. I just thought it was super weird. I am not sure what type of business they are running, but so far the experience has been uncomfortable and negative. read more

I've been here twice now, and both times were great! I don't remember my stylist's names but both were very sweet and professional. I had a shampoo and cut (trim) both times; the service was fast and efficient, but I never felt rushed. The atmosphere is calm and laid back and they don't try to push products on you. Was given a gift card for this salon by my husband. Was really hoping for a great experience especially because I live nearby. However, my haircut was literally one of the worst I've ever had. I'm pretty sure the stylist was fresh out of school. She was incredibly nervous and kept cutting in order to get it straight. Unfortunately that didn't happen and I had to go elsewhere to have it fixed. The cashier couldn't figure out how to use my gift card, then couldn't add the tip on for me. I used to love this salon - the service and quality was great. However, my last appointment was canceled by the salon because the stylist was sick. Ok, no big deal... life happens. When they called to cancel, I asked about either rescheduling with the stylist on a different date or another stylist. I was told that someone else could see me the following day. I told the receptionist that I wanted to double check, but to please book the appointment. If I couldn't make it, I'd call back within the hour the let them know. She declined to schedule it and told me to call back. When I called back, there were no appointments available and I couldn't be seen by ANY stylist for 5 weeks. I totally understand that things happen, employees get sick etc but I think that being unable to reschedule for FIVE WEEKS is unreasonable and poor service. Because of this, I have found another salon and don't feel good referring friends here anymore. read more

The entire staff were fantastic, there were many products available, they have a helpful sign up front for scheduling your next appointment, lovely salon, etc. I'm also disabled and they were extremely considerate and not at all intrusive about my slight special needs. I called to schedule an appointment for cut and color and they stated I would need a consultation because my last stylist did not leave any notes.
