One of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding was to choose Hayward Photography as our photographers. From our initial meeting with Everett we encountered nothing but warmth, professionalism, and clear, concise communication. Everyone that we have corresponded with at the Studio has had the same demeanor with us. When we initially spoke about the wedding almost a year beforehand, we spent over an hour with Everett who was so patient with all of our questions and guided us through the whole process. We discussed photo wants, needs, styles etc. and everything was noted by Everett; we even looked at albums and pointed out styles and ideas that we wanted to include in our pictures. Everett kept constant contact through email and phone calls to discuss any changes or if I had thought of anything else I could want in my pictures. He even sent us pictures in styles that he thought we would like to really understand our style. Closer to the wedding he went to the location, scouted out where we were going to take photos, made a timeline for all of us, and ran us through the process so that we could even make it to our cocktail hour, which we did! So much time and effort went into our experience with Everett and it showed. They took care of every detail and guided our bridal party as well as our hard to manage, large families seamlessly and we got every photo we were looking for. We had some pictures emailed to us the next day and by the time we got back from our honeymoon a little more than a week later, our proofs were ready to look at! My son Danny has severe autism, is non-verbal, and has behavioral problems including self-injury and aggression. Because of these problems, we almost never have good photos of him (despite how cute he is!). His school pictures, however, were always great! So when we wanted a family portrait we went straight to the same photographer: Hayward Photography. We were so pleased with the experience and the results. First I will note that he and his staff were very nice and accommodating to get our family into the appointment 12 days before Christmas with little notice. He was wonderful with Danny and used a number of stuffed animals and other tricks to get Danny to smile and look at the camera. And the picture turned out great! (He even touched up my son's acne for free.) We will be going back for another picture next fall. I would urge anyone, whether they have a disabled child or not, to check out Hayward photography. I have been a customer and "fan" of Hayward Photography since our children were in pre-school. I always felt comfortable talking with Everett Hayward about what I wanted to see in the photo. We then started using Hayward Photography for family photos and again, he always met my vision. How nice to work with someone who 'knows' your family and knows how he has to work with them to get what he needs for a fabulous photo. We were planning a family and friends reunion recently and I'm glad I thought of hiring a professional photographer. And I am so glad I hired Hayward Photography. Everett, the owner, was so helpful and an expert photographer. The day of the reunion things went very smoothly thanks to Everett. We had lots of group shots and lots of candids. We had a great time and you could tell from the pictures. I don't know how Everett did it but he managed to get 95 people into one shot. We used this for our Christmas card thanks to the creative efforts of his staff. The photo album is great. We had a large picture done of the entire group. I had my son's senior (high school) picture taken by Hayward Photography last month. The people we dealt with at Hayward (Everett Hayward and Sheena) were professional, accommodating, and easy to work with. Best of all, we love the senior picture we choose. We actually really liked many of the pictures and had difficulty choosing THE best one. My son doesn't generally love to get his picture taken, but Mr. Hayward made the experience of posing in different places around Turner's Pond in Milton friendly and somewhat fun. We set up an appointment with Sheena after the pictures were taken, and she was very helpful in showing us, on the computer, the different pictures, comparing them, and then helping with the touch-up on the final picture we chose. I chose Hayward Photography for my wedding pictures based on how reasonable his prices were, and I was glad I did. Everett was great to work with. He took the time to meet with me, my fiance, and my mother before the wedding. He listened and followed through with all of our requests. Plus he stayed later into the night and was able to capture some great candid shots of when the party really got underway. We received CD's with all of our pictures very quickly. I think we got our pictures back before we even returned from our honeymoon. We also received an album with all of our pictures. It's supposed to be used as a way to easily search for pictures you want to order from him specifically, but it's made well enough so that we could use it as our wedding album. read more

Everett recently photographed our wedding in August 2013. He was excellent and so accommodating to all the various requests we made before the day and during the day. He was great and quick to think of multiple plan B's as the day weather wise was not as perfect as we'd hoped. Our proofs look wonderful rain or not. We captured a few quick shots post rain which came out beautiful! He worked great with our daughter who is four years old. He was able to capture her personality and spunk which was a high priority on our list. We have many great shots to choose from. Hayward Photography has been taking my children's school pictures for years and they do an amazing job! My daughter has special needs and is in a wheelchair and her class picture has always been superb! The photographers do an excellent job including her with her class despite the wheelchair. She can be a challenge to photograph but time is always taken to get a great shot. I believe they go above and beyond what would be expected from a school picture shoot! I have used Hayward Photography for two wedding events. The pictures from both events were great and the customer service I received was exceptional. I used them as my wedding photographer based on recommendations from three friends who also had an outstanding experience. After booking them for my wedding my niece and nephew's school pictures were done by them also, they are great photographers. Unfortunately, our school uses this far away, inconsiderate, mediocre firm. Years in a row, they continue to take money up front, provide one careless picture with no access to viewing alternatives, late notification of retakes which dont' make it to parents in time. When contacted, they provide trite responses and blame the parent, school , or child for the problem and attempt to collect further undeserved funds. DO not use this company if you are ever given this choice. read more

I wasn't convinced we needed a professional photographer...til I saw the photographs from Hayward. He's a pro--Everett knew where to take the photo-a beautiful tucked-away setting, the right time of day for light, how to compose us, our family sitting together, so it balanced like a piece of art.
