Its a TWO hour pass, deceitful name. I don't use the SLOWEST trolley in the world too often for the above-mentioned reasons. The trolley hours are short. They run from 0500 until 2300. This is my ride to 47th Street from Gillespie field. I purchased my ticket at 1048 and had to wait 20 minutes for a trolley. Only the GREEN line runs in Santee. Now I have to transfer in El Cajon at Arnele Street. For some weird reason, the trolley stops for TEN minutes, no driver change nor transfers not even a bus connects. 1115 now rolling. Arriving to 47th Street at 1145. It would take you approximately 45 minutes plus 20 minutes waiting around for the trolley to show up. If you were riding from Santee to Downtown you would be ENTRAPPED, perfectly set up for a 330 dollar ticket.

Obviously you come here for the aviation business, and though there's nothing else, it is a great trolley station for its purpose. The layout is a bit dull and I would have expected a more personalized touch to it considering the area but I guess that's just silly thinking. Overall, it's a trolley station fit for its purpose of its surrounding and that's it. Thankfully, it's pretty clean, but I'm not sure that's because it's not a very high traffic station or because people are just cleaner there.

The design of trolley the Green Line that services from the 12th and imperial is one that has brought so much to Santee. As a yelp Elite Reviewer that when the Trolley was being Introduced to Santee it was an issue that Santee had stated they didn't want the problems that would come from the trolley. After the many years the trolley has changed the look of Santee making travel much easier for those that go to work in Downtown San Diego. With Santee Town Center has been one place that has surprised so many with the many retails and grocery stores that are located close by. What is an area that meets at three sections with a river running through the valley? With the valley that leads to the areas of the Stadium is more cleaned and well organized as I see the Grantville area have become as the dumping ground. The many trips that I have taken to see the many stations and to catch the busses that you may need to go to the Zion Hospital and the many major medical offices in the area near Grantville. The Grantville Station is located over near the many hotels and the car dealerships with the bus#88 and the bus #13 that takes you over to the areas of the Camino Del Rio south and the Old Town Trolley Station. With the Bus #13 that services the many areas of the National City 24th street trolley center which connects with the Euclid Transit and trolley Center. Grantville is one of the oldest communities in San Diego and the State of Calif the first European settlement that was organized in the year 1769. Yes, Grantville serves a very vital part of the valley and also has the great history to know of the valley and the connections that it has to the connections of Old Town and the City area of Tecolote. Being on the trolley and taking the day and getting a look about to see the many areas when you don't have a lot of money what else can you do. Traveling the buses and the trolleys on the of a Senior Disabled Bus pass with many people they take to the freeways and the long lines of traffic with worst drivers are not fun for most. The San Diego Transit station is becoming more crowded and with the many businesses of the valley the only thing you can do is build a bigger transit bus connection zone at Grantville. The many stations that are close by and be able to help the many students to help get them to school and the easy access of the trolley makes it much easier and less expensive to pay for parking and the high cost of Gas. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer having been through the station many times with the constant construction and the many trucks coming through it makes the areas much more trashed and the river valley has much trash that comes from the many construction sites and those that are dumping into the San Diego River. I guess for obvious reasons the MTS can't install and maintain bathroom facilities. It'd sure be nice though. After a couple of beers at Oggi's, then catching the ride on the green line from Santee to Amaya, this is about the time we could use a pit stop.
