Great cocktails and you can't beat the $7 Happy Hour. Our must stop when on S Pearl Street. Service is decent but kind of aloof both times we have been. Three middle aged old ladies aren't hip enough for more than monosyllabic responses lol

A small artists bar on Pearl street that has chill vibes and friendly bar staff. It is not big and had some decent drink specials to take advantage of as well. They have adult coloring books for you to use while you are enjoying your libations too. The walls are covered with art that is for sale from local artists and the prices on their drinks are fair.

Fantastic bar! I stopped in on a Friday afternoon and nearly had the place to myself for the first hour. I was impressed with their seasonal cocktail menu - the staff come up with their own creations which the boss lady modifies or approves - and the choices rotate every few months. Really fun stuff, and the FUGI was amazing! Cocktails range from $10 to $14, and they've also got a list of happy hour cocktails for six or seven bucks. The bartender was awesome and seating was great! Plenty of high tops, but they also have a super comfy couch corner in the back. Cheers!

Was wondering down in the Pearl area on a Thursday evening and stopped in for the first time. Wasn't very crowded which is always a little worrisome in Denver but me and my daughter both ordered an Espresso Martini. We have been keeping a list and rating them all over town and told the friendly bartender! He told us this would be the best we had. He was pretty spot on. We both rated the drink a 9/10. We sat outside on the small patio and really had an amazing time. Loved everything about this spot and will go back!

Love this place on S Pearl for amazing cocktails and fun vibes! Their signature drink, Hazel, was phenomenal. Knocking off a star because of service--not very great.

Great vibe, good happy hour, chill people with some lounge chairs and couches. Cocktails are well balanced.

My fiance and I stopped in at Hazel while waiting for our table at a restaurant down the road. Hazel is a small spot, so we were lucky to be seated at one of the very last tables at the time we popped in on a Friday around 6. The moment we sat down, one of the bartenders came over to ask us what we'd like. We told him we hadn't had time look at the menu yet, but he insisted we didn't need to look at it, but to just tell him what type of drink we were looking for. I told him I wanted a gin drink w/ hints of floral and sweet - but not too sweet, while my fiance wanted a mix between an Old Fashioned and Whisky Sour. Within 5 minutes, the bartender had whipped us our drinks. We tried them and they were very strong, but so delicious! We truly enjoyed every sip. At the same time, we loved the ambiance of the place, as it gave off ra chill, neighborhood vibe w/ a fancy twist. The artwork on the walls provided a flair and extra pop of color and the lighting was dimmed and romantic for our Friday date night. I'd definitely come back here for more delicious cocktails in a unique setting.

The members have been carefully selected and are all accomplished artists in mid to late career. The work shown is always of extemely high quality. The facility was created for previous gallery/studio owners and D'art has made the most of it. The main gallery at the east side of the complex shows work from the 27 member artists plus the occasional outside show. The separate space in the far east corner is the East Gallery which is available for 4-week rentals and shows a variety of work. The other large gallery at the west side is the home of D'art 360, what I would call the associate members. Again, this is used for rotating shows of work by those 30 artists. The adjacent North Gallery has been used lately as a permanent display space with a sample of work by each associate artist. But wait, there's more! Go through a hallway north of the main (east) gallery, past the (nice) restrooms, and you'll find five studio spaces plus the D'art Collection, a curated, permanent gallery of the main co-op members' work. The members of this gallery are serious artists and the work shown is always original and interesting. The prices are reasonable for original work. Their openings are always worth a visit.

For that moment in my personal history, I always take the opportunity to swing through whenever I find myself down that direction for any reason. The gallery that was has long since changed hands a couple of times, yet always attracts some good shows. Over the last several months, I have found myself back at this place twice now as a destination. I haven't done that once for this gallery space in over a decade. Artist-owned and operated as a co-op in this iteration, it seems someone was taking notes. The main showroom is still in the front, with the full windows facing the intersection. There are still private, working studio spaces in the back, but the layout has been shuffled a bit. From the outside, the changes are subtle. They have fixed, open hours from Thursday through Sunday, which is a standout in comparison to other galleries in the area. What was the backdoor entrance and an empty corridor is now utilized as functional space for a satellite gallery. The main gallery and this secondary gallery have representation from co-op members. The range of work offers a wide variety of media and artistic voices. There's a smaller "featured" type gallery off the main gallery, which rotates solo shows. All in all, they've really gotten all they can out of the space, tastefully. So, if you're looking for a place that's not the cramped and crazy of First Friday, get on their mailing list or check their calendar when you're planning a night out. After all, this is the place D'ART.
